Truscott is the kind of guy I wish we had 6-10 of in every year's roster. Talented enough to be draftable, but no so much that the NHL is trying to rip the guy off campus. Give me AHL guys all day (mixed in with a few top end guys to be clear)
I'm not sure how to put this eloquently...but the tea leaves on the QB room are pretty bad when you consider no one is ever negative about spring practice. A lot of the praises are mixed in with stuff like can't read defenses, throwing picks, etc.
Well said. 2021 was maybe the most cathartic win Michigan has had in generations, but people could easily write off that season as an aberration like MSU making the CFP a few years prior if we hadn't built off it
Winning decisively in Columbus in '22 was Michigan football announcing loudly that '21 was no mistake. Maybe the game that made CFP nationally realize this program was for real.
I find the NCAA giving these guys a show cause to be fairly absurd given the accusations here. Maybe the guys all just said yeah whatever because most of them are in the NFL? Because if this stuff gets you a one year show cause then a lot of guys should be banned from CFB for life

Stallions was busted every which way you can be...and six months later they haven't been able to tie it anyone else. You'd sure think if this was some program wide conspiracy that the PI would've at least been able to link a name to Stallions by now
Michigan has 15 frozen fours since 1990 and 2 titles. Denver has 7 frozen fours and five titles in the same window. Thats just unfair. Michigan hitting at the same rate wouldve won 9 or 10 titles since ‘90
I maintain 2 years of a 1st rounder does not qualify for a michigan hockey summer. Michigan has not had a true michigan hockey summer in years. The OHL used to be the bane of our existence and honestly it feels like we’ve had a ton of success lately

It was frustrating to watch the young, super NHL talented team play killer defense and then burn you the other way. Never felt like we played defense like that in '21 or '22. Also frustrating that we just couldnt buy a goal - if anyone did fancy stats for college hockey, it felt like the expected goals for Michigan should've been at least 1 or 2 given the chances down low...then you're playing a great game and BC comes down and gets a series of rube goldberg deflections to get goal #2. They played a good game and just had zero puck luck last night to give them any help
Bummer to not even get one in the net. The team played far better than the 4-0 score suggests. Really tough for Barzo who I thought had a great tournament
All I'd hoped for was to get hot and make the frozen four. Hopefully a lot of the guys come back next year and this team will be really good
They've honestly played a really good game. BC is just that good and cashed in on their chances and Michigan hasn't had any puck luck despite having a bunch of good looks. Some better bounces and this is a close game
Michigan hockey and basketball have both had terrible luck of getting really close to winning titles and falling short. Basketball is like 1-6 in title games and hockey only has 2 titles in 15 frozen fours since Red got us back
How stacked the football team has been shows how stacked you gotta be sometimes to get to the top.
I dont think its coping (maybe you didn't mean it that way). This was s omething of a bridge team between Mel's time and before Nar has gotten to get recruiting going in full swing. To get hot late and hang another Frozen Four banner is awesome
That stupid "trip" call on Duke totally changed the game. You're having to play a great game to hang with BC and it's annoying the refs in this game are suddenly blowing whistles everywhere after no one called anything in Missouri
Its unfortunate we're here because I think we've been getting the Barzo we needed to make a deep run. None were really bad goals tonight. Hung out to dry on 1 & 3. Goal 2 was just a dumb deflection that happens. He's been good

FWIW he seems like he was clearly the better of Ferris' two goalies this year to the point that you gotta ask why they were splitting time at all

Nice end to the season. Making the frozen four was my highest hope for this team back in February
