This will be the thread for takes regarding the overall coaching performance.

Many of them. Michigan remains a very rich program with resources only a few schools can match. If you have a record of success and believe in yourself as a coach then you want an opportunity with the resources to compete for a national championship.

Where we are now is not the result of underlying institutional problems. Or an unwillingness to commit resources. It is the result of the failure of the Head Coach to perform. Six years is long enough to know that for a fact.

People who say "change my mind" already are so set in their ways that they aren't going to change their mind.  Lucky for you, nobody wants or needs to actually change your mind!

Edit: I'd remove the comment as it came off as dickish and I apologize but I am keeping it here for context of understanding the comment chain

Fire Harbaugh tomorrow, so we can move to the head of the line for the coaching carousel.

Name Bob Shoop as the interim, but retain Gattis and Brown as coordinators. This will make it crystal clear no one is being retained at the end of the season, and the new HC will have a free hand to hire his staff.

Hope as many remaining games as possible are cancelled.

Expect 2021 to resemble RichRod's first season. We aren't even Iowa for the foreseeable future, and may never move past that.

Something is clearly up with Harbaugh. I'm not going to speculate what it might be, but he is not nearly the same man he was a few years ago. The decline is precipitous.
