People who know about football/recruiting more than me: what kind of safety does he project to be? Based on his 247 scouting report, he seems to be more 2015 Jabrill than Dax Hill.

I actually compare him to Brad Hawkins. Same size out of high school, but Sabb is more polished. Sure tackler who's at his best flying up into the box to make a stop one on one (really underrated skill Hawkins has). I don't see him as a ball-hawking free safety either.

He was being recruited at Clemson to a similar position as the Viper. Ala Isaiah Simmons. Some concerns about his speed have put him as a box defender, basically a bigger, faster Brad Hawkins.

Much more similar to Jabrill than Dax but Jabrill probably had more top end athleticism.

Steve Atwater.

Keon would be a tremendous get  for our favorite team-would provide great flexibility to the defense. He is big enough to play LB-would wreak havoc blowing up the run, taking away the TE and blitzing off the edge. Otherwise, he can cover a ton of acreage on the back end of a defense and boy oh boy does he bring the wood!

Have you not observed the omnipresent "sideline reporters" who offer worthless, pre-written by others commentary when there is a lull in the game? 98% are attractive females. Does that mean they all got their positions (instead of men) based on their abilities to report on a sport that most have never played and that these 98% were all better qualified than any man or lessor attractive woman who applied for the job? Let's be real, skill can sometimes be 2nd in the sports journalism world.  Let's cut Jordan2323 a break.

I wrote for the Michigan Daily for a year and the vast majority of the sports reporters didn't play football and the ones who did play didn't play well.  It used to be that most everyone in America loved football and sports.  The kid that wasn't super-fast, big or strong kept the stats in the pressbox and/or wrote for the school newspaper.  The 5'2" Mitch Alboms of the world were pretty good reporters but most likely never played any ball beyond pee wee.

Sure former players are all over TV, but the majority of them wouldn't have made it there on their reporting/writing skills.

There is no reason a woman can't be that dork in the press box, or the next Mitch Albom.  Mitch Albom is handsome no one accuses him of getting the job on his looks.

This sums it up right here.  It's happening!  And by happening, I mean the shit we have been talking about happening for the last decade, if and only if we could beat OSU, win the B1G and make the CFP.  Fuck yes!
