Huge fan of Fenway. Watching from the Monstah is a great time. Every year there is an awesome summer concert series, too. Kenmore is a happening neighborhood.

The Yankees smell, to me, of bucknut, but old Yankee stadium was pretty great. The new one kinda sucks (the museum’s ok).

Love my childhood memories of going to Tiger Stadium. I like Comerica, except the tiger head statues look like they’re choking on giant baseballs. architects…

I think this is smart. Maye could be like a relief pitcher in a starting pitchers role, since the ACC is college football lite. The Pats had some ok success with a late pick, previously, anyway.

This is a subjective take. I…

This is a subjective take. I live on the east coast and that’s how people view Cleveland, not Detroit.  My experience,  people want what’s best for Detroit and The Mistake on the Lake can sink into Erie’s depths.

A2 has sooo much more going…

A2 has sooo much more going for it. Just the fact that it’s 30 min from a Delta Airlines hub makes it twice as convenient as Cbus. Try booking a trip to Rome from Ohio, you’ll end up taking a regional to DTW first.

Throw in a killer local music scene that straddles Detroit and Ann Arbor and you have a clear winner. Not even close.

Stockholm. Or is it…

Stockholm. Or is it Munchausens? Pica?

Some sort of syndrome, anyway.

Most Bucknuts have a couple, at least.

Am I paranoid?

This feels mostly like a…

This feels mostly like a reaction to pay-to-play with direct involvement from the university. While the NCAA still has to come to a conclusion about Stalions, that was very much about how the game was played not how the team is administered. I could see this new AD at tOSU finding himself in hot water, though.

Seriously. Language is…

Seriously. Language is constantly changing and that’s good. Otherwise, we’d still speak like Bill Shakespeare. Jive?

Yeah, that’s a bad…

Yeah, that’s a bad descriptor, for sure. What’s the adjective for “thrives on chaos not preparation”? Dischordful? We’ll see if he can keep the plates spinning.

He must be real good if he…

He must be real good if he can skip college. LeBron is just down the street, he’ll show DJ how to route for the University you never attended…

edit: root. Although LeBron shows up to a lot of games, so routing may be taught too.

Try Etsy. There are a ton of options. Just type in “those who stay will be champions.”.

The Mistake on the Lake has…

The Mistake on the Lake has no opinion that matters to humanity. Every person I’ve met that grew up in/around The Cleve has an irrational fear of ever stepping foot within the boundaries of Detroit.  You could replace “irrational” with a different word, but I’ll try to avoid the fringes of politics (this is what we’ve come to…).

I know a few pharmacy majors…

I know a few pharmacy majors from my time at Michigan. They’re financially well off and enjoy the work.

I’m went thru the engineering school and can tell you that, while I love the design field and make decent money, not everyone with aptitude does well as an engineer. Many end up moving toward the business side and go back for an MBA.

Those on this board that advise he take some core classes and regularly assess his expectations seem wise, to me.

Someday that modern…

Someday that modern technology will be rediscovered, which will lead to the rediscovery that it doesn’t work very well.

Build the lines and everything else will follow. Literally.

You could also point to the…

You could also point to the fact that Coach Moore played real division I football and is inherently tough, while Day played at UNH and may or may not know how to fight his way out of a paper bag (except to lose an insane amount of sleep over it). They are not the same, at all.

I appreciate stubborn…

I appreciate stubborn positivity with a hint of passive aggression. Good on you.

Harbaugh had to rebuild both…

Harbaugh had to rebuild both lines, which took multiple years, but as you’ve pointed out he found success, regardless.  He’s rebuilt our program and has passed it on in good shape. I’m not sure I feel too bad about that and I think Moore is a good/great candidate to keep it running.

Saban wasn’t soft and he…

Saban wasn’t soft and he never blamed his players for loses. I guess that’s to say, he was for-real respected by young men with giant me-goggles (egos). Not easy to accomplish and the results speak for themselves. I believe Harbaugh has this same quality. Ryan Day does not.

Some geniuses scooped up Bill O’ , so this would be the next best choice.

My wife grew up in a nice Victorian not too far from there. It seems like a mixed bag of opinions, in terms of for/against. I assume the horses are for it? Go Mustangs (especially Jake Moody)!

Damn. It brought back…

Damn. It brought back memories of this fall in a way that confirms I will always cherish this season, also the two preceding seasons. A lot of complicated emotions wrapped up in our fandom, people! Thanks for sharing.

It seems to me that Coach…

It seems to me that Coach agreed to a lot of uncomfortable things a few years ago, then upped his performance (as well as those around him) and won the NC. All of this without demanding more while in the process.

It’s time for Warde to feel discomfort and reciprocate.

With his final game as a loss to the Jets. Ouch. He needed to totally change the offense after Brady left. I’m not sure he ever understood how much coaching TB12 was doing, which pushed that offense from ok to excellent.

Is it awful to hope that Urban comes out of retirement to coach at Bama? It would just roast those damn Bucknuts.

I’d settle for Frames, though. Cook PSU and Bama in one salty skillet.

First to +1000 total wins…

First to +1000 total wins while within a championship season.

Also, M is 1000 via roman numerals which is fun. Also, we have Roman Wilson who is awesome. Also, if you like to compare football to warfare our team was very Romanesque in that we always marched forward and never retreated. Shields up marching downhill victory!

Also, loaded without a…

Also, loaded without a required portal raid. That means the culture perpetuates, especially if JJ stays.

Ohio thinks that’s Day is doing a great job rejiggering their team this offseason, but all he’s really doing is replacing players that have left or were forced out with portal mercenaries.

I’ll take our point of view, thanks.

ND is well practiced at…

ND is well practiced at brokering a TV deal. Also, every Catholic I work with, in Boston, cares about ND but only watches when they’re legit. Ratings for ND in a for real championship run might be pretty decent. Also, to hell with Notre Dame.

What he doesn’t share is that Michigan fans can be good winners on the major social media platforms because they first go to The Score and gloat for 3-4 mins. Maybe that’s just me…

Agreed. Although, it may not have the effect they anticipate. I found myself searching for only the greyed out comments.

As a resident, but not home…

As a resident, but not home-grown, Bostonian I find there are two camps of Patriots fans. Realists and Belichick apologists. The realists understand that it was Brady’s team and specifically his offense. The rest are still convinced that Mack Jones is the real deal. It’s been fun to watch the decline and the ensuing surrender cobras.

The only reason we had to share with the Black Shirts in ‘97 is because of the ‘95 Cornhusker's road grater. They’ve got to be way up there.

Yup. I’m pretty sure Blake is to scale. Kenneth Grant? Check. O-Line? Maybe bigger. TE? About the same. Our WR’s? Fine, smaller.

We are not what we used to be. Enjoy.

Seriously, I found this to be a great troll of OSU and ESPN. He could have hit the funny home a little better but he’s a football coach not John Mulaney
