Per Baumgardner: Runyan good to go; OL is healthy

Oline looking to make a statement?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:17 PM ^
OL don't make statements to the press or public. They make statement by grinding their opponent into dust.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
Still waiting on that statement then.
September 18th, 2019 at 7:02 PM ^
So it's fair to say the OL took a vow of silence for the entire Clappy era?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:58 PM ^
The OLine's statement will be Patterson having all day to throw bombs and Charbonnet going for 200+
September 18th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
I’d like every player to conduct interviews like Perd Hapley after we win this game. “We wanted to make a statement, and that was, ‘we are good’.”
September 18th, 2019 at 12:48 PM ^
"We wanted to make a statement, in the form of a sentence, and the sentence that we wanted to form was that, 'We are good.'"

Who dropped a whole truckload of fizzies into the swim meet?
Who delivered the medical school cadavers to the alumni dinner?
Every Halloween the trees are filled with underwear.....every spring, the toilets explode..

How dare you mess with my BPONE!
September 18th, 2019 at 12:18 PM ^
I would like to read just one thread where BPONE isn't mentioned.
Please.
For my sanity and all of yours.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
Oh my!
September 18th, 2019 at 12:35 PM ^
BPONE has reached the "Oakland is still in play" level of overused MgoCatchphrases that are repeated endlessly until the humor has been completely hammered out of them.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
"Tacopants" is the worst. At least I understand "BPONE".
September 19th, 2019 at 9:27 AM ^
I could also do without MurderWolf. There is lots of silliness on this blog, but that's the price we pay for the good content.

Can you explain what you are afraid of? So your going to embrace living in a negative, depressed state for possibly years on end? That state will sap the joy out of every success the team has other than OSU because your afraid to take shit from some friends and family?
I take the Michigan defeats hard, but after a few days you have to reboot or following this team and college football is not for you.
I will never understand not being ready to pay when you check out at a store and I will never understand fans being constantly negative of the team they follow.
September 18th, 2019 at 9:13 PM ^
My State friends before the last couple of years really grinded me a lot in recent memory...especially after losses.
I learned to wake up the next day and realize my life was the same even with a loss, those guys however had to live their pityful lives even with a win realizing they would never match up with M at any level.
Don’t ever let BPONE survive the last whistle of the game.
September 18th, 2019 at 1:58 PM ^
I generally agree. For me it was the combination of the OSU shellacking and horrible, apathetic looking bowl game fiasco that followed it, that put me in this hold-pattern of getting enthusiastic about the football team. Until I see them starting to win more of these tough road games, beat OSU, and look like they have a pulse in the bowl game, I'm just going to keep my expectations very modest. I'll go to the games and cheer the team like always. But I'm done with the Kool Aid for now.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:26 PM ^
Has BPONE really ever not been a Michigan fan's thing. I mean even in the glory years of Bo, all those dang bowl game losses rendered us into BPONE.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:41 PM ^
You should just stop trying to be a fan.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:53 PM ^
Cut him a break. Mongo only pawn in game of life.
September 18th, 2019 at 3:45 PM ^
These are my feelings as well. I love Michigan football, but after last year I in no way expect them to win. I'll be happy when they do, but I'll be damned if I'll bet on it. I used to expect us to just not cover the spread against any opponent, and think games like MSU at home, Iowa on the road, PSU on the road, and our bowl games were exceptions to the rule. After last year I have no expectations, I'll need to see it to believe it. My buckeye coworkers don't even trash talk anymore. They say they're going to beat us this year, and I say yeah you probably will.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:04 PM ^
It's happening?
September 18th, 2019 at 3:02 PM ^
And yet what is so comically tragic about the use of BPONE is that once you introduce the term into the lexicon, it's very hard to get rid of it. The feeling is named, and so when one feels that particular way, divorcing the name from it is almost impossible.
Once you know saying Candyman into the mirror will get you killed, how do you actively go about not saying Candyman?
BPONE the name, not the emotion it represents, will undoubtedly be the existential crisis of our collective MgoLives.
Basically, we're fucked.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
Are you saying you have BPONE about the mgoboard?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:58 PM ^
That's exactly what I'm saying.
This place sucks now.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:23 PM ^
The board has become a cesspool of negativity and entitlement.
September 18th, 2019 at 1:00 PM ^
it just makes me think BPONE thugs n harmony
September 18th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
If you want back in BPONE, read this. OSU Rivals staff member reporting that Zach Charbonnet is out after required another knee surgery. I don't know how an OSU guy would have this first, and that is why I held off from creating a new thread, but the specificity of the tweet is troubling.
What I've heard is Zach Charbonnet is being scoped a second time to correct unfinished work from his spring procedure. Would likely miss a few weeks. This is not an attempt to troll. That kind of thing is not my cup of tea. Especially not reporting things such as injuries.

IIRC this dude has been banned from 11W and Bucknuts.
Also, lol at the idea that we would have left “unfinished” work on the knee scope that he enrolled early to get and sat out spring ball for.
September 18th, 2019 at 1:37 PM ^
I did not know he was banned from other OSU sites. Is he OSU's version of James Yoder?
The "unfinshed work" stuff didn't sound right either, and it just seemed a little strange coming from an OSU blogger. I hope this dude gets roasted if he is lying.

I remember Lamb from when he used to post on the scout boards. Tried to pretend he was an insider back then too

September 18th, 2019 at 12:19 PM ^
Is there anyone else besides DPJ we are still waiting to hear about? Turner is good. Dwumfor is pretty much doubtful, but might give it a go. Wilson I think was said to be questionable.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:42 PM ^
Jeter?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
Jeter played against Army a bit, and was also given press availability this week. He’s good to go.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:48 PM ^
Tru Wilson - haven’t heard an update on his status
September 18th, 2019 at 1:00 PM ^
Really need DPJ in the pint return game. And when did Dwumfour get injured? I swear I saw him play the first two weeks. Let me check the googles

The pint return game: "I asked for a Guinness! Take this back!"
September 18th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
In the interview with Shea, when they asked him about DPJ, he looked like he was gonna burst, so I have a feeling DPJ will play (Is DPJ practicing? Yeah as far as I know)
Edit: I honestly don't know what happened there. Brain fart, with diarrhea. My apologies.

Wth is DJP? Asking for a Michigan alum?
September 18th, 2019 at 1:20 PM ^
September 18th, 2019 at 1:22 PM ^
You haven't been paying attention. DJP is the key to the pint game.
September 18th, 2019 at 1:31 PM ^
Lol. I’m sorry. I definitely need to study more.
