SI confirms “Rivals” shared UM signals
Sports Illustrated just posted via Instagram “Two single-page documents listing detailed breakdowns of Michigan's deciphered signals were shared last season with a Big Ten school set to face the Wolverines, Si's @bypatforde and @ri_cfb report.”
I’m guessing the NCAA and B10 may decide to back off since this is just the tip of the iceberg as to the information UM has on everyone. I almost hope they press their luck so we can go scorched earth on them all. Defamation suits all around!

I went to grade school with Gale Sayers' daughter, who was also named Gale. She arrived every morning in a limo.

Worked for Electric Boat many moons ago, and could never get all the names down for the subs. They had their Class, which was named after the first boat of that class, (OHIO Class), but also were called Trident Class, and then had the number assigned to the boat. I remember making a spread sheet so I knew what ship and class they were talking about.
November 7th, 2023 at 11:15 AM ^
Damn, I own a hat from that sub. I should get it out of the glass case.

Demonstrating collusion indeed feels like a good 1st shot
November 7th, 2023 at 8:03 AM ^
The shot was meant to verify our position to the B1G and members. I'm not sure we have gone nuclear yet.

Near the end of the article:
“Tony told Michigan this was the worst scandal in Big Ten history, not including game fixing,” one Big Ten administrator told SI.
If Petitti actually said that, he’s letting the mob rule. Absurd.
November 7th, 2023 at 2:26 AM ^
Having charity football camps at Penn State so that Sandusky could rape children -- stuff like that happens in all conferences. BUT SIGN STEALING?! How will the conference move on forward after this? This is the worst scandal evvvvvvvver.
November 7th, 2023 at 4:27 AM ^
Seriously. Anyone who calls this the “worst scandal” should be committed for sociopathy. You have zero moral compass if you truly believe that. Zero.
November 7th, 2023 at 6:16 AM ^
Zero common sense, too
November 7th, 2023 at 7:58 AM ^
If it is truly that bad, then you probably don't want to be associated with Michigan. How about you just let Michigan walk from the conference?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
November 7th, 2023 at 10:03 AM ^
Common sense ain't so common.
November 7th, 2023 at 10:11 AM ^
For real! The perspective I see from sports is that raping kids, off the field this/that etc.. doesn't matter. The people don't matter. It's "The Sport" that matters. If it hurts(softens:just for you Ryan) the game It's an issue and shalt be punished. But off the field shenanigans ruining kids' lives: It's fine. Fucking backwards.
November 7th, 2023 at 12:13 PM ^
Yep - rape, child molestation, wife beating, destruction of evidence. No biggies.
November 7th, 2023 at 3:48 AM ^
What a dumb-ass comment. It looks like the Big 10 got a moron as its head.
November 7th, 2023 at 5:28 AM ^

Delany was a boob for other reasons, but he had a spine. He wouldn't have let this get this far.
November 7th, 2023 at 6:29 AM ^
For all we know, he's the one driving this bus. He and Petitti talk very regularly, according to one Petitti interview.
It was clear he hated Michigan when he was commissioner. Don't underestimate the pettiness of the former commissioner/comedian/masterbator...
November 7th, 2023 at 8:49 AM ^
Isn't he the guy that backed Ohio State to keep their players eligible for the 2010 season?
November 7th, 2023 at 6:55 AM ^
I think we need to update the graphic for the new guy.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:52 AM ^
And remove "comedian".
November 7th, 2023 at 8:58 AM ^
replace it with "Rape Apologist"?
November 7th, 2023 at 4:47 AM ^
I really really doubt that he said that. Because if he did he is incredibly stupid. This could be smoke he’s letting get out there so that the others think he have u of m hell.
November 7th, 2023 at 5:15 AM ^
I can't wait till December when Petitti has to hand Harbaugh his third B1G trophy. Let's all let him give him a warm Michigan welcome.

I am sure he will fear for his safety and decline to participate since we decoded the play the last two years.
November 7th, 2023 at 2:08 PM ^
Oh yes, that will be glorious
November 7th, 2023 at 5:35 AM ^
Hyperbole aside, the worst scandal in Big Ten history was when they sent Ohio State to the Rose Bowl after the 10 10 tie with Michigan in 1973. Another big 10 classic Fuck up.
November 7th, 2023 at 7:23 AM ^
We can thank our sister school in East Lansing for that.
As for this current fiasco, I've been wondering if Dantonio is involved. He has Ohio State coaching roots and connections and, after the tunnel incident last year, may be a manifestation of Sparty revenge.
Sheer speculation, of course. I'm not typically a conspiracy theorist.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:25 AM ^
Dantonio would certainly be involved if he could be. Remember a few years ago when they were playing PSU at 3:30 after The Game and MSU could have won the division if we upset OSU and MSU won, he was asked if he would be pulling for Michigan- he replied "Go Buckeyes."
November 7th, 2023 at 10:14 AM ^
You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to see the degree to which this whole fiasco has been orchestrated by one or more parties. It got way too big way too fast for it to just be organic.
November 7th, 2023 at 7:30 AM ^
And they’ve been out to get us ever since.
November 7th, 2023 at 6:02 AM ^
If Petitti said that, he is a total spineless, brainless talking piece that is persuaded by the mob.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:00 AM ^
There is no evidence to the contrary.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:26 AM ^
The shoe does indeed, appear to fit.
November 7th, 2023 at 6:06 AM ^
How did this cretin get this job? Seriously. This is mind boggling.
November 7th, 2023 at 7:57 AM ^
Hard to even call it a scandal, but last I checked in just this year we have Northwestern (not even sure what to call that cult activity) and Tucker at Michigan State. If that quote is accurate, Petitti must go.
November 7th, 2023 at 7:58 AM ^
A former TV exec sensationalizes? I know this is stereotyping, but I'm shock.... NOT....
November 7th, 2023 at 8:29 AM ^
So, what's he going to do about OSU and its refs fixing "The Spot" game, if that's even worse?
November 7th, 2023 at 8:41 AM ^
If he said that, he’s a goddamned moron and will be a complete disaster as commisioner.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:44 AM ^
“Tony told Michigan this was the worst scandal in Big Ten history, not including game fixing,”
If the Big Ten Commissioner said that about Michigan, we have no future in a conference with him leading it.
He either said it because he naively believes it, or he said it because he feels he has to appease the mob. Neither is a good look.
We can't be in a conference that is going to gratuitously gang up on us for no legitimate reason, with the freaking commissioner as the ringleader.
November 7th, 2023 at 8:45 AM ^
If Tony indeed said that, he will not make it in his current position. What an ignorant comment.
November 7th, 2023 at 9:20 AM ^
"Tony told Michigan this was the worst scandal in Big Ten history, not including game fixing," one Big Ten administrator told SI.
I think the key here is that this quote came from one of the ADs at the meeting Michigan was excluded from. Did our spineless Big Ten leader say it? Maybe. But even more likely it's anonymous anti-Michigan spin from MSUs AD.
November 7th, 2023 at 10:42 AM ^
Didn't he actually go to an Ivy League school? I guess their standards must have really dropped.
