I think swimming was key to getting it back.

He may not have been his sharpest last night but he did get driven into the turf on an amazingly gutsy play. And they all made plays when the game was on the line.
the same can be said of the D. If people nationally don’t know Will Johnson they haven’t paid attention. So much was made of how Bama was gonna run Michigan out of the Rose Bowl.
So many guys made plays and it limited what Milroe could do. He didn’t have time because of the swarming D line. He couldn’t take deep shots because of our secondary. They couldn’t get their RBs loose except for a couple drives. And they got stuffed when it mattered most because their options were taken away over 4 quarters.
Just read a wrap up from the Bama perspective. A pretty good breakdown of what happened. Mostly fair, except for a preposterous comment regarding Corum vs Bama RBs. Corum may not be called upon to be a receiver out of the backfield but he had 2 damaging receptions yesterday.
-Alabama never got consistent edge pressure, and was erratic at stopping the Michigan running game despite RB Blake Corum clearly not being a runner as dynamic as any of Alabama’s four backs.
That’s awesome. We sometimes forget these are college kids having the times of their lives. And they appreciate all the effort and support to get there.
