Our LB corp, when you factor in the 2022 and 2023 classes, will be stacked with solid players for the next 3-5 years. I have a gut feeling this guy has the potential to be one Harbaugh's best LB's when all is said and done.

It's just it's OSU's time to sit in their corner and think deeply on why they sucked in the GAME this year.

Having to play Michigan state away in back-to-back years was one of the dumbest decisions in a very long list of dumb decisions that David Brandon made in his tenure as the worst Michigan AD of all time.
I think JJ will stay bc our coaching staff has done a really good job getting him involved and investing in his development.
I can see the Big Mac/JJ scenario playing out in a similar fashion to Tom Brady/Drew Henson dynamic where Henson played in his first two years before finally taking the reigns in his 3rd year.
Kudos to Andrew Vastardis for having a great year and proving all doubters wrong. If not in the NFL, he will have a stellar post-football career in medicine.

Great win yesterday. Here's why I think we not only have a chance to be very competitive against OSU, but could possibly beat them if we continue to play the way we have been playing:
-OSU's toughest matchups (i.e. MSU, Wisconsin, PSU) are all at home. So they've had home field advantage. Not with us as they will have to brave a hostile crowd at the Big House.
-I would argue that OSU hasn't been tested b/c the teams they have beaten are one-dimensional at best:
MSU: Solid defense but their offense sucks
Wisconsin: Solid running offense, but their QB/passing is mediocre at best. As yesterday showed, you shut down Jonathan Taylor, their offense starts sinking. While Wisconsin also boasts a top level defense, I noticed while watching the OSU-Wisconsin game that Wisconsin has really slow LB's which is why JK Dobbins was able to break for long, back breaking runs. Whereas with us we have two vipers (Hudson and Glasgow), combined with Uche and McGrone, to wreak havok on the field. We got the size and the lateral speed to minimize the damage that Dobbins and Fields can have on the run
PSU: That will be an interesting matchup bc they have a solid defense led by Micah Parsons.
Chase Young is going to be a beast when he plays us and it will be very intriguing to see how Jon Runyan and our O-Line handles him. But if our OLine continues to play the way we have been playing, I am confident we are going to hold our own there.
Our D-Line has proven to be faster, longer and more athletic than last year's D-Line when we could barely touch Haskins.
So if our front 7 can stand up to contain the run, the x-factor is going to be in our secondary. Match speed for speed by puttting Dax Hill on Olave or Garret Wilson, then assign Ambry and Lavert on the other top 2 WR's, with Gray on the fourth WR and Metullus/Brad Hawkins as a high level safety and you have the foundation to make sure that last year's passing debacle won't happen this year.
It's all good now with Connor. Let's be real, he expressed something publicly that we all were probably mentioning behind the doors in our own rooms when we saw what happened. He is a young man and he made a stupid mistake. The most important thing is recognizing you made a mistake, taking ownership, and becoming a better man because of that.
Let's forgive and forget as a Michigan Wolverine community and move on.
The team lost as a whole. While Bell didn't lose the game by himself, but he didn't make the catch when it mattered the most. Bell makes a lot of great catches in the field, but for some reason he is the a WR who seems to be the most allergic to scoring in the end zone. Whatever it is, he is got to improve on that.
Simply put, Bell has to do better...as well as the rest of the team.
While we are a bit underhanded in our interior line compared to recent years, there is a lot that I like about this year than last year's defense:
I would say our DE's are longer and more athletic than Chase and Rashan Gary
McGrone is starting to look like a bigger version of Devin Bush
Our secondary? We don't have Brandon Watson and Tyree Kinnel, who were liabilities in our secondary any more. I really like Ambry, Lavert, Metellus, Hawkins and Daxton Hill. Vincent Gray has potential but I still view him as a bit if weak link. I'll look to see how he plays against PSU.

Although he didn't commit to Clemson, I can see him ending up like one of Clemson's recent All-Americans who went on to the NFL: Isaiah Simmons.
Both are tall and strong safeties who have the physicality and versatility to play the field.

Cade Big Mac will go down as the best Harbaugh QB when his career is done. And then it will be JJ.

I always thought Brandon Jennings was a key recruit that got away. I wouldn't mind taking him back bc he has the skillset to thrive in our defense.
