OT Humor: Missouri HC Eli Drinkwitz on playing Ohio State - "Connor Stalions beeping in right here. I'm trying to get some signals, I gotta go."

Kind of a funny exchange on ESPN as Eli Drinkwitz was being interviewed about #9 Missouri making the Cotton Bowl against Ohio State.

"Hey guys, I got a quick phone call, Connor Stalions beeping in right here."

I didn't realize how much a goober Drinkwitz has been all season.

Might be one of those things you just have to see or people take out of context.  Sometimes it makes more sense when you watch a clip as opposed to reading it.  Its like the //s.

All seriousness though, I watched a few Mizzou games late in the season and they're a tough team and fun to watch.  Their running back Schrader is a beast.

He really wants to become part of tHe BiGgEsT sCaNdAl In FoOtBaLl HiStOrY by using signals stolen by Stalions?

In any case with all the players OSU will have opting out I doubt you'll need the "21-point advantage."

EXACTLY!

We survived all of this pretty damn well:

- We beat top ten Penn State in Happy Valley,

- We got our 1,000th win at Maryland (first and only program in CFB with 1,000 wins),

- We beat #2 Ohio State - in the highest rated CFB game of the year - for the third time in a row,

- We won the Big Ten Championship outright for the third time in a row (which had never been done),

- We made the College Football Playoff,

- We are ranked #1 in the entire nation.

Living well is the best revenge.

He has earned himself the enmity of Buckeye nation! And their team name starts with an M!

Pretty safe to say I’ll be cheering for Mizzou in this one.

I probably have some years on you, but Mizzou was at the heart of two huge plays that impacted national championships in the 90s. The first was the Colorado "5th" down play against Mizzou. Buffs went on to split the title in 90. The other was the "flea kicker" vs. #1 Nebraska -- Huskers were able to get a touchdown to send the game to OT on a play that wouldn't fly today. They went on to win in OT. That win kept Nebraska undefeated and impacted Michigan when the national title vote was split in 97.

His comment to Harbaugh this morning was just plain shitty.  Harbaugh was being generous and offering a bit of an olive branch and Davis chose to call out the Michigan fan base and THEN made it about himself.  This is one of the many, many things wrong with ESPN.
