Are they that insecure that they can't believe that normal people have Michigan degrees? Do they think every Michigan grad is on Wall Street or Sunjay Gupta? I mean there are A LOT of highly successful graduates of the school but man, there are a lot of us with Michigan degrees that are just normal people.
That’s an amazing story and glad you got to be there even if you were late. My trip was nowhere near that hectic or dramatic, just shorter than I would’ve liked. Didn’t get to partake in any of the weekend festivities just essentially flew in for the game and headed back home early the next day. Travel home was long and arduous so luckily we won or it would have been miserable.
I usually give to the UM-Dearborn Food Pantry every year. A small donation does go a long way, a lot of students at the Dearborn campus do count on that for sustenance with a lot being non-traditional or international students. It's a great cause to help support a portion of the current student body doing what they can to earn a Michigan degree.
I was tasked with getting chips, pop, and ice because I can’t be trusted with cooking anything except chili and canned soup. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
This is kind of the avenue that I am going down in my thought process as well. Maybe he is leaving and there isn't any reason to fight for him anymore.
I mean what is Harbaugh supposed to say about a player publicly? I’m sure he is going to praise all of his players. Even if All did have some maturity issues, I’m sure last year the program thought he might grow out of it.
There was a strange feel to the crowd at the game Saturday. I didn't witness this incident but I did witness numerous adults being extremely rude to not only MSU fans but to other Michigan fans. One much older man got thrown out of my section before kickoff because he was harassing people about their SAT scores, and two other older guys got into a fight because one of them wouldn't sit down. It was a weird crowd, don't know if it was because it was a night game, or because this game attracts people who don't normally attend Michigan games.
The two people I looked up to the most. My grandfather loved Michigan football, and my brother loved Michigan basketball. Neither one were able to pursue Michigan degrees and I wanted to be a part of the University for all of our sakes. I love this school and it means the world to me and I’m proud to have my little piece of it.
We got in the playoff while it was still only four teams so they can change it any way they want now! With that being, said I do not agree with having to win or play a big game during the regular season and then that is wiped away because now you have to play that team again in the playoff. It's kind of like the B1G title argument that is everywhere now that we actually won the conference. Nobody cared while OSU was boat racing the West but now that we did it, there's a problem. 6 team playoff seems ideal.
My best friend and his wife both graduated from UGA, and we have a nice Georgia-Michigan friendly rivalry when it comes to athletics and academics. My friend's wife did graduate with a degree in insurance and risk management and she does not let you forget that her program is always in the top 5 of the country. Athens is a great town and the city and the campus do remind me a lot of Ann Arbor. The university also has satellite campuses, such as ours, that allow a Georgia degree to be more accessible. I would say that Georgia is 'twangy' Michigan.

I agree it’s not just M sports but all sports. I turned 35 this year and just see no use getting worked up over things I can control.
