Will ESPN Gameday come to the Michigan vs. OSU game? Sign ideas?

They can't just not come to a 1 vs. 2 or 1 vs. 3 game, right? The sign possibilities are gold here:

-Saving Cryin' Ryan

-Pete Thamel cites Wikipedia

-Photoshopping Tony Pettiti's head on to the ref that slapped Mike Weber's ass

Urban with his barmaid grandchild (bouncy, bouncy). Pet titi Sean Connery SNL character picture below it. Images of all the leagues other known sign stealers just to be fair.

Look at the schedule.. it’s the last week of the regular season.. ESPN loves certain teams, and the squad from Columbus is one team they are all over.

Of course, ESPN will be in A2.

It’s the only matchup between two Top 25 teams that Saturday.   Oregon v Oregon State, also a pair of Top 25 teams, is being played on Friday night.

Oh, I can promise you Thamel will be sitting in his home here in Boston if ESPN goes to Ann Arbor.  My guess is they'll just go somewhere else to save themselves the optics because a potential #1/#2 matchup is nice but when people are chanting "asshole" at you for 4 hours it sort of hurts the presentation.

No. After the way Rece Davis has gone full bat-shit crazy on this matter and lost his impartiality, they can stay away. They'll go to Alabama Auburn anyway. If they do come, I would suggest massive protests and air horns whenever Rece is talking.

I assume they vet the signs. So you’ll have to do some real cloak and dagger stuff to get anything into the staging area, let alone on screen for more than a few seconds.

Just make their production impossible.

If they come for the Game, no one should give them the time of day.  Go to the Fox booth and show signs/support there.

ESPN's relevance dropping at an alarming rate is a great thing to watch!

There are a lot of distractions right now for the players. I'd be more concerned with Penn State. Their offense at home will probably look decent, and their defense is lights out. If our OL or JJ give up big negative plays (pick 6's), drive killing sacks/turnovers... this is gonna be a struggle.

This has been the game all year that made me most nervous. I was feeling confident about it until this sign crap continued to snowball. The team, despite us thinking they'd come out focused/sharp/executing, looked a little off against Purdue.

I hope that was some rust/bye week stuff, but I'm not entirely sure. The starters gave up a methodical 4th quarter TD drive... not that that's insane, but Purdue is a dumpster fire and at times looked competent against our D. Our offense would have put up 80 if JJ wasn't off. Again, hope just some game speed rust

I doubt they show up. They have to know that with the exception of Desmond, every single one of them is going to get booed into oblivion the minute they talk about anything, much less the scandal itself.

ESPN will decide its bad optics for people to tune in and watch their broadcasters being booed for three straight hours, so they'll go to the Apple Cup, the Iron Bowl, or somewhere else. Wouldn't be surprised to see Thamel put out some garbage about "sources say our broadcasters fear for their safety" or something like that.

Watched ESPN this morning. Greenberg had that dipshit Finebaum on and not one mention of how rampant sign stealing is in football. It was all negative Michigan stuff. I wouldn’t let them anywhere near the campus.
