You should have seen us in the other thread where we talked about how the OSU people were calling Sherrone third base and how dumb that was because they just don’t get how Ryan Day actually earned that name. And we laughed, and we laughed…

I doubt Moore is going to start running his mouth about hanging a hundred on OSU (something Day has notably failed to do, cumulatively, since he said that) 

Not so much where he’s born as his understanding that he didn’t hit a triple to get there

As many wins against his rival as Ryan Day and none of the Ls.

Chuck - serious question:  how does the talent level and the state of the program at Michigan compare to the talent level and state of the program at OSU for all OSU coaching hires after Woody Hayes up to Ryan Day?

OSU has almost always has more talent.  I can't speak to the state of the program, but there must have been some issues during most of the coaching changes.

Funny.  I like the hire of HC Moore, but I recognize that your comment is based on parallelism.    Time will tell.  I hope that winning the Joe Moore Award two years running and OC of an NC team is a better indicator than coaching with Dwayne Haskins and Justin Fields.

I keep hearing from OSU fans that Michigan is losing a bunch of talent and they’re going to suck… then I hear the same people making the third base comments. Which is it? 

Just reading all the replies to Chuck’s post like:

Started on third, but got us home.   Day started on third and went back to second, Chuck. And might go back to first soon.

There aren't 16 bases in baseball.  So considering recruiting he would be sitting in the dugout waiting for a pinch at bat.  Which he looks pretty good at.

Moore has as many wins vs Ohio state as Day has vs Michigan.. he's Been the official head coach for an hour.. let that sink in
