Harbaugh Garage Sale - Any MGoThrifters Out There?
Surprised this wasn't posted already. Perhaps I missed it but didn't see anything on the first two pages but it looks like the Harbaugh's had a garage sale over the weekend. It sounds like he was selling anything you could fit into a bag for $20. Anybody pick up some of his M gear. I didn't see to many treasures in the photo - looks like your typical garage. Can you think of any other coach or celebrity even that has a garage sale? Never change coach.
Any other MGoThrifters out there? What do you thrift for? Where do you go to find some good stuff?

Here is the photo from the sale.
It appears Jim had an impressive snow globe collection. Obviously not needed in San Diego.
As Yogi Berra would say, San Diego is not in San Diego anymore.
Global cooling?

Not a fan of that facade.

Jim selling off his vinyl! (lower corner)

Or is Sarah selling off Jim's vinyl without Jim knowing?
Upvote for posting a link correctly. I know lots do it right but it's starting to feel rare.
Same here. I gave him a pass for the needless apostrophe. (Harbaugh's? WTF? Why does that happen?)
I am not going to lie. I am really going to miss Harbaugh and all his crazy off the wall things he does. Mowing the lawn, yard sales, feeding his chickens, etc........
Absolutely unhinged
Thank you for not lying, Boner.

If he’s at all like Pinocchio, I concur with your statement.
I'd like an update on the chickens. Would anyone be surprised to hear that he'd rented a U-Haul and drove them out to LA? Jim driving, Jack riding shotgun with a Triptik from AAA and a cooler full of sandwiches that Jackie prepared.

Hahaha. I could totally see him doing that. Epic

I always pictured Harbaugh as more of a Family Truckster type of guy.

Damn--that looks like metallic pea!

This makes me feel like there should be a National Lampoon movie starring Jim Harbaugh in the Clark Griswold role as the family sets out on a road trip to San Diego.
Edit: I can’t believe I said San Diego. Although it would make a good ending for the movie.

A perfect ending to that movie would be Harbaugh holds Tony Pettiti hostage with a bb gun and says I never wanted to move to San Diego in the first place and turns around and makes a return trip to Ann Arbor where he announces he is returning to be the head coach.
No. It's perfect. So the Harbaugh entourage arrives in San Diego and heads to the stadium but there's no one there to greet them except a security guard who informs him that the team moved to Los Angeles years ago. To which Harbaugh exclaims, "There's been a horrible mistake!"
The moose outside should have told them.
I’m sure that they are going to Wally World.

Logged in just to upvote. Hysterical. Jed and Uncle Jethro driving to California with feathers flying out on the highway behind them
He said in a interview he is giving the chickens away to a person who holds the record for owning the longest living chicken. I think it was an interview with a local Los Angeles reporter on the day of the Chargers press conference if you really want to find it on Youtube.
I bought a few at the sale. It turned out Jim was getting rid of the Nervous ones.

...sewing his children's clothes...
Extraordinary
Can someone get me a pair of JC Penney khakis while you're there?

See if Ryan Day's soul is in one of the pockets. I know Jim took it a few years ago, and I'm guessing he doesn't have much use for it in LA

Hear me out. The Harbaugh is always known for better defense than offense. What if he hires Ryan Day as an OC to the Chargers! BOOM!

Do they not have third and short in the NFL?
I attended Mike Boyd's garage sale after he took the job at Cleveland State. There was a lot of junky M gear and other trinkets and trash, nothing worth purchasing or even mentioning. I was pretty disappointed.
He always struck me as more of the hoarder type
Rather than moving into a permanent home before the facility is finished, he suggested that his family should move into a trailer park by the ocean. Harbaugh wants to live the next few months in their RV.
I can hear him saying, "Hey honey, let's move into a van down by the river like Matt Foley!"
I know a full prof at UCLA, married to a full prof in Australia and splitting his time between the two places, who lives in a trailer park in LA. Pretty sure the plot itself is worth at least a million.
There's a trailer park in Malibu with multi-million dollar trailers because.....Malibu. The park is on a bluff so the views are spectacular. Over the years many celebs have lived there. Here are current listings.

That makes the lot on Lake Michigan for $700,000 sound like a bargain. It comes with a parking pad for an RV. Not that it isn't a beautiful lot........

I used to work in Malibu. One of my coworkers was legendary for living next to Barbra Streisand. She had a mansion and he had a trailer. It helped that he bought his place in the 60s when Malibu was somewhat still affordable. Babs used to complain to him that he was playing his stereo too loud.
I’ve been to Paradise Cove a few times for lunch. It’s a really beautiful spot. We had lunch at a restaurant with beach seating. They literally put beach chairs around a picnic table in the sand. Very relaxing. Anyway, that’s where I was introduced to the “Arnold Palmer.” At first I gave my colleague a questionable look for ordering an alcoholic beverage at lunch. And then I found out it’s just lemonade and ice tea. I’ve been ordering those ever since.
He s
He does have a trailer and is actually living in it. at the 2 min mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iezcAIMH_b0&t=146s
Based on the picture, it looks like the Harbaugh family has the same addiction to gimmicky Amazon electronics as I do.
Probably hanging onto their tents.
That's just so....Harbaugh. Glad we had our time with this National Treasure. And what a time it has been.
There were no used vacuums for sale.
Tom Crean was willing to take them if Harbaugh didn’t I believe

Garge sale.....they couldn't have just donated this stuff to charity?
March 20th, 2024 at 11:15 AM ^
Or sell the stuff that can be sold and donate the money to charity. That seems more in line with the Harbaughs.

Real men don't run garage sales. Mrs. Harbaugh ran it. Probably to ensure it was done properly...........
