I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again.  Go 3-1 in the remaining games and things will work themselves out.  And, If they don’t, who gives a fuck...an extra win in B1G tourney will result in a higher seed in the important tourney anyways.  Just win the games in front of you and let the rest sort itself out organically.  At this time, we are playing with house money building for next year anyways.  Go Blue!

And I would also state, everyone needs to quit worrying about what Coach B is doing next.  He ain’t here, so who f’n cares!  Let’s throw shade at Coach Mattison for leaving, but praise B for leaving at a much more inopportune time and at a level that is much higher than losing a position coach (be it to the worst rival or not).  Fuck em both.  If you want to WIN, get over the past, embrace the present, and build toward the future!  Go Blue!

you are probably right.  Im just banking on expect the unexpected like the way this whole conference has gone this season.

Great road win today! I think they finish 3-1 and finish in the top 4 of the conference.  Just don’t get into a free throw contest with WI and we beat them easily. OSU will be tough on the road, but we’ve got some momentum, confidence, and DEPTH.  Go Blue!

Word around A2 is that there was someone of high importance in the vehicle and that's why this was squashed by a higher authority.  I won't name names and perpetuate what I don't know as fact, but let's just say the Secret Service is the higher authority that I'm referring to.

Portillos is more than just dogs.  The Italian Beef is good (definitely not Chicago’s best), especially for a drive through and convenient location.  My favorite Portillos is at Memorial Stadium in Champagne...very convenient next to a craft beer booth!!!!

The censors weren’t up to the task.  Heard multiple F-Bombs from players during the timeouts.  Overall, not a bad format to be used at times during the game.

1). It seems Juwan will play whomever is deserving, so the minutes will work themselves out.  Good problem to have if you ask me.

2). I’ll take top players over scheme any day of the week.  It’s truly amazing how many wins Coach B had over more talented teams, but it’s not a sustainable model to overachieve like he did.  Also proves that you just gotta be hot at the right time.  How many times did we have to see the team throw the ball around, instead of having at least one guy who could create their own shot in critical moments.  (Trey Burke being the exception).  That seems to be an issue this year as well.  We’ll see though.  I’m excited to see how this season and the future pans out.

I’ve never heard of such a…

I’ve never heard of such a thing either until people on this board have brought it up.  There is such a term as “Recruited Walk-On”, which leads me to believe you could take an official visit and still walk on.  All walk-on means is that there is no financial obligations by the school.  The only thing remotely close would be in communication between the coaches and the prospect of being honest and saying don’t waste one of YOUR official visits here if you are looking for a scholly....We want you, but can’t pay for you.

Do what you need to do.  I…

Do what you need to do.  I usually just wear a MI shirt that says F OSU, or Worst State Ever, or Ohio Sucks...etc.  I don’t buy stuff from other schools, but if LSU happens to be playin OSU, I wear purple...etc.

Shea played a great game. …

Shea played a great game.  He should be the starter.  I admit that I’ve both questioned that and have reinforced that.  However, will say, that he hasn’t “turned the corner”.  His balls are still a lot of times off target and he doesn’t read the field properly.  I am not saying D-Mac or Joe would do better.  Just looking ahead (and kind of in retrospect) as to how those little nuances in a close game could cost the team against good competition.  Regardless, great win today!  Go Blue!  Fuck State!  Beat IU!

Their parking lot isn't…

Their parking lot isn't sprawling, but it's an average size church parking lot where'd you'd easily get the vehicles in there.  It's been a while since I've been in there, but in my cases, I've usually just parked there and walked over to Pioneer and hung out with friends that have season tailgating passes, so I don't really recall if any are able to do a big setup.  Maybe look up their phone number and give them a call to see if they can accommodate all that you have.  Best of Luck!  Go Blue!

Trinity Lutheran Church on…

Trinity Lutheran Church on Stadium (several blocks west of Pioneer) is my go to backup for if/when Pioneer is closed to gameday cash sales.  What you are seeing online is that there are no RV gameday cash Sale spots available.  The gameday cash spots for regular autos are still available as of now, but advanced spots are sold out for MSU.  It will really depend on how much snow melts and/or they can get cleared by Saturday.

What they do at Lambeau…

What they do at Lambeau field is they put chutes down the aisle ways down to the field and pay community members to go there and shovel out a row or 2 into the chute and then remove the snow from the field with heavy equipment.

I took a friend who is a ND fan and he was amazed at how loud it was.  I would agree that it was as loud/louder than I am accustomed to.

Stayed dry during tailgating at Pioneer, but holy shit was it a swamp after the game.

I was completely soaked from neck to toe during the game once we were politely asked to sit down.  The rain gear I had was fine, but the wind would drive the rain inside my hood or inside my sleeves and ultimately drip down my entire body.  Being wet for several hours was worth witnessing the beat down in the raucous atmosphere.   Wasn't worth it to my ND friend though!  Ha Ha.

All the games I've been to,…

All the games I've been to, during pregame tosses between Shea and Dylan, Dylan appears to throw the better ball.  Appears to have a better velocity and definitely a tighter spiral.  Now, does that translate into game action?....I guess we won't know without him getting more in game experience.  Same goes for running the full offense.  Hopefully, we'll be able to get some good looks at him in the coming weeks to see what we've got for next year.

At the game again today. …

At the game again today.  Same story, different opponent.  All I wanted (again) was a consistent good effort with no turnovers and a padded lead so we could see a good amount of game action for D-Mac or Milton....we couldn’t even pad that.  The D got hosed again by inept offense, turnovers, and some very badly missed calls.  I’ll say it once again...Shea has no command of this offense and it’s gonna be too little too late when we get our asses handed to us in the next 2 weeks.  I do realize Shea probably gives us the best chance to win, but when best chance to win against bad teams is the bar, you fold up and prep for the future.  This team is not fun to watch and will be embarrassed in the coming weeks.  I have not given up, and will always bleed blue, but reality is reality...prep for the future...Go Blue!

I'll be in section 107.  This is on Michigan's Sideline and as someone else pointed out, where most visiting teams buy tickets.

I don’t care if D-Mac or…

I don’t care if D-Mac or Milton aren’t “ready” yet.  The only way they become ready is with game reps.  Shea is the biggest hinderance to this offense and it’s not even close.  And by association it hurts the defense as well.  We all know too well that Harbaugh will be a game or two too late when/if he finally makes a change.

Fair point. My bill at Zola…

Fair point. My bill at Zola was between $50-$60 after tip and I spent around $30 after tip at Grizzly Peak.  When tailgate parking costs me $50, I could easily spend $30-$40 on beverages and food for tailgating.  I could also drink a lot cheaper stuff at Zola or limit it to 1 drink and spend less time at Grizzly Peak...etc.  The possibilities are endless, but the people I'm entertaining usually dictate my day...especially when it's my wife with me....yikes!

Last weekend, when all the…

Last weekend, when all the big tailgate areas were shutdown due to weather, I went with my alternative to tailgating for noon games....  (I come from NW of Ann Arbor, so I never want to be east of Main St, that way I can sneak out the back roads and avoid the heavy traffic congestion).  On the corner of W. William St. & S. Ashley St., there is an outdoor lot that costs around $10-$12 for say 8 hours and it's about a mile to the Stadium.  Get some brunch and drinks at Cafe Zola and then go next door to Grizzly Peak for a couple beers.  Grab a roadie for the mile walk and good to go.  You'll spend less than the amount of money you'd pay for tailgating spot and beverages/food for tailgating.  Good luck!  Go Blue!

You can get Pioneer pass in…

You can get Pioneer pass in advance (I don't know how to), but you can pay at any of the entrances also.   The only stipulation to this is, like last weekend when it is too wet, Pioneer limits tailgating to pre-passes only.  The other thing I should mention is that RV pre-passes are sold out through the year, so if you have an RV, Pioneer might not be an option.

I feel the same way I did…

I feel the same way I did about the WI game (before the game), in that it's mostly a big game in the sense that the team has not been playing up to expectations or talent level.  Because they shit the bed in Madison, they've now got even more to prove AND they don't have another mulligan to lose another B1G conference game.  I also feel it's a big game or "must win" because it's at home.  The way the team has played (most of the time), every game on the docket is now big, regardless of how it looks at the end of the season or next season looking in hindsight.

At the game today....Much…

At the game today....Much much better execution on offense, but still a long ways away from being a contending offense.  My observations are...

1) Shea needs to read the defense better (recurring theme through 4 games)

2) Formations are very predictable

3)Tempo/clock management is still horrible

4) Power running out of shotgun is just a waste of a down (see #2)

5)  Get the ball to the playmakers outside or on quick crossing routes (see 1-4)

In summation, there was visible progress today, but it’s Rutger!  If they are able to improve on these things vs Iowa, they should win.  Get the young guys in the rotation on defense to build better depth as they (for the most part) didn’t get much pressure on the qb until late.  They can take IA if they actually improve over this week of practice...even slightly.  A blowout win after a dud can only help, so job well done today.

I second this notion.  I've…

I second this notion.  I've been living in WI for about 18 years (Lived in MI for 21 years), and you're spot on.  I've learned to despise all fans of WI sports (pro and collegiate) for this exact reason.  When I first moved here, nobody gave a rats ass about the Brewers and quite frankly didn't even know they were in the National League, and now it's like all I see anywhere.  The 2017 game in Madison was the same when Peters got taken out...it was disgusting.  After the game (and pretty much all year long for that matter), people will see me in MI gear and give me the teary eyed gesture and make obscene comments.  I know some buckeyes around this state that are more reasonable than Badger fans.  No, I am not saying every single person, and yes, I know all fan bases have their fair share of douchebags, but it's pretty f'n bad here.

Excellent post!  I think the only reason people might be scared off of this concept is they gave Brady Hoke a shot and it ultimately failed.  But I wholeheartedly agree with your post 100%!

Jim and Don are too…

Jim and Don are too predictable with their script and very rarely make in game adjustments.  The offense when humming can still be stopped with ease when their limited formations and plays are all on film.  The defense when humming can be had (even by much lesser teams).  These guys can both coach, but I feel it’s their inability (or arrogance) to not adapt and make changes that make the team stagnant.  There isn’t a one man answer that can change it (i.e. Josh Gattis).  The whole concept of the glory days of BO needs to change.  You actually can have a different coaching mindset that adapts to current times and still embrace the past as the past.

I would agree with most…

I would agree with most others here that it's not a "must win", but it's a very important game to see how they can stack up against a quality opponent on the road.  Also, I am anxious to see if there's any improvement on the sloppy ball handling, assignments, reads, and if nothing else, help define the offense's identity.  This game should also tell us if the defense is for real.  More than anything, I'd like to see them play a clean game and show us something consistently positive, whether that results in a win or loss.  Who knows what happens to Wisconsin throughout the remainder of the season, so we can't put all the stock in this one game, even though it's the most important so far.

Central Waters has some very…

Central Waters has some very good limited release beers, but may be hard to find.  New Glarus has some decent beers and their flagship Spotted Cow is (to me) a run of the mill beer, but it's not distributed outside of WI, so it's a huge seller to out of state visitors.  Lord knows how many cases I've bootlegged back to MI for friends and family. To me it's just a good bloody mary chaser.  I am a bigger fan of the MI, MN, & IL breweries, as most WI beers are brewed for quantity drinking, but don't get me wrong, there are some good solid ones.

In Madison, Karben 4, Ale Asylum, & One Barrel would be my recommendations of local breweries to try.  Otherwise, there is a Hop-Cat in Madison, so you'd be able to find a wide selection there.

I had just started my final semester of college.  I woke up early that day, as I had an eye doctor apt. before classes.  While watching the news coverage at my apartment, my eye doctor called and asked if I wanted to re-schedule.  I kept the appointment and after my eye exam, my eye doctor and I watched some more coverage from his office and really didn't say too much to each other.  I left there, didn't go to class, and just went home to my parents house where we were glued to the tv the rest of the evening.

GB fans have given up hope…

GB fans have given up hope as they never had hope for him.  GB is used to squandering 1st round picks and drafting prospects that never pan out.  So, it’s not as much a shot at Gary as much as it is a shot at the organization.  Many felt it was a reach at 12, and I would agree that it was.  While highly athletic, Gary never put anything on tape that made you think top draft pick, let alone 1st round.  Gary will have to fight to get fan support in GB as he’s already behind the eight ball with the free agent signings looking good so far and Gary being sidelined by nagging injuries and constant hand on hips during open training camp and workouts.  Maybe this is a good thing as it won’t amount to a huge amount of pressure on him.  It’s way too early to tell, but around GB area, the fans are pretty sure this is another wasted 1st round draft pick.

It’s always a great time in…

It’s always a great time in Madison...especially if you like beer and fattening foods!  Hit me up [email protected] if you need any advice on things as I live not too far away and have spent plenty of time there.  Ive got a hotel for the weekend, but haven’t decided if Im gonna go to the game yet.  My season ticket holding Vadger (intentional misspell)  friends are not being friendly to me with prices this year and the secondary market sucks so far.

Have been to Camp Randall…

Have been to Camp Randall for MI games many times (I currently live about 120 miles from Madison).  This year was different than most as there were some tickets for the MI game available to the public, but they also put a huge premium on them.  That's probably why they didn't sell out to the donors and alumni.  The secondary market is pretty poor if you ask me, but if you've never been there, Madison is fun.  I usually see pockets of MI fans throughout with no designated area.  I usually stay in a hotel and walk/uber to Camp Randall and just take in many of the bars on Regent St. for pre-gaming, unless I come across a group of fellow Wolverines that are hanging out somewhere.

Been @Illinois, @Indiana numerous times and both seem to have their fair share of Wolverine fans (no matter where you are sitting).  @Northwestern & @ Minnesota are the same as well.  I will be going to Illinois this year as well and I've always had luck sitting on the visitor sideline section 103-107.  Grange Grove (Corner of 1st & Kirby) has public tailgating (without vehicles), food trucks, beer garden...etc.  Will be my first time in Grange Grove, but Northwestern just started a similar thing and I had a good time with many other Wolverines last year.

Have not been @PSU, or @ Maryland yet.

Braylon was so much fun to…

Braylon was so much fun to watch in his days at MI!  Was truly hoping for his pro career to pan out, but just never found the right situation, and he made some poor comments/decisions that seem to have derailed his post ball career.  It’s too bad...because, the dude had some major talent!

As a Cubs fan, I’m glad to take Nick at Wrigley.  Defense won’t be a problem in the friendly confines and lord knows they can use some doubles or even singles!  As a Tigers fan, one of these moves over the last few years has to pan out...right?!?!?

It was 1993 and I was…

It was 1993 and I was visiting Green Bay, and staying at the Embassy Suites. I was on the 2nd floor of the hotel waiting outside the elevator to go up to my floor on the 4th floor.  The elevator opens, I walk in and there in the corner stands Reggie White.  I think my jaw hit the floor and I didn't press an elevator button. As a 13 year old I didn't really know what to say or do.  He asked what floor I was going to and I saw 8 was pressed, so I just said 8.  I mustered up the courage to ask if he's gonna be a Packer.  He said he was talking to the organization and that God will guide his decision.  We made a little small talk for the rest of the ride and then I immediately ran down the stairwell to get to the skywalk to go to the mall to buy a packers hat and a sharpie.  The next morning my family and I were in the lobby (without my hat and sharpie) and Reggie comes through, so I grabbed a newspaper and got the Green Bay Packers section signed by him.
