What a weekend ahead of us. Colored blue with optimism. Basketball is marinating, football is eating desert, and hockey is about to serve the main course.
They should just play this and the NIT in one day ala Gus Macker and both tournament champions get an at large bid for NCAA tourney. Also, since it's the last game of the year, the refs are advised only call major fouls and just let it get a little crazy.
This is probably the answer. Hire anyone with an internal or strong external reference to all these new analyst positions and have them all analysing their way back to relevance, while they sit on a job lined with potential and 5 stars. It maybe that the time has passed on this model, it may still work, but Day hired the right advisors to set up his system to build a Saban-like machine in the potential B1G vacuum...
It is nice to see that other team's boards are as insanely hateful toward their AD as we were just a few short days ago. Louisville tears + IU tears also taste delicious.
I totally agree. But Humans aren't very rational and behaviour is incredibly difficult to change / modify. It is so odd how many people who are rich and famous make mistakes, and how often we all collectively think, "if I had her/his money, I wouldn't ever do x" and yet time and time again they do. I am willing to bet that if you grew up never driving while intoxicated, then if you became Uber wealthy you also wouldn't. If you grew up and didn't use Uber or your phone for all of these options, you might, in the midst of a pretty bad day or state of less than ideal mental acuity, just take the simplest or your default decision and drive.
Now for the disclaimer, I find what he did incredibly selfish, even lazy, and he should be punished. I also can't fathom the pride, frugality and Idiocracy involved in making such a terrible and risky decisions. My initial reaction was, "well he gone". I am, however, saying that our assumptions of wealth and behavior (as this also related to a precious post with comments on Juwan and his children being on scholarship) are assumptions and might actually be quite far away from the truth.
As a lifelong, but admittedly casual fan of these two sports, Tom Brady is an excellent football player and will do well in the NFL was a far, far more likely outcome than Duncan Robinson is on an NBA team after his first contract.
His success has surprised everyone except Duncan and maybe a certain J.B.
Putting a son on scholarship is exactly what any rich parent would do. Doing the opposite is the behaviour of someone who doesn't value money and wants to waste it. If anything he has shown to be more resourceful with his earnings by the very claim you are making against him...
I'm hoping for a slightly more mobile Ruddock, sans learning curve. I think Sam said that Orji is in the lead, but a nice competition could be healthy and Tuttle could have the consistency to win us all over.
If true, that's a sad turn of events. Hope his family/personal situation is better. Hart is Michigan through and through, so it must have been a tough call.
Is anyone else excited to see how this new defensive staff gels? I was less than optimistic just a week ago, but the department ponied up and pay top dollar for people known to Sherrone / close to the Harbaugh's family coaching tree. I read that as showing them the respect they deserve and having a higher likelihood to stick around for the culture. I imagine the players are also thrilled, and I have to admit that matters most.

This deserves it's own post.
Not a Chauncey highlight, but this was the oh no, oh no, oh no, oh yes...Mike Sainristil moment of that Detroit dynasty.

Decision-making tree.
1. Is he a wing? Yes = Take. No = see Q2.
2. Can he put ball in basket? If yes, = take. If no see Q3.
3. If he cannot put ball in basket, can he stop someone else from putting ball in basket? If yes = take. If no, see Q1.

Just what we needed. Another selection committee.

Oh that is going on so many tshirts...
Probably, also not a trademark lawyer, but OP isn't selling them, so doubt there would be consequences. Quora agrees with me.
Unoriginal and outstanding.

Keith Jackson? Too soon?
Watch where you insert those witty testies.

Agreed. Tom Brady exceeded all expectations. But he was still an excellent prospect and only a little bit behind Drew Henson in fan's eyes.
Wow did we all get that one wrong.

Indy Pete, you are also all class...well posted.
✅Naughty or ✅Nice?

Can Jace's dad not enter the draft with him?
Yes but Shea was the golf caddy of the NCAA commissioner, so that helped...
He was my dorm neighbor freshman year. He and Jon Shaw. Really the nicest guys. Braylon especially.

I'll file the TRO on Brian's behalf. It will be approved by tomorrow.
I boycotted them after the UNC cheating scandal resulted in no punishment.
Was that in May 2022, right about when we hired a certain Naval cadet?
Didn't that Quarterback from the national championship game, you know the runner ups, once play for Indiana, too?
Everything about that site feels weird.
