OT: James Madison upsets #4 MSU in hoops

I honestly never understood the hype with this MSU team. They overachieved in the tourney after a fine regular season last year and all of the sudden they were a preseason top 5 team 

State fans' entire hopes all this fall have been pinned to three things:

1. None of this matters because we're getting Urban
2. None of this matters because Michigan is getting the death penalty
3. None of this matters because basketball

I fucking love that all of it is unraveling at once lolololololol.

Really only one reason that msu got beaten.....JMU stole their signs! Msu is just lucky nobody got hurt!

James Madison had their signs.

JMU knew they were going to post up.  Haller will calling the Sun Belt commish tomorrow to file a complaint against them due to the safety of the players.

Very clever strategy by Izzo.   This loss to JMU eliminates any pressure the Spartans might have felt about going undefeated this season… right out of the gate.

Given that James Madison's football team is currently undefeated, I suspect their athletic director is headed for big things and probably soon

Amazing to me how kids still sign up to come short of their potential with Izzo.

I personally was concerned for the health and safety of the James Madison players. 
 

I think I’ll buy me a JMU T shirt. 

I've heard James Madison is good, but I didn't think they were Middle Tennessee State good.

I feel confident 〽️ will beat The Little Sissy Spartans in basketball this year.
