Exactly what I was thinking. If I were an MSU fan, I'd be really concerned about that. It's not nearly as fixable as an off night shooting 3's.

I watched the last 35 minutes of the game expecting MSU to go on a 10-0 run and put it away. They never did. JMU was the better team. Even got the usual Breslin whistle to my (extremely) biased eye.

i turned the game on shortly before halftime. MSU got out-hustled. JMU fought for boards, banged against the "bigger" "stronger" team. they hit big shots every time it looked like MSU was gaining traction. the Breslin crowd was live trying to will their team to a W. too bad only 1 guy showed up for the Spartans tonight :( Izzo will use this to refocus a team that bought into an automatic win because of a ranking.

They'll get better, but as Dylan is pointing out on Twitter, they have real spacing issues. Nobody wanted to shoot from outside.

very much 1 dimensional on offense. Walker looked good slashing to the hole, that’s all they had tonight. But in half court sets they looked terrible

this post-game presser is almost as good as watching the clock tick to 0 in a loss to James Madison. Izzo’s demeanor is one of a guy ‘tired of this sh!t’. He openly states that he has no idea who the leaders are in his program. maybe they turn it around but more likely I think they get rocked by Duke in a week. hoping for an early tailspin that they can’t pull out of.
