My personal coincidence-IM 38 now, so I was 12 last time we won it all. My boys are 12 and 13 right now. I also wore the Woodson jersey I purchased from Mden in 1997 last night! Still in great shape and fits (i bought it big).

I'll take it a step further:

Both players of the game wear #2.

Sort of OT:

A good (OSU fan) friend of mine buys a Suite for the BIG10 championship every year in hopes that OSU wins THE GAME. The past 2 years he has sold it, and is looking to do the same this year. I let him know I would share the info on here on the off chance that a group of UM fans would like to go in together on it. Here are the details:

Lucas Oil Stadium

Suite 39A

21 total tickets

5 parking passes

$14,500.00 ($690.48 per ticket).

email [email protected] if interested.

Will be posted on fan2fan sticky as well.

Whats funny is how the narrative for these folks will change, depending on the outcome.

If OSU wins: " See what happens when you cant steal our signs?" "I told you the last 2 years don't count"." Back to reality for sCUM"

If OSU loses: "This loss doesnt count either because once a cheater always a cheater. How do we know they havnt cheated in other ways?-are they bugging our coaches headsets?' We had to spend extra practice time changing our signs. We had to use wrist bands, and that changes our offensive pace.

"But if they lose again in…

"But if they lose again in ten days, that goes out the window"

Wrong my friend. On 11 warriors, a large percentage of their fans are already putting disclaimers out there about this years game being tainted as well. Here are a couple of arguments I read; Im paraphrasing but;

-"Im still not convinced that michigan isnt going to cheat this year via cameras in the big house picking up their signals"

-"Theres no possible way that OSU can change ALL of their signals before the game"

-"Believe that Michigan has copies of their practice footage"

Chemistry with this team is…

Chemistry with this team is on point. They are unselfish and are a lot of fun to watch. Hunter was great but the flow of the game is better without him.

“You either die a hero or…

“You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”.

would love to hear that quote on the next hype video!

So the remaining 'TBD' games…

So the remaining 'TBD' games are:

@ Nebraska

@ Minny

Indiana

@ Penn St

@ Maryland

Since Indiana is the game prior to the back to back night games against MSU and Purdue AND Penn State is the game following, I assume both of those will be a noon or 3:30pm.

What are the odds we see any other night games on the schedule? Nebraska? Minnesota?

At first glance, I thought that they were putting a screen over top of the block M so that fans going to restrooms and concession wouldn't miss the action. Although I do think that having something like that would be cool, I would hate to cover up the block M.

Does this apply to children as well? Both my wife and I are vaxed however our boys (10 and 11) are not. Will they need a test?

Fun Fact- Ben graduated from the same small high school that I did in small town Chillicothe, Oh. As Jr High kids, we looked up to Ben so much, as playing D1 football isn't something that happens in our area. THEN he had a long NFL career, which was even more incredible. He and his family are top notch! His nephew and my youngest son go to school together (same school that we both went to) and play ball together. Trying to arrange a time for him to come speak to our 5th grade basketball team over Christmas break! His hometown is proud of him, and the kids all look up to him. This is super cool! Go Blue!

Thanks for the advice. The boys are 10 and 11. This will be all of our first time going to the OSU/Mich game. We are planning on getting down to pioneer around 7am-(I hope that is early enough to get a decent spot and set up.) Their mom and I always enjoy watching the band over on hoover, and then follow them into the stadium. I never got to have these experiences as a kid, so i cant wait to give this to give this memory to them!

Where would one find one of these? I'd like to buy one to hang right above the steps leading down to my basement.

Is it possible that JM…

Is it possible that JM worked his ass off in the off season to win the job? Maybe the 2nd string competition was extremely close last year? I don't think we should automatically assume its a bad sign that JM beat out DM. In my opinion last year DM didnt look great outside of running the ball.  I wonder if he had the edge over Miltion last year because of his understanding of the playbook, and offense despite Joe having the better overall tools, and now Joe has matured a year, and has caught up to Dylan on that front. Dylan is a year ahead of Joe (correct?) so that that theory could make sense.

College Football's National…

College Football's National Championship for Sega. I thought that the gameplay was super fast (for that time).

Spin move was out of control. If you tapped the button fast enough you could literally spin your way off of everyone!

Moving your DE out a little, and timing the snap almost always resulted in picking off a pitch for 6!

Regardless of where I stand…

Regardless of where I stand on the OPs post, the Marty Blazer take is lazy. He has no relation to Michigan Football, and was known to try to pay any player (regardless of school) that was going to be an NFL player, in order to gain their business once they made the league. He was not paying players to attend certain universities, therefore Marty Blazer was not a reason why talent would pick Michigan over another university.

He was not a fan of the university, not a friend of the program, a booster, alumni, etc. He was a business man (in Pennsylvania) I believe who was latching on to anyone he could (again regardless of school) in order to cash in big once they made the league.

I will end the back and…

I will end the back and forth with this. You are a grown man or woman, who is so obsessed with his /her favorite football team full of 18-20 year olds so much that not only do you partake in posting on 11warriors, but you search other football teams message boards and read 100s of posts, and then actually engage in a back and forth exchange with them. What does that tell us about the kind of person you are? Here's my opinion.

You are either a college kid who is sitting there drinking a few beers and getting a laugh trolling other teams fans (fair enough, I was a stupid college kid once too). OR you seriously have so little going on in your real life, that this is all that you have.

By all means, believe what you want. 60% of coaches in an anonymous poll said that they believe 0-10% of college programs cheat. When 60% of the 5 stars end up at 5 programs (out of over 100), I guess its a crazy leap to believe that any of those programs are the ones doing the cheating. Its probably the Akron's, Central Michigan's, and Idaho's that those coaches believe are the culprits.

You are merging to different…

You are merging to different conversations. Was the Chase Young story Bull Shit? Hell yeah it was. It doesn't pass the smell test whatsoever.

When you posted that Marty Blazer confessed to paying a Michigan player, did I once stand up for that player? I did not.

1)  We have no clue who the person was that gave Chase Young money. At least if the Marty Blazer story is true, we know that he has absolutely no affiliation or rooting interest in Michigan Football.

2) The topic at hand is again, paying kids to come play football at your osu. Common sense tells me that its probably going on. Tress had these issues at Youngstown State. He had players accepting cars and large amounts of cash. He then brings his "look the other way" philosophy to osu. Surprise, same shit happens at osu. Tattoos and selling stuff was probably the just the tip of the iceberg. I live just south of Columbus, and it was well know that Jack Maxton Chevrolet provided cars for players back in those days. Mark Titus from the OSU bball team ball team has even written that the cars the players were driving were ridiculous.

Tress is out, and in comes Urban. Please be honest with yourself once today and admit that everyone believes the SEC cheats. Correct? Where does Urban come from? Oh yeah the SEC, and a Florida team that was plagued with questionable characters. Do you think Urban comes to OSU and puts his foot down and says, "guys, we are going to clean all of this up" we are going to do things the right way from here on out". OR does he just go with the flow, because this is all too familiar with him.

For the record, I am in the camp that says, its time for Michigan to start getting dirty, because in my opinion, that is the only way to be Elite in todays college football landscape. Please stop defending it, because I am not looking at you saying shame on osu, I am saying "okay its time to start playing the same game".

What Michigan fans are…

What Michigan fans are talking about when accusing OSU of cheating is Boosters and local businessmen influencing recruits by paying them money cars etc in exchange for them committing to the university. NOT the same as an advisor (that doesn't give a shit where a player is attending) paying players already committed to a university in exchange for their business once they make it in the NFL.

I will say this again, not one time have I read anything blaming refs for the last 2 losses. Not once. I've actually read on here that if anything 2018 favored Michigan when it comes to the refs.

#2 Did you even read the…

#2 Did you even read the article that you posted under #2? The Financial Advisor paid players from various schools, in hope to gain them as a client when the go to the NFL. He did NOT pay players to attend a certain university. Please explain how Michigan gained by a Financial Advisor in Pennsylvania paying someone who is already enrolled at UofM in order to gain them as a client?

#3- I have not read a single post stating the refs screwed Michigan this year or last. 2016-Absolutely was a screw job, intentional or not.

I would feel so embarrassed if I took time out of my life to read through 100s of posts and comments on my rivals website, and then took time to engage and comment. I hope for your sake that you don't tell anyone that you do this because its pathetic. I am ashamed I spend as much time as I do on this site, and I am a Michigan fan!

Jesus man,     get      it      together

OSU-12 5 Stars

Michigan-5 5…

OSU-12 5 Stars

Michigan-5 5 Stars

You were close on Michigan, a little off on OSU haha.

My problem with this, is the information is totally wrong and misleading. You know buckhole69 is reading that and thinking, "See we dont' cheat, you guys are recruiting better than us and we still whooped your ass"

Actually Bucknut36- Tress…

Actually Bucknut36- Tress had issues at Youngstown State as well. Players getting 10k in cash, cars too. He is the one who brought the "look the other way culture" to OSU. Do you honestly believe in your heart that it stopped with tattoos, and selling stuff? What about Jack Maxton Chevrolet just allowing players to drive around brand new vehicles decked out with rims? Even your very own Mark Titus has stated that when he was in school and on the bball team several players were driving around campus in ridiculous vehicles. Then Urban comes in from the $EC and he obviously goes with flow because, well, that's how the SEC operated as well.

I've read anonymous coaching polls that have been put on on the subject of college football and cheating and 60% of the coaches polled believed that 0-10% of the college football programs are cheating. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to take everything I have just said, and combine that with OSU being on an historic run. ADD in the face that over the past 3 years there have been 90 something 5 star recruits and 55 of them have went to only 5 programs..... hmm those 5 schools are LSU,BAMA,GEORGIA, CLEMSON and OSU.

So let me ask you this. If 60% of coaches believe there is cheating at less than 10% of college programs, and the vast majority of 5 star recruits go to only 5 schools. Are you saying that OSU is the outlier in that group 5 and is the only one recruiting with the big boys but doing it the right way?

ESPN put up a stat during…

ESPN put up a stat during this segment that stated between 2016-2019, Michigan has had 71 4/5 star recruits, and OSU has had 69.

WHAT?!

I looked up the 247 rankings and this is what I found:

Michigan-58

OSU-72

Someone in the media then ran with this (cant remember name) and put that stat up on twitter, and along with this, stated in the same time Michigan has has 4 1st and 2nd round picks while OSU with "less big time recruits" has had 18.

+1. Couldn't agree more.

This was a fantastic diary…

This was a fantastic diary OP. Saturday after the game, I stated that Michigan needs to start paying players. I did not attack OSU or judge them in anyway, however it triggered some OSU fans, which led to a heated argument. It was hard to defend my stance on that matter, without cold hard facts, in the chamber. This is good stuff.

I love that you have been a member of a rival online community for almost 10 years now. I have to imagine that you are a miserable person. Your obsession with Michigan football runs deep. I hope life gets better for you man, seriously.

Its noon on a Wednesday and not only are you scrolling MGOBLOG, but reading a thread about how to deal with shit talking ohio st fans. What is wrong with you? There has to be something better or more productive that you could be doing with your life than this?

I can relate OP. I always…

I can relate OP. I always play it coy. We have no legs to stand on with the current state of the rivalry. Talk OSU up, "you guys should beat us, with all that talent, etc etc". They want you to be the "arrogant Michigan fan that looks down on OSU". Be a sarcastic prick, and compliment their team, and then if/when we beat them, just smile and give the Michael Jordan shoulder shrug!

Born in Michigan, grew up…

Born in Michigan, grew up and still live just south of Columbus. I am 34, and basically from my birth year until I was 18, Michigan won 13/18. Such a great time to grow up being a Michigan fan! Now, it seems that NOBODY in Ohio remembers anything prior to 2000. Its like it doesn't exist. People my age and younger either don't even realize that Michigan ever had the upper hand OR choose to dismiss it. In their mind Ohio State has owned Michigan forever.

Just this morning I wake up, open up social media and one of my OSU FB friends posted this:

"All we used to hear was "back in the day," or "when i was a kid.... LIES. Don't believe them.

FACT. Since 1928, Ohio State has had an advantage of 47-37-4."

First of all, its funny how they can conveniently decide what year the rivalry matters. Second- up until 2007 Michigan STILL had the advantage even if you use the starting point of 1928, so the people he is referring to that were saying "back in the day and when i was a kid" were correct!!!

This is the sort of thing that annoys me about Buckeye fans.
