I live in Minneapolis (unfortunately not attending the games!) St. Paul is a blast. Close to Xcel, Cosetta is great for some pizza and Parlour is great for a burger. The History Center is a really fun place to nerd out, depending on what you are in the mood for!
Feels like a win! I've always loved watching gymnastics in the Olympics, and seeing a rise in popularity from the UM team makes for a great way to follow the sport beyond just a check in every four years.
I'm never happy to see it not work out with a coach, but this is the right thing for the program and the university. Let's get things back on track. Go Blue!

Did K State hire a PI firm to investigate Iowa State? Did someone at Iowa State build a vast network of third parties to text the info along? Is there a vacuum clearing business involved somehow?
Others have said it wisely here. Michigan has an incredible culture and has done a great job retaining key players and identifying impactful transfers. NIL should prioritize that. Market forces might dictate that sometimes we need to dip into more NIL resources for freshman at key positions, that seems to be an area we are lacking.
But Jim seemed to understand how a locker room can be damaged by having players get paid huge amounts before doing anything on the field. I think we would be wise to not lose sight of that.
I also think we have been wise to spend money to retain players for another year prior to losing them for the draft. And specifically we have targeted players at positions where we can actually put forward a comparable package. We may not be able to raise the funds to keep people at positions that turn into highly regarded first round picks. But we can do so for positions like running back where the NFL is less likely to draft players earlier and less likely to pay them more.
Sources are now confirming both that Mike MacDonald is the favorite for the Chargers job and that Jim was interviewed solely as a reference for MacDonald.
The fact that I am the source and am not credible on this in the slightest is further irrelevant!
Love JUB, but it feels like there is some ambiguity. It doesn't sound to me like there is no draft of the contract, but more like the two sides have sent versions of it back and forth. So there is no "finished" contract because the two sides are working through it.
