No, but that is a great beer. I've had it.
I'm talking good old Natty Light that has ice crystals in it. Slam a few and move on to something better a little later.

Do you rock it or neat?
I honestly like whisky better with a rock or 2 the older I get. I really think it brings out flavors I don't normally taste neat. I'm starting to believe in distilled water too. I'm convinced there are great flavors in whiskey that we don't get when drinking it straight. Blasphemy for a lot of Whisky drinkers.

Put a drop or two of water in the neat wiskey and that's enough to open it up.

Scotch experts recommend putting a couple drops of water in it. For the exact reason you mentioned.

Depends. I can't bring myself to water down an islay scotch ever. It just feels wrong to do it even if I'm drinking something cask strength or really smokey like Octomore. I also tend to avoid them until it's cold though.
When it's hot as balls out like it is most of the time in the South, I prefer bourbon of 100 proof and higher with an ice cube if the sun's up. Neat when it gets dark. If I need to get rid of so so bourbon I'll just dump it into some ice cold lemonade with some muddled mint.
Sooooo..... Just drink what you want the way you want.

Our home is in Atherton, but Davis for 2nd and up in Auburn foothills (right now). Wife's job has us(mostly her) moving around here in NoCal. I prefer the open spaces of land, but Hot as hell.
Supposed to be high 60s on Monday! Can't wait!

On our way into town, we saw the Louisville Cardinals football rig pulling into the stadium. For some reason, they are playing Western Kentucky here in Nashville tomorrow. Not your normal neutral site game.
