Jacksonville-area linebacker Branden Jennings, once committed to Florida State . . . and Michigan . . . signed with Maryland in the 2021 class . . . and is in the transfer portal. He made 23 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 forced fumble this year.

He played a little bit in the Michigan game and was last seen talking trash to Donovan Edwards while suffering a 59-18 loss.

George Helow helped recruit Jennings to Maryland.

Locksley credited Williams (who grew up in Miami), specials teams coordinator/linebackers coach George Helow (Jacksonville), tight ends coach Mike Miller (West Palm Beach) and co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Joker Phillips (who was the wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator at Florida in 2013) with helping the school mine that state.

He’ll be at State who will from now on be known as transfer U.  But seriously tucker going back to the transfer well so many times do to his horseshit roster was annoying when it worked out…kinda…I really really want them to go 3-9 next season and Peyton Thorns  unibrow get shaved off

He went from starting to little PT and now he's gone.

Damn, I bet he's kicking himself.

That said, he'd be transferring from Michigan too...because he wasn't playing over Ross, NHG, Colson, Mullings or Barrett.

I remember last season that when he signed with Maryland there was talk that losing Jennings was the biggest punch to the gut for last years class. The talk was that Jennings was a guy who really fit Macdonald's prototype linebacker.
