Thanks for posting.  This…

Thanks for posting.  This was excellent.  The program appears to be in very good hands.

Yea this guy can go fuck…

Yea Pate can go fuck himself.

Its the same reason why…

Its the same reason why people kept saying Beilein runs a 1-3-1 defense.  Lazy journalism.

You have a guy in Judkins…

You have a guy in Judkins who was apparently difficult to coach, not a great teammate, and wasnt happy with his 20 carries per game now splitting carries with the incumbent starter in Henderson, running behind what might be a suspect offensive line (Klatt had same concerns as well), and playing for a head coach just itching the throw the ball.  I expect OSU to be extremely good this year, and that defense will keep them in games, but that just looks like a receipt for disaster with Judkins and a locker room issue just waiting to happen.

Those two Donovan Edwards…

Those two Donovan Edwards runs at the end are my all time favorite moments as a lifelong Michigan fan.  I am not an outwardly emotional person watching games, but I was jumping up and down watching that.  Absolutely incredible.

We just had our beloved…

We just had our beloved strength coach of 15 years that has meant so much to this program resign after an incident stemming from Jace "berating" a coach.  That isn't normal.  I dont know what being around teams has to do with this.  You don't see strength coaches resigning like this.

Is Jace Howard really going…

Is Jace Howard really going to be a part of this team?  From his dad being the former coach, to the sense of entitlement it takes to get into it with a member of the strength staff, to that fact that he isnt a high major level player, I would have to imagine him transferring is in the best interest for everybody involved.

Their defensive efficiency…

Their defensive efficiency numbers have been terrible all year, and my guess is it finally comes back to bite them against UConn.  This is a 2 day prep for a team that runs a complex offensive scheme that requires you to really communicate on defense.  That seems like a major problem for a team with defensive efficiency numbers barely inside the Top 100.

On top of that I think Stephon Castle and Tristan Newton are both very good defenders.  I dont think they will shut down Shannon and Domask, but I do think they will make things very tough on them.

This looks like a UConn blowout win more than anything.  If this is a close game, Illinois is also long overdue for a trademark Coleman Hawkins massive fuck up moment.

Guard play. Guard play…

Guard play. Guard play. Guard play.  You win in college basketball with guard play and I dont think there is any doubt Dusty May knows what he is doing when it comes to guards.  It would be one thing if he lucked into 2 guys that did everything, but his teams these last 2 years had 6 guards that could all play.  That is no fluke to me.  This program is going to be built on guard play again and I love it.

Any reason Jerome Tang was…

Any reason Jerome Tang was not mentioned in this?  I have been pretty impressed with the job he has done at Kansas State the last two years and I think he has brought a great energy and excitement to that program.

Also, I wonder if there would be any interest in Luke Murray.  He is an assistant at UConn and has been credited for his recruiting and really turning around their offense under Hurley.  That offense has really taken off since he was hired a couple years ago, and Hurley is constantly praising this guy.  He looks like he could be one of the next big coaching names in college basketball but wonder if a high major program considers him without any head coaching experience.

I dont expect the AD to say…

I dont expect the AD to say anything groundbreaking in a post-game interview like this, but just funny he is proud of the effort of one of the worst teams in Michigan basketball history, the clear worst team in the B1G, and one of the worst teams in all of high major basketball.  The word pride is probably the last word that should be used in any capacity when talking about this ALL TIME TERRIBLE team.

I have been really impressed…

I have been really impressed by what Dusty May has done.  They have about 5 or 6 guards that can all really play and have great offensive skill (can handle, can shoot and attack the basket) and all of these guys were no name recruits except for 1 guy which is a UConn transfer.  I mean that is a ridiculous amount of backcourt talent to have anywhere, especially at a place like FAU.  He has obviously done a great job identifying and developing talent at the most important position at college basketball (like Beilein), and clearly he doesnt need to recruit at a really high level to do it.

Agreed, its pretty…

Agreed, its pretty incredible that as time passes we get more evidence suggesting this whole thing was an absolute joke.  Mike MacDonald is going to get an NFL head coaching job either this year or the next.  So, what changed in 2021?  Was it Conner Stallions or was it the fact that we had a future NFL head coach calling our defense followed by another guy that will likely be an NFL head coach in the near future?

The Big 12 commissioner…

The Big 12 commissioner should step in right away before any investigation is complete and suspend the ISU head coach.  Of course that won't happen because that would be beyond ridiculous.

Nobody in the media will mention it, but this should put into perspective just how obnoxious the whole situation with Michigan was.  This is why it was Michigan v. Everybody.  The things that were said and done to this program were so unprecedented and so out of line it is laughable.

I didnt think this needed to…

I didnt think this needed to be clarified but Cryin Ryan is in reference to his constant whining, complaining and excuse making.

If starts making obnoxious…

If Sherrone starts making obnoxious comments like he going to hang 100 on ohio state with a program another coach built, then you can make those jokes.  Sherrone won't do that though, he isnt an insecure little bitch like Cryin' Ryan.

The next thing Bruce Feldman…

The next thing Bruce Feldman is right about will be the first thing he is right about.  Its amazing to me how much "credibility" this guy has.

Warde lucking into Harbaugh…

Warde lucking into Harbaugh pulling off one of the greatest turnarounds in college football history will convince him to give Juwan more time.  It would be absolutely foolish to expect a similar turnaround for the basketball program, but that is what he is going to do no matter how this season finishes.

The national championship…

The national championship was played on November 25, 2023 in Michigan Stadium.  Those were the 2 best teams in the country.

To quote Coach Beilein: They…

To quote Coach Beilein: They're gonna win the highlight tape, we're gonna win the game

That is a miserable, spoiled…

That is a miserable, spoiled fan base.

On one hand I wish the other…

On one hand I wish the other top B1G teams performed better against two of the top SEC teams.  On the other hand, fuck the B1G, fuck Ryan Day and fuck James Franklin.

Best:  Bert Bielema would…

Best:  Bert Bielema would get even fatter.

Worst:  Bert Bielema would not publicly say the word "disgusting" unless he was describing himself.

Rich Rod could have had the …

Rich Rod could have had the #1 recruiting class every year and he still would have fucked it up.  He was not shy at all about pointing fingers as to why his time as Michigan was a failure, but bottom line is his teams here were very poorly coached.  There were a lot of embarrassing games to choose from, but I dare anyone to watch that 2010 Wisconsin game and tell me this coach was ever going to get it done here.

Marvin Harrison is coming…

Marvin Harrison is coming back to catch passes from who exactly?  Devin Brown and his 54% completion percentage?  OSU is going to find out the options in the transfer portal aren't any better than the guy they just ran out of town.

I do not believe he was, and…

I do not believe he was, and Brugler had him ranked as the #43 prospect on his latest Big Board earlier in the month.  Brugler has been extremely good at identifying guys that will rise durinfg the draft process, so him putting Daniels as a Top 10 pick after where he had him ranked earlier in the month is significant.

As I said, I am not getting…

As I said, I am not getting my hopes up he passes on that opportunity.  There are certainly advantages to being drafted later in the first round by a (likely) better run franchise.  At the same time, QB is a unique position in that experience is at such a premium.  With the rules in place now that protect QBs where guys like Brady, Brees and Rodgers are playing into their 40s, you dont need to rush to get into the league as a QB.  To be as prepared as possible entering the league (hello Brock Purdy) and putting yourself in the best position possible to earn that second contract while at the same time improving your draft stock into a Top 5 pick and earning an extra $15-$20 million on that initial contract, I do think there is a strong argument to be made to stay another year.  That massive second contract is not a given by any means.

This is his press conference… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA-ksaBhhWE

This is his press conference after the Penn State game.  His comments at the 1:10 mark really stuck out to me.  If this place really means this much to him I could see him sticking around as a coach in waiting if Harbaugh does end up leaving in a few years.

Going 4-8 in the worst B1G…

Going 4-8 in the worst B1G West ever, losing your best offensive player to the portal and now the conference is doing away with divisions and adding 4 programs that are all way bigger than Purdue.  I'm just calling a spade a spade, but Ryan Walters is fucked.

Tony should take a page out…

Tony should take a page out of espn's book and start making up "death threats" like they did for Thamel.  This is going to be an all time embarrassing scene.

These fucking assholes put…

These fucking assholes put up videos every single day about the "sign stealing scandal" once that story broke.  They did everything they could to convince that pathetic fanbase that it was sign stealing that turned the tide in this rivalry.  They dug their own grave on this one.  Michigan won and they have to walk that all back.  Fuck em!

A "disgusted" Bert Beilema…

A "disgusted" Bert Beilema is about to go 5-7

Have any of these so called …

Have any of these so called "death threats" been confirmed by the way?  My guess is it was all made up.  I mean who is sending death threats to pete fucking thamel???

Thanks for the laughs Ryan!

Thanks for the laughs Ryan!

After a month of hearing…

After a month of hearing stuff like this, this team will finally gets their chance to respond on Saturday, and there is no biggest statement they could possibly make than winning that game without their head coach.  I just have to imagine this team is as locked in as they possibly could be.  After everything thats been said and done, it is finally in their hands to make a statement.

Head coach suspended for…

Head coach suspended for rest of regular season, their school hangs them out to dry, a coach fired, ncaa interviews players during the week, a textbook trap game on the road and you lose 2 OL and your best WR in game, I would say any win is a great win given the unprecedented circumstances.  This team showing a tremendous amount of toughness.

Paying him under the table…

Paying him under the table but then he buys tickets in his own name.  That doesnt add up.  Although, faulty logic hasnt stopped anyone from taking a stance against Michigan in this matter.

I cannot evaluate nfl talent…

I cannot evaluate nfl talent and which guys will look good in the eyes of scouts by any means.  I just know Brugler is extremely good at this, and he is basically projecting JJ as a mid-first round pick.  As a Michigan fan I obviously want JJ to stay another year, but it would be foolish to think a player is going to pass up the nfl draft when they are likely to go first round.  It happened last year with Jared Verse and Olu Fashanu staying in college despite being projected as Top 10 picks in 2023, and maybe NIL changing that decision for JJ too, but I'm not banking on it.

Dane Brugler to me is far…

Dane Brugler to me is far and away the best draft analyst out there, especially in the early stages of the draft process in identifying which players will eventually be drafted in the 1st round.  He is extremely good at this and the analyst that is most aligned with how nfl scouts see things.  He put up a Big Board in early November that had McCarthy 16th overall and the #3 QB on the board.  For comparison sake, he had Quinn Ewers 45th overall and then just a few days ago there were a lot of rumors that Ewers would be returning to Texas.

If Pettiti really wanted to…

If Pettiti really wanted to punish Michigan he should have suspended James Franklin.  He singlehandedly blew that game.

This will go down as one of…

This will go down as one of the dumbest things ever done in the history of college football.  A conference sabotaging its most prized asset in unprecedented fashion without having any evidence of what actually happened.  Absolutely unbelievable.

The BIG has besmirched their…

The BIG has besmirched their coach.  They will demand satisfaction.

One of the dumbest fucking…

One of the dumbest fucking things I have ever seen in my life.  They are going to get sued and they are goin to lose. Pettiti's days as commissioner are numbered and they very well might have just set the wheels in motion for Michigan to leave the conference.

Because when "greatest…

Because when "greatest scandal in college football history" turns out to be just some random psycho vacuum refurbisher doing this on his own, what other option do you have?

This touches on my big…

This touches on my big question with the whole sign stealing thing.  In 2021 the NCAA almost eliminated the advanced scouting rule, citing it offered a minimum competitive advantage.  On top of that, there will almost certainly be rule changes in the future that either no longer prohibit advanced scouting and/or there will be mics put in helmets that effectively negate sign stealing practices.  So, how can the NCAA possibly give Michigan an sort of major punishment for this when by their own actions they are saying these rules are pointless?

These coaches just cant help…

These coaches just cant help themselves.  Its just way to easy to explain away a loss to sign stealing, no matter how insignificant and avoidable it is.

We are going to be bullied into suspending our coach because of guys like this? FUCK. THAT.

The Big Ten has to have some…

The Big Ten has to have some evidence so damning it is willing to bypass an official NCAA investigation.  At the same time, Michigan is the one school that actually takes this stuff seriously and has proven they will self-impose punishment if need be (hello joke of a 3-game suspension for burgergate).  Yet, Michigan is not suspending Harbaugh.  Something has to give here.  Both sides cant be right in this instance.  I honestly have to believe Michigan here, a school that has proven time and again they will not let an athletic program tarnish the university's reputation.

Correction: the university will not tolerate an athletic program tarnishing the school's reputation

Good!  Fuck Petitti and fuck…

Good!  Fuck Petitti and fuck the rest of the Big Ten.  Absolute fucking joke they wanted something to happen before a formal investigation is completed.
