Yeah maybe but M dominated that game for the most part and the play calling was great...even the design of the run plays. Just sounds like you're taking away from the victory and making excuses for osu.

ok so you're good with giving up about 130 pts to osu in 2 games along with the drubbing by wisky (never gave the offense a chance). And, 3 TDs vs psu were from exploited mismatches in coverage which is a recurring theme with his defense. Notice on Wed how a freshman safety was left to cover the best WR in college football 1 on 1? How bout a slow safety getting torched twice by KJ Hamler? And Hudson on an athletic TE? Metellus getting embarassed by Hamler was a back breaker in that game.
more than just giving up lots of points. He's rolled up good defensive stats against lesser teams. Look at when they've faced osu, psu (with healthy McSorely and Barkley), Wisconsin with a competent QB, FL last year, FSU, etc. His D did ok yesterday but they were pretty much responsible for the other 3 losses this year IMHO.
NFL has it in theory but almost never overturns anything. You might as well call it the 'Saints rule' as it appears it was only put in place to appease the NO organization who obviously got royally screwed last year. Review officials probably got a mandate stating you don't overturn PI unless it's to that level of incompetency.
Brandy was a great color guy but horrible play by play. Makes you want to pull your hair out listening to him. I did like DD ripping into the offense and not sugar coating it on Saturday.
The pick on the throw near the goal line was on Shea. Under thrown and late. Unfortunately he just doesn’t seem to be consistently accurate. Put that ball where only Nico can catch it and it’s 6
No kidding. One of my biggest pet peeves is letting the ball hit on a punt if it's at all catchable. Peppers saved so much lost yardage by being aggressive on punts. Lost a ton of yardage this year already.
My biggest gripe with Holland was all the bad long, long contracts he gave out for decent but not great players: Ericksson, Helm, Abdelcador, Howard. Kind of handcuffed them. I don't fault him for Franzen. Guy was a playoff beast but just fell off after the big contract and then of course the concussion stuff.
Defense was a problem vs ND early on which put them in a big hole they couldn't crawl out of. Allowed Wimbush to run on them and complete some long 50/50 balls. They got it under control later but the damage was done.
I actually thought he would have been a good choice for UM football. They gotta move Brandy back to color and get someone else...he's awful as play by play.

Must have been an off year for LT's in the B1G cause Runyan was 1st team. Still a weak spot? I know he's not in the mold of past dominant LT's like Jake Long but he did improve alot.
Is 'Doctor' Brown still curled up in the fetal position in some corner? Haven't heard or read a peep out of him owning up to his D getting absolutely torched. Either need way better more athletic talent on D or a good non-gimmicky DC.
and WTH is 'sack time'? horrible call. I thought they should have given the job to Shep. Maybe they offered and he wanted to stick with bball. He would have been pretty good IMO. But yeah, JB needs to move over a chair for someone else.
