So what do you guys think about the “Michigan Method”? I want to see two QBs and expect Orgi will be taking the largest portion of snaps. My only curiosity is the #2 guy. I thinks its between Denegal and Warren.
Transferring credit and NIL were largely the problem, however I think May will be a good coach going forward. Excited to see if we land some players with talent.
Maybe the opinion of the QB coach who says Orji is not the same guy when Campbell first saw him. I don’t get why we should disbelieve the ability of his coach to help him improve in passing. I expect the spring game to show promise.

I’ve got to say, stripping Michigan of almost all the effective coaching has me rooting against the Chargers. Not that it will make any difference but wow! I didnt think he would strip the team so badly.
No I didnt want Harbaugh fired. I believed my eyes watching him coach college and pros. You don’t lose knowledge and ability. He had issues getting the right assistant coaching. I also think The learning curve with Dom Brown was especially costly.
We all underestimate the difficulty getting the offensive recruits necessary to compete with OSU.
Covid was a weird season. This year, the last minute offer was all about CYA to the Michigan fan base. There is no other way to read it.
Great coaches don’t come along often for Michigan. I think the philosophy he laid down points the way forward. But that is yet to be seen. I still believe it.

Im so Pumped! Gonna be at my sons with the guys Watching his big screen. I have a good feeling. I want to see outside leverage when needed to keep the long fades to a minimum. Also the run game and TEs game for Bid Blue LETS GO BLUE!!!
I have no doubt, the OL will be fired up to play the Huskies. The motion and formation scheme that we saw against Bama was a work of art. Michigan averages 32 minutes possession a game. I see this encreased. The Sugar bowl saw the Huskies with 12 more minutes possession than Texas. That is brutal. Both teams had 10 drives. Texas punted 5 times and Washington 3. We need to stop 2 more drives or cause 2 FGs instead of TDs. Michigan will score more than 30 on these guys. The Pack 12 Ds are not Big Ten ready IMO.
Our Corners need to press the receivers. Oregon laid off and got receiver screened or shallow crossed. Minter will have our guys playing outside leverage on the deep fades. Vance Bedford said they run around 8 per game and complete 40%. Stop 2 or 3 of the deep completions can make the difference. Oregons D was awful in their championship game. I stopped watching it after becoming accustomed to ours. There is no comparison. Even Texas front end the the long horn D are slow and lack lateral speed. I’m excited and confident about the championship game. GO BLUE!

I don’t buy the expectation that Saban should be favored or that the Defense is the best in America. The stats on that defense isn’t top 10. They are down the list in most categories. And if the argument is , “well the SEC has the Best offenses of the Power 5.” Some will say. Well why aren’t there any top 10 offenses from the SEC?
I like what Vance Bedford has to say. “ If JJ brings his A game Michigan will win.”
Having coach Moore work with the OL for 3 weeks gives me confidence that some fine tuning will go a long way to shoring up pass pro. Also Michigan has faced a Milroe light with Marylands QB. Milroe is a more dangerous runner but we are not without exposure.
We could do well to remember that our D practices against JJ. I look forward to reviewing film on both of them in the coming weeks for further comparison.
lastly, I was encouraged by the reason stated for. Putting the wolverines as 1 seed. The “player leadership” that was demonstrated on their coach absence during the last three games got their attention and ours as well. GO BLUE!

Georgie pushed out by Bama, then Michigan and Bama and thier vaunted and talented QB. Sooner or later you have to beat the best to be the best. Saban is a great coach. And if this isn’t our year to deal with it I cant see it happening in my lifetime. Im not getting any younger and I waited for a team that had a shot. Michigan on defense needs to hold OSU to 2.5 yrds average on 1st downs. And pressure McCord often on 2nd and 3rd. He has a poor completion rate under pressure.
Michigan on offense needs to do a good job blocking on run downs. Blake and Dono will take care of the rest. Michigan does this and OSU will be off schedule and Michigan will control the game.

Its the biggest game of the year. We are on the road. We decide we will run the entire second half except for one pass. I know Im running the ball. Your defensive coordinator knows. Your players know and every person in the stands know. Yet you cant stop my team from winning. Thats how good my team is! Beasts every one!
I like the motion and misdirection presnap and hopefully not a lot of leakers on passing downs. Im sure we will see max protection to slow the Edge pressure but we know Penn Stae D will get some playes. We just can’t have free rushers on Jj.
Coach Bedford mentioned the need for receivers to get separation on Safeties.

The run game last year included the legs of JJ. That threat did aid our success I think. But some things have been held back I suspect for the last of the schedule. I predict more outside zones, design QB runs, bluff duo, stretch plays etc that will help the inside run game. From the start of the season I believed that he Penn State D line is vulnerable in the middle. And if they come down hill in the middle the passing and outside game will be there.
The threat of non compliance with any big ten preemptive action would grant pause IMO. I don’t see, given the money and tv contract impact, that even the thought of Michigan contemplating a different future is something the Big does not want. Emphasis on Preemptive.

There are tools to defeat a loaded box. Outside zone with Orgi throwing to a TE. Mid crossing, Outside hitches. Come on, have some faith.
QB decisions stand out. A simple throw away or check down goes a long way for capability of them to lead this offense.

Right on the Notre Dame game. We played to win at the end. We used 11 defenders.
