What sad news. I suppose it's for the best but I wanted to see them play. How do you pass on watching the best rivalry in football. I realize the prospects weren't that great but the players lose the chance to play in "The Game".
For better or worse, and still liking Jim for his UM ties and attitude, It's time for Um to move on. I don't think Jim can accomplish more than he has on the field.
So after all the talk about Urban paying players and all the remarks about how it was terrible, where is the fear about a reoccurence here? Insert Guffaws!
It always chokes me up to see all the references, no matter how misguided, to the possibility of hiring a coach from the Ohio State program. After all the whining and moaning about payoffs directed at them.
