Not the most impactful play,…

Not the most impactful play, but such an emotional moment:

O-JA-BO!

Don't give titties a bad…

Don't give titties a bad name like that.

That Touchdown Timothy blog…

That Touchdown Timothy blog is literally unbearable. I scanned it for a minute and it hurt my eyes with all the stupid all caps and hurt my brain with how annoying he is. Wow.

This is probably silly, but…

This is probably silly, but I can't get past the stupid dress shirt, tie, and quarter zip. It annoys the living hell out of me and my wife doesn't understand why. Either do I. I just hate it.

MINE'S THE SUN.

MINE'S THE SUN.

Welp, thanks for the mid…

Welp, thanks for the mid-summer, irrational panic before I see results. Keep stats like that to yourself kthx.

I noticed that I really only…

I noticed that I really only used it for non-football/basketball viewing. I watched multiple hockey games via B1G+ and that was about it. I'm sure if I was an avid softball/volleyball/baseball/etc. viewer, then it would've been very useful for about $10 a month.

We ordered a 9th gen iPad …

We ordered a 9th gen iPad (still has the home button) for only $250, which is a pretty solid deal. Also, a new Shark vacuum for $150 that was also a good deal compared to some other stores.

Didn't see much hate towards…

Didn't see much hate towards Michigan other than the conditioning/camp bit. That being said, does he come off as a little cocky? When he says, essentially, that he thinks winning an NC is the best thing to help his draft stock? I know nothing about basketball, but doesn't he have plenty to work on as opposed to winning a title?

I view USC as more regional,…

I view USC as more regional, even if they are very popular on the west coast. When I walk around cities in Michigan, it's not unusual to see Bama, OSU (barf), Georgia, or ND gear. Go to Chicago or a bigger metro and it's the same thing. I don't often see USC stuff.

NHL and it's not even close…

NHL and it's not even close. The speed, constant action, physicality, and sheer will that these players show is unmatched IMO. NBA can be very entertaining in the last half of the 4th quarter but to me, the rest of the game is fairly boring with some cool plays mixed in.

In hockey, every goal matters and the anticipation for said goals is breathtaking. You can hear it in the emotions of the crowd with every shot. You can't beat an NHL player getting 75 stitches to the face and returning less than a period later like a player from the Jets did in game 1 vs the Golden Knights. I'm sure many of you remember Stevie Y in complete, obvious pain during the playoffs, playing through it, and absolutely willing the Wings to victory. You don't see that, or as much, in other sports, or you at least don't know about it until afterwards.

Also...I'm clearly biased towards hockey and have played it all my life so I understand and appreciate other viewpoints or why someone might say the NBA. This is just my opinion!

EXACTLY. I have a neighbor…

EXACTLY. I have a neighbor and some other friends that were all "GO DAWGS" two years ago. Same people that bought App State shirts when we lost. Useless human beings.

No kidding. Such a great…

No kidding. Such a great sense for the ball and where it's going to be. Love the play where he doesn't even seem to realize/care he has a soft cast on.

Not that we didn't EFF…

Not that we didn't EFF ourselves with our play, but those two Illinois and-1s were daggers and OF COURSE THEY WENT IN.

I also came here to ask this.

I also came here to ask this.

This drives me mad! We had…

This drives me mad! We had to come from somewhere...but then if we have a "creator" or anything like that, who created them? No matter what scenario you draw up - we're inside a computer simulator, there is a god, we're random and one of an infinite amount of universes, etc. - you still come back to the same question: where did it all come from? Who created the god? Whoever is running the simulator, where did they come from? WHY! None of it makes sense and it gives me anxiety.

Wish I would’ve read this…

Wish I would’ve read this thread first before buying B1G+ for a month, which I’ll promptly be cancelling. Awful camera angles, no zoom, shit replays (or none), and these announcers are atrocious.

Might be irrational, but just when they were talking about Naurato and attempting to show him on screen, he wasn’t even centered and it looked like he was actually the bald bearded guy. Awful.

bUt DoN't YoU wAnT tO rOoT…

bUt DoN't YoU wAnT tO rOoT fOr ThE bIg TeN???

I get this all the time from work and neighbors. The answer for MSU and Ohio is always a resounding F*** NO.

Did you see the recent pics…

Did you see the recent pics of his new girlfriend? I think he's doing fine.

I'd start looking in East…

I'd start looking in East Lansing...

It would be insufferable…

It would be insufferable having to look at Fleck on the sidelines every week, wearing his stupid shirt, tie, and quarter zip. No thanks.

Anything dealing with Sparty…

Anything dealing with Sparty. I have a hard time comprehending their stupidity.

I came away from that three…

I came away from that three minute long highlight video liking Marshall, but really liking that QB Sayin. He can sling.

As someone very familiar…

As someone very familiar with UofM's "Transfer Credit Equivalency" course catalog, I checked, and Coastal Carolina has plenty of classes that are transferrable, notably Psych 101 as well as numerous other 100-level classes (Soc, Polisci, History).

The list isn't as long as other, more common schools, but I know for a fact that classes can be added very easily to the transfer catalog. I had to take eight classes at an online university (Southern New Hampshire U) and all but one or two of them were listed in the catalog. All I had to do was email an advisor with the list of classes and their course description/syllabus, and it took a day or two for them to add the courses to the catalog and list them as transferable credits. As long as they weren't anything ridiculous like "Intro to Bowling," or they also frown upon taking math classes online, UofM doesn't ask many (or any) questions.

I'm just some guy that took a ten-year long hiatus from UofM and graduated last spring (thanks to the online classes), so I'm sure they can help some of these kids out fairly easily.

"I would need to see the…

"I would need to see the Lions do this again next year for me to believe that this is sustainable." Do it again but not start 1-6 is what I think you meant.

Any chance it hurt Corum…

Any chance it hurt Corum that the Don came in and was just as productive? Maybe the committee wrote Corum off a bit as benefiting from a really good offensive line? Not that I agree, just a thought.

It's officially all blue…

It's officially all blue everything the UMICH Football account.

Not that I'm on Ohio's side,…

Not that I'm on Ohio's side, but picking PSU instead of them "to avoid a repeat appearance coming off another deflating loss to their rival Michigan" doesn't make sense to me. This happened last year and Ohio balled out (offensively) in the Rose Bowl. Stroud threw for almost 600 yards and 6 TDs.

Yep, my bad, wrong year.

Yep, my bad, wrong year.

Theory: "out for season"…

Theory: "out for season" really means the B1G season. He has almost two months to heal in time for 1/20/2023 if indeed it is something like scoping. We're just trying to throw people off. Yep, going with that. I feel better.

*Edit* 1/09/2023 (CFP championship, I had the wrong date)

Imagine if we didn't hatch…

Imagine if we didn't hatch some diabolical plan to sabotage MSU's season through football, media, and legal action. Imagine if we weren't so invested in ruining everything about their school, from football to academics, just how great they would've been this season and what amazing bowl game they'd be going to. I can't wait for them to launch their counteroffensive to destroy us from within by any means necessary.

Thread closed. This is all.

Thread closed. This is all.

It sucks, but who else are…

It sucks, but who else are they putting at #5 and #6? Tennessee, who just got waxed by a four-loss South Carolina? Penn State is next, but they got destroyed by Michigan (even worse the the final score indicates) and beat by a one-loss Ohio. Clemson is after them, but they also just lost to the same four-loss SC team. Then after that, you have a bunch of three-loss teams.

It pains me to say, but Bama and Ohio State should be the next two in, due to all the comments echoed in here about Bama and because Ohio still only has one-loss, albeit a terrible one. While I wholeheartedly agree that TCU/USC should NOT be penalized for a 13th game, we should be praying that both teams win. Losses to a #10 and #11 in the conference championship game shouldn't drop them below two teams that didn't make their championship games.

I work next to a Buckeye…

I work next to a Buckeye grad and he's surrounded by myself and two other Michigan alums. It's been a great day. Also...while on Eleven Warriors, basking in their self-deprecating forum, came across some buckeyes with some logic. Also not shown is the next commenter who thinks Michigan is the best at stealing signs, going on to give Harbaugh kudos "if it's legal" lol.

While I agree, I've seen…

While I agree, I've seen multiple comments on us playing Georgia again which assumes that we're beating Purdue and then also beating (most likely) TCU in a #2 vs #3 matchup. Again, I agree that we should/would be favored in both and that this is a likely outcome,  but I hate counting the chickens before they hatch. It's not a foregone conclusion that we're playing Georgia in the national championship game (albeit it's a likely outcome). That could even mean Georgia loses its game. Not likely, but they've looked pedestrian a few times this season (Missouri, first half vs Tech this weekend, Kent State, Kentucky).

Just saying, let's not get too ahead of ourselves and keep our focus on Purdon't.

Agreed! Make it just like…

Agreed! Make it just like hockey where it's just one skate touching the neutral zone.

Hockey offsides is the same…

Hockey offsides is the same way and that's fairly popular. Biggest difference between soccer and hockey offsides is that in hockey, you just need some part of one of your skates to be making contact with the neutral zone before the puck crosses the blue line (equivalent to the line the defenders make in soccer), which would basically be what MGolem is complaining about. I agree. It should just be the feet.

I'll be rooting for TCU and…

I'll be rooting for TCU and USC to win out, as well as ourselves and Georgia, so that two SEC teams don't (hopefully) get into the CFP. I'm hoping a one-loss PAC champ in USC will be able to eek out that fourth spot over a two-loss Bama, one-loss Ohio, or a one-loss Clemson. I would imagine that USC would be the no-brainer, but you never know with the SEC and somewhat B1G bias.

Not sure how we beat Georgia, but a matchup vs TCU in the semis should be very winnable.

Go Blue, Fuck Ohio.

Maybe an unpopular opinion…

Maybe an unpopular opinion and I might get blasted for this...but are we much different than the team that lost the CFP game in the first five minutes? Honest question, I would really like someone to set me straight/show me the light so I can be a positive person and not a negative Nancy.

We went into that game with an elite defense (statistically, and with two sack machines), amazing run game, and good enough QB play. Are we much different now? There was that stat that last year at this point, we had more plays for 40+ yards than we do now and we still weren't considered "explosive" then. I love our team and I think we're very good, but I'm not seeing much difference in the two teams. I think we have the recipe to beat Ohio again and then obviously win the B1G championship, but I'm terrified of having to play Georgia again.

Anyone else love RGIII's…

Anyone else love RGIII's comments? "JJ said hey hey to the end zone" was one of my favorites.

The B1G should override the…

The B1G should override the rules and just replace the B1G championship with a Michigan/Ohio rematch. Sorry not sorry, B1G West.

If Oregon wins out and is…

If Oregon wins out and is the PAC champ (or USC for that matter), wouldn't they put them in over Ohio? I get the whole Oregon vs Georgia thing, but Oregon is clearly a different team.

I also don't get why people think that if Michigan loses a to Ohio, we're out, but if Ohio loses, they could still get in? I would argue that a close loss on the road to the #2 team looks better than a close loss at home to the #3 team. Hate the bias.

I know I am very biased…

I know I am very biased towards Michigan and obviously, hate Ohio...but I just don't understand why they continue to be put #2? I know we don't really have any legit apples-to-apples comparisons since we played Iowa away, PSU home, and Rutgers away (Ohio did the opposite for all three) - but I'd argue that we looked better in each game and dominated the opponents more than Ohio did? Iowa gifted Ohio the ball half a dozen times and Ohio consistently had great field position. We all saw how the Penn State/Ohio game went where they definitely could've lost. And then Rutgers, they were up big at half, but the final scores still ended up being similar and from comparing the stats for each game, I'd argue we did a better job. We also both have similarly weak strength of schedules. The only thing I'm seeing where Ohio is a legit #2 team is their scary ability to put points up quickly. Might be better than anyone else in the country at it, but then they lay duds at Northwestern. I don't get it. End rant.

Was listening to Rick Pizzo …

Was listening to Rick Pizzo (B1G network) on ESPNU radio today, and he had a comment along the lines of, "If you watch that video (of the tunnel footage) and don't find it absolutely disgusting, you're not watching it as a human being."

Can't agree more with this. There's not a realistic scenario that I can think of that would warrant someone getting curbed stomped and bashed with a helmet by 4-8 people, let alone physically-gifted athletes. This quote also confirms my long-lasting suspicion that most Sparties are vile, bottom-feeding creatures without a morally sound bone in their bodies.

Agreed that we can just roll…

Agreed that we can just roll in there and play our game; but, if Moody kicks five more FGs because we can't score in the red zone, I'm going to worry a bit.

I'm sure/assuming that it's…

I'm sure/assuming that it's supposed to be 150 yards of total rushing between Corum and Edwards, totaling 550 yards of offense. Still a lot, but not insane, like 700 yards is.

There were rumors back in…

There were rumors back in the spring after he was fired from UGA that he was being considered for a mid-major job, but then nothing.

Facts: "The Iowa offense…

Facts: "The Iowa offense really had nothing for the Wolverine defense, except for some success with the tight ends. But that’s Iowa’s bread and butter, so you have to expect that. Actually, Iowa’s bread and butter is running for no gain on first down. Their dessert is throwing to the tight ends on third down, hoping for a first down."

I work closely with a…

I work closely with a Clemson fan (wife went there), and every week he wants to hear my argument on why Clemson shouldn't be ahead of Michigan. Maryland might end up being better than Wake and in the top 20, and a win at Iowa is very impressive, but I really don't know what to tell him? They just handled NC State, a top 10 team at the time, and we really haven't played anyone outside of the two games I just mentioned.
