Pretty sure Michigan was the…

Pretty sure Michigan was the only team to have a player drafted in each of the first 5 rounds. Somehow, we had nobody drafted in the 6th so the streak ended. Hopefully we see a bunch taken in the 7th.

Getting dangerously close to…

Getting dangerously close to Panther uniforms.

Well that sucks

Well that sucks

Is there a reason we are…

Is there a reason we are expecting Dusty to have an easier time getting players through admissions than Howard did? Hard to get excited about transfers until they've officially signed.

Exactly. If Blake Corum…

Exactly. If Blake Corum didnt return last season I dont think we even make the playoffs because Edwards was a complete negative for most of the season. Thankfully he is clutch as fuck and shows up in big games though.

Edwards also relies on big holes. Our Oline is going to be worse so he wont have those gaping holes to hit as often this season.

It'd be foolish to not take…

It'd be foolish to not take him if he wants to come. Ryan Day is trash at utilizing RBs and I think Hayden is a diamond in the rough. Edwards and Mullings should be good and Im excited for them but our run game is possibly the most important area for next season because QB will be average at the very best. If Edwards runs like he did for most of last year then we're going to struggle moving the ball. You have to plan for these possibilities.

His main issue is pass protection, which is a big one, but he says he understands this and has been working at it.

Im not a gambler but if Hayden goes somewhere and starts I'd bet on him rushing for 1000 yards.

Reads like Sanderson had to…

Reads like Sanderson had to deal with a program that fell off culturally. Bad team, disrespectful players, and the father coach shielding his son from discipline.

I just have a hard time buying Howard's story because Sanderson had no issues I knew of where as Howard had multiple fights/near fights on the court alone.

I still think it should've been handled differently. No reason Sanderson shouldn't be working with Dusty right now. Even if Sanderson escalated the locker room incident, it doesn't even sound like there was a fight.

BS Harbaugh hate. Even if…

BS Harbaugh hate. Even if Harbaugh was staying at Michigan he would say JJ is the best. Kelly would say Daniels is the best. Lincoln would say Caleb is the best. It's what coaches do for their players.

College Basketball Reddit…

College Basketball Reddit had a post about this but mods deleted it within like half an hour.

Whoever hired the PI firm and strategically leaked our info played their hand very well. Nobody seems to care unless all the big sports reporters touch on it.

I wish Beilein could stay…

I wish Beilein could stay involved somehow. Maybe a small scouting gig or something.

He would be nothing without…

He would be nothing without 5 stars and he wouldn't have the NIL support or facilities to lure them here like he can st Kentucky. Kentucky basketball players live the high life.

Ryan Day shows up to the…

Ryan Day shows up to the yard sale in an effort to smooth things over with Jim. After they both talk, Day walks away feeling great and decides to peruse the items for sale. He finds a DVD copy of Signs. On the inside there's a note that says "To JH, my shooting star. The man who taught me everything. Sincerely, CS"

Ryan Day starts shaking out of anger. At this point he can barely see straight. He looks at Jim across the yard sale. Jim smiles and waves back. Ryan Day storms off to his vehicle with the Dvd in hand. Once inside of his vehicle he takes a few deep breaths, gathers himself, and drives off. A few blocks away he hears someone from the backseat say "That's a pretty good movie isn't it? You know I can't allow you to....STEAL MY SIGNS!!!!".

Dug would've been a blast to…

Dug would've been a blast to watch if only he was on one of the good michigan teams. I'm sure he'll be getting a big NIL offer.

If Juwan coached at almost…

If Juwan coached at almost any other school he'd probably be a lot more successful long term. Being able to attract guys like Shannon and Love, yet not get them because of reasons that basically only apply to Michigan is tough.

Losing Diabate and Houstan during their first year which was mostly developmental was a learning moment about cbb roster construction

Would be interesting to see him at a different school. If he went to a smaller school and attracted one of those big transfers he would be fine.

If I was Moore and I had…

If I was Moore and I had another dline candidate in waiting I would consider firing Scruggs just for this. That might sound excessive, but getting a DUI within your first 10 days is excessively stupid. It says a lot about him.

I thought background checks were being improved or does this only cover checking social media's? He had a previous DUI at Lousiville and was dismissed from the team before their bowl game. His team lost that game without him. You might think it's silly to judge him based off his playing days but he's only like 32 years old so it wasn't even long ago. Shouldn't be too hard to make sure he wasn't still drinking around town while at Wiscy.

Normally I'm not a big stickler but Michigan really needs to stop this constant flow of negative news stories.

He'll have to get used to…

He'll have to get used to choking in the tourney. That'll be a big change from what he's used to.

Your 2nd paragraph sounds…

Your 2nd paragraph sounds completely made up. Like some Elon hater fiction. You're basically claiming Space X has shadow management and Elon is too stupid to notice them defying him.

Lemme guess, he fires the same person every Tuesday and still hasn't noticed because he's soooooo stupid?

Your last part will be…

Your last part will be correct once Dug transfers. He's young and definitely has talent. If we had a good team we would all be hyped about Jr and Sr season Dug.

I would take Dallan Hayden…

I would take Dallan Hayden. Ryan Days use of RBs is awful and when I see Hayden run I think he would be really good at a school who actually uses him.

Even osu fans wonder why he hasn't transferred yet. He might think he'll finally get snaps after next season but OSU will likely seek another transfer back anyways once Judkins and Trey leave.

Ill take one Dallan Hayden…

Ill take one Dallan Hayden please. I've always thought he should get more snaps. He would've got a lot of snaps this season but then OSU got Judkins. If we get Alford and Hayden then OSU is in a hole at RB the following season.

Secondly, I hope Alford hire isn't sour grapes for Jordan Marshall. I have no clue what Marshall and Alfords relationship is, but usually the Ohio kids that choose Muchigan feel spurned by some OSU coach so I hope everything's all good there.

This would make the steelers…

This would make the steelers an even better landing spot for JJ. Sit behind Wilson for a year, maybe two if Rus plays good. IMO JJ is not a year 1 starter so it's fine if a team already has a starter for next season.

It'd be kind of weird for…

It'd be kind of weird for people in Colorado to celebrate the introduction of wolves and wolverines into my backyard in Michigan so I won't do that to them. I know the last time they voted on reintroducing wolves to colorado everyone voted no except for the capital. So basically the people who actually live in the areas these animals will be had no say which rubbed me the wrong way.

Wolverines aren't as much of a threat to livestock and pets as wolves but if I lived there I'd probably be a bit wary of having these new predators lurking.

He specifically said in the…

He specifically said in the locker room and back on campus so this video is irrelevant as it only shows on field.

I don't see any reason Saban would lie here. Roster full of cocky 5 star rich kids losing to Michigan after all the coverage leading up to the game was that Michigan was scared? That could cause some emotional outbursts.

If they aren't going to fire…

If they aren't going to fire him then they need to work with him. If he was able to get Shannon and Love or whatever transfers then the team wouldn't be this bad.

With Dug likely transferring, next years roster will be scary bad without major portal work.

He was most definitely a…

He was most definitely a burner his freshman year. He could take long runs to the house. But then he became addicted to Jim and added like 30lbs of straight muscle. Michigan staff joked about limiting his Jim time because he was getting so big.

If I read the article…

If I read the article correctly, Sanderson was willing to sit down with Howard and staff to iron things out, but instead Warde benched Sanderson completely and wouldnt allow him with the student athletes. So it seems he did want to stay but after being in an altercation with Howard and then Warde benching him he could see he clearly wasnt wanted.

When the jugs machine broke…

When the jugs machine broke down in practice one day, JJ knew there was only one way to rectallify the situation.

Only way he comes back is if…

Only way he comes back is if Michigan gets a new coach that can convince him to stay. Sucks because you can imagine how awesome it'd be to watch him play on a good team. And he's so undersized you know you're getting 4 years of him.

Sainristil mocked that high…

Sainristil mocked that high seems weird. He's the only one with a prospect rank outside of 100. Seems like a reach for CBS to rank him 100+,12th at his position, but then having him go 27th.

It's nice to see the NCAA…

It's nice to see the NCAA get bitch slapped but it pisses me off that the teams committing the worst form of cheating in CFB will get away with it. Buying a roster offers the ultimate advantage. NCAA should lift NIL rules if they can't enforce them.

Always blows my mind when…

Always blows my mind when people lose their storage units even though they have the money to pay the late fees OR the contents of the unit would pay off the cost of fees plus leftover cash.

I have family who let my great grandmas unit be sold off even though they knew she kept money and antiques inside of it. They also took her jewelry to a.....pawn shop.

Mazi might have thought "Oh well Ive got a nice NFL contract so it doesnt matter" but that's not a good way to look at money.

Wouldn't make any damn sense…

Wouldn't make any damn sense to leave. Not like he would improve his draft stock there or something. Already gonna be a top 10 pick.

We're nearing rock bottom…

We're nearing rock bottom. As things sit right now, Dug will transfer, and next season will be even worse. Perfect time for a new coach because we won't have any players to even worry about transferring due to a Howard firing. Shoot, with a new coach it's possible we could keep Dug and get him straightened out in the class room.

Didnt say it wasnt. Simply…

Didnt say it wasnt. Simply adding a little more information to the conversation. Im leaning tampering because I think it's a widespread issue, but it's possible he reached out to Bama.

Courtney Morgan was Sabb's…

Courtney Morgan was Sabb's main recruiter at Michigan. Morgan followed Deboer to Washington and then to Bama. Probably got a text from Morgan after Downs left and Moore returned.

Grant, Graham, or Johnson…

Grant, Graham, or Johnson entering the portal would do a solid job of further killing CFB for me. Leaving for no real reason other than money is frustrating for multiple reasons. Leaving after a championship is mind-boggling. You'd think they would want to cement their legacy at their championship school.

Not a good move. Shouldn't…

Not a good move. Shouldn't pay coaches champion money unless they win a championship.

Sark is a Ewers injury and Arch Manning bust away from a fall from grace.

Howards recruiting is awful…

Howards recruiting is awful. The big names he gets leave after 1 year to go ride pine in the NBA. Diabate and Jett are doing nothing in the NBA. Houstan is barely making it. I'm probably missing someone, but I think his only truly good job recruiting was Dug and Hunter. And Hunter was primarily recruited by Beileins staff like Washington and Eisley. Franz doesn't count as that's a Beilein guy.

Michigan sucks for transfers, but at the same time it's Howard's job to go after transfers we can actually get.

Howard is failing in literally every aspect of his job. Michigan could and should get NIL/transfer issues worked out, but with Howard at the helm it won't matter.

This is stupid. Hopefully…

This is stupid. Hopefully they can make an NIL offer, explain how much playing time he'll have, and get him to come back. Makes no sense to leave this defense.

Not saying I completely…

Not saying I completely disagree, but Minter was plan B and he worked out great. Jim chose MacDonald over Minter first go around.

Detroit Pistons and Detroit…

Detroit Pistons and Detroit Mercy both had a stretch of 0-26 during their seasons. Detroit basketball is pitiful.

JJ would be an undisputed…

JJ would be an undisputed top QB if he eliminated the complete blunders he occassionally makes. Like the almost INT to start the Bama game, 4 INTs vs Bowling Green, pick sixes vs TCU, some dangerous cross body throws, etc.

Those few headscratchers are the main knocks on him IMO

He's going to spy for us…

He's going to spy for us. OSU are such fools.

6'3 200lb athlete. Mid 4…

6'3 200lb athlete. Mid 4 star. Not many notable offers. Probably another one of those gems Jay would find. Not a big loss on paper, but the Harbaugh regime was great at finding these guys.

Gonna have to reboot, replace our recruiters/scouts like Jay and Partridge and build some new relationships.

Saying Dickinson was a…

Saying Dickinson was a program cancer sounds like a rumor some coping UM fan made up when Dick decided to transfer.

Juwan failed to provide a good enough roster to keep Hunter around. If I was In his shoes I'd take the 3 million or whatever and go compete for a title at Kansas too.

There is one caveat to your…

There is one caveat to your rotation strategy and it mainly applies to people who have had Netflix all this time. If youve been a Netflix "Basic Plan" subscriber for a while then your monthly charge is only $11. The Basic Plan isnt an option anymore for new subscribers. The new standard plan is $16 or you have the $7 with ads option. The second a Basic Plan member cancels Netflix they will lose their cheap Basic deal and would have to pay for the Standard plan in the future.

I imagine more streaming sites will start using this method of slightly lower pricing for recurring subscribers in order to encourage people to not service hop.

Were Minter and MacDonald…

Were Minter and MacDonald big into recruiting? Didn't seem like it. Martindale seems like a solid candidate considering he knows the system very well.

If they are classified as…

If they are classified as employees, then they better be ready for the responsibilities that come with it. Soon there will be no more "Unpaid student athlete" excuses to shield them from criticism for on field play or off field conduct. They should be judged the same as any professor, janitor, or office employee would be judged. There is so much that comes with labelling student athletes as employees.

This would sound better if…

This would sound better if the man doing it wasn't connected to the university that he's supposed to want the best for.

Harbs has already taken the gut punch coaches. He can leave us the replacement guys. Continuing to take from the staff comes off as him not giving a single F about how things go at Michigan now that he's gone.

Omg just get fucking NIL set…

Omg just get fucking NIL set up. We couldn't give the kid like 10k to survive for a while?!?!?
