I think he survives. This is year 2 for him and he’s Steve’s hire. BUT next year is the year for him.

The fact that the Wings are in the playoff race is great, it just sucks that they haven’t been playing well to get in.

Kind of like last year when they were in the hunt but got beat badly by the Sens and all hell broke loose after those games. This year the advertising patch comes on and all hell broke loose.

Hopefully the Wings sucking means that Michigan hockey wins the national championship this year. Just like Michigan men’s basketball helped football.

I work in Toledo so when it was time for everything to go dark, we all went outside to experience it. Very cool and weird feeling. Once the sun came back out, we went back to work. 
Traffic was horrible but it only added another 15 minutes for me to get home but I’m glad I didn’t have to go any further because from what I saw ahead of me was awful.

And with the patch, what do the fans gain? Tickets, merchandise, food and parking never seem to stay the same or become cheaper.

If the Wings had the patch at the beginning of the season I roll my eyes and think that that’s how it is now, ads galore.

Why add it mid season? Everyone knows players are superstitious. So when something changes it has to be weird. Right? I mean players don’t want others to touch their sticks or gloves. Players are notorious superstitious.

Again, it’s not the patches fault but what changed? The patch 

It’s like when people on this blog keep saying that men’s basketball was sucking so football could thrive
