Content. Honestly, I feel like I'm able to have my fandom be put away in a lock box and leave it there. Its weird. I felt like I would always want more, but after the game it was just- it. No doubt I will always root for UM, but I'm not sure I need to be as invested as I've been in the past. Especially with the game becoming "semi -pro" I see the landscape changing in the next few years more than any of us have witnessed in the past. The team winning it all and all those other factors, have me almost feeling like I accomplished what I needed to do- I sought it out to the end, through decades of drama, highs and lows. Maybe nothing will change and this feeling will be fleeting, but as of now, I feel like stepping back from it all. I'm just content. Couldn't possibly want or need anything more. Full.
I remember following Terrelle Pryor's recruitment with great interest and finding this site. We lost out on him, but I gained a website that has become a daily ritual. So really, win/win.

I remember 2006. Bo had just passed and my young self was convinced if there were any justice in this world, Michigan would win two days later. We lost. And that game was one of those life lessons that life isn’t fair and not everything is destined to work out for the righteous.
A decade and a half later, I’m still conscious of that life lesson. The cosmos don’t care. Michigan needs to win tomorrow. We need to prove (unfairly) that the last two years weren’t won because of a wild stallion. If there is any grace in the universe, we will curb stomp Ryan Day and his prodigal career. BUT it’s not our pre ordained destiny just because OSU is a douche. The universe could just as easily give the next generation of fans the same lesson I received in 2006. I’m all for supporting the players, but as I said in a now deleted thread- If we lose to OSU (or Maryland) and/or Harbaugh leaves, I’m done. I’m sure it won’t be a popular take, but I feel it’s not worth the time and energy to follow a sport that is run by an organization akin to the WWE and that is actively playing the role of saboteur. So now, winners and losers are blatantly picked off the field of play?
Frankly, it reminds me of the time I stopped watching the NFL. The Lions lost to Dallas in the wildcard, because of egregious, biased reffing since the NFL is in the bag for the boyz. It’s a sad reality that many modern sports being decided by the best players and coaches is but an illusion.

They've had a helping hand in trying to ruin our brand, now its our turn. I would expect such from behavior from OSU and MSU, but not our own conference. And ESPN with Thamel is shameful reporting. Above and beyond failing of journalistic integrity and oversight. Somehow I dont see them eating humble pie about any of this. I hope they have the balls to show up for GAMEDAY.

My latest weird idea- Players have no communication with the sideline regarding play calling. QB calls plays for offense. LB calls plays for defense.
