I'm referring specifically to the restraining order that Michigan threatened to file against the B1G and never followed through on. The conference clearly misapplied their own rule (based on how it's been used historically) and imposed a premature penalty that proceeded an incomplete NCAA investigation. It was also done so in a deliberate manner to maximize damage to the Michigan Football program by announcing the suspension a couple of hours ahead of a huge game at PSU.
Warde should have been leading the charge to support Harbaugh in the media and in the courtroom.
As he said, little to nothing. He should have been ready and willing to go to the matresses as other programs have with the NCAA regarding the Satlions shit storm.
It's mind numbing that administrators like Manuel want to assert control over true leaders like Harbaugh instead of getting the fuck out of the way and creating an environment that helps them thrive.
I saw a couple of Mariners games (Griffey!) and a Seahawks game (Kennedy!) there before they imploded it and you aren't lying...it was a concrete cave that couldn't keep it's ceiling tiles in place.

The thing I heard mention many times, by guys who played QB at both levels, is that it's much harder to be a passer in a run heavy offense because you aren't often afforded the chance to get in a rhythm, making what JJ did even more impressive.
I really want to believe this but the Flyers have been in a downward spiral for a while now. They have been better as of late so hopefully that trend continues tonight.
The Wings have to play with more energy tonight then they did the first two periods last night. We need some better goalie play as well.

While it's likely OSW doesn't have insider info, the fact that NHG is back on campus would seem to suggest the coaching staff probably didn't advise him to leave.

The Pens have 3 of their last 4 at home (Wings, B's, Preds and Isles).
The Isles have 3 of their last 5 at home (Rangers, Habs, Rangers, Devils, Pens)
The Caps won't matter since they're gonna lose tonight and be out of it.
At 4-2 tiebreakers are more likely to come into play and could make things messy where they might need help. The Wings own the tie breaker with the Islanders but have split so far with the Pens, Caps and Sabers.
Precisely, go 5-1 in the next 6 games and you're most likely in. They just can't drop any of those next 3 games. The Islanders and the Caps have pretty tough remaining schedules with 5 of the last 6 games being against teams either in the playoffs or in the hunt.
