I have watched the University of Michigan teams play sports for forty years. From football to field hockey, I have seen them all. This has been the single most disappointing team of any that I have ever seen. Words can not express the utter nonsense that this team has put forth. After being a team? for 30+ games this season they still look at each other on defense after scores like they don’t know what each other is doing. Late game mistakes that should have been ironed out months ago. I know this team is young and without key players but the upperclassman were making some of these mistakes. Hopefully they can look themselves in the mirror and learn from this tremendously underwhelming experience. I am just glad this ridiculousness is over for this season.
I will still watch the tournament. March Madness is one of those events I just can’t ignore. I won’t let this years Michigan team ruin that for me. I feel as though I owe it to my self to enjoy the tournament after having my eyes bleed for 32 games this season.
1) Lose their matchup in the BTT in 4 OT’s after losing leads of 7 in regulation with under two minutes to go and leads in every over time frame.
2) Everybody of importance (Jett, Kobe, Hunter) leave even though they are late first or second round picks or are deemed not draft worthy.
3) Fail to acquire necessary components via the portal due to admissions or general incompetence.
4) Start next season with Tarris Reed and (insert name here).
5) Storyline will be how close Michigan was in the 2022-23 season but just couldn’t finish games when it counted and now have to completely start from scratch in 2023-24.
I think the Big Ten as a whole is shitty at the game of basketball this year. Can’t wait to get nine or ten teams in the tournament and have them evicerated in two days.
I think coach Howard does a great job with the X’s and O’s. My only disappointment is the end of half/game calls and plays following a timeout. It seems like everybody is on a different page in those scenarios.
I think we should try to game plan for Hunter to attempt 32 shots. Even though he misses 4 or 5 bunnies a game he still would have 27 more shots at it. Better than having Twill and Dug brick threes and miss floaters.
Also, Terrance Williams needs to look himself in the mirror. Todays performance was unacceptable. I am sure he’s upset by how he played but dear god man.
Give up 26 points to some shithead named sandfort who probably won’t score 26 points in the next 6 games. Sound like something that would happen to Michigan.
It would only be true Michigan if he made a four point play to set up overtime… oh wait.
And throw up a prayer over his shoulder on an air ball while getting fouled… oh wait
