I'll be honest, OSU getting ranked ahead of Michigan is understandable and not too surprising. They have wins against ND and PSU who maybe aren't great, but are better than any of Michigan's wins.

Now them being ranked ahead of Georgia is a little odd, since it seemed impossible for people to rank Georgia anything lower than 1 and even though they've struggled against teams, so has OSU.

Agree. This is a ranking based on the season so far. Michigan has looked the best, but OSU has the best two wins, and I can't really argue with that.

All Michigan needs to obtain two better wins than Ohio State's is to win. Win out and Michigan will be #1.

And if, as I have stated I believe, Michigan is the best team in the country, they will. If Michigan is not, they won't, but it will be settled on the field.

Bushwood,

M is absolutely 22 points better this year. That, coupled with 18 -23 year olds who are tired of all the "talk" now have even more incentive and determination to bury Day and the players.

I don't see Harbaugh pulling starters as early, no matter the lopsided score. I believe the program is wanting to not only show their superiority, but, now, also want to remind Day why you shouldn't fuck with the bull.

NCAA out there trying to convince everyone that OSU is the favorite in the Big Ten instead of Michigan.

If Michigan's remaining games all become a ref show (more than usual), then we know the fix is in...

I can't say I'm surprised. They have wins - albeit close ones - over PSU and Notre Dame.

Just another chance for our boys to feel slighted and use it as motivation.

Not really, I live in Georgia and my wife is a fan so I watch a good amount of thier games too. They step on thier own dicks a lot and wait for the team they are playing to eventually screw up and they take advantage. Dont screw up and you won't have that problem with them.

Now all the buckeye fans who claim ND is a CFP team and PSU who struggled against Indiana and Wku who would win the west and Wiscy who may not win the west….,would all beat Georgia! Lots of ands and a run on sentence. But when in Ohio.

Reality is they care who you’ve beaten not how you’ve played.  They’ve looked like bad but farted out two quality wins.  We have looked impressive while steamrolling dreck.  The latter will get you lots of points in predictive metrics but not here.  Anyway no one ever thought we were getting in with even one loss against this schedule so it’s all academic.

The who you've beaten not how you played only matters for certain teams and OSU is one of them. The committee wouldn't haven't ranked Michigan #1 had they played OSUs schedule and won like they did. But we know OSU would have been #1 winning with margin like Michigan has and coming off a 49-0 win over a rival.

Great. OSU starting at #1 is a great place for them to still get in with 1 loss.

although I wouldn’t mind seeing them get curb stomped in the playoffs. They really don’t look very good this year
