He didn't "say" anything....had tweets that he liked or re-tweeted. Guy would still have a job if he was caught drunk driving, assaulting a police officer, or getting into a bar fight. But hey, we live in a world where clicking a button is violent and extreme. Fun times.

Guy would not have a job at UM Football if he had a DUI. I can think of one well known coach let go by the university. Tweeting is the new saying now..that is the point. Re-tweeting is similar. If you can't see the issue with hiring someone who supports vile comments in Twitter against a group of people based on race and color, don't know what to tell you. He will be recruiting people of the same race. How would that work? Forget recruiting. Is this the kind of society we want to live in?

This seems like a massive failure of vetting on the part of the athletic department and the University. You would think that in a multi-million dollar, public-facing operation like athletics that you would check out the social media activity of any prospective hire, particularly to such a visible role, so I find it difficult to believe it was simply overlooked. His Twitter was utterly batshit and rife with bigotry, and there is no way someone who publicly espouses the things he was espousing should have a role at Michigan or any public institution.
Again, what did he espouse? I’m genuinely curious because I like to know for myself what someone says.
No one will present examples to let people make their own conclusions beyond nebulous “it’s hateful bigotry” claims.
EDIT: It’s called research where you present evidence and reach your conclusion based on findings. If he’s saying some crazy stuff, shouldn’t we at least know what it was?

I agree with this, though I could see how it all went down. This kid is probably a friend of multiple people in the program, and his resume made a speed run, right past the DD people, to HR processing. A good lesson for those involved, likely including Harbaugh.

Those who don’t want to go back and find what I wrote here is a summary: Shemy was a son defending his father. Agree or disagree with that action he was responding in a way most of us can understand. I did also say that I would not have hired him.

What the Fuck Welfare state even mean? Literally, every fucking state run by politicians who condone welfare programs get the most from Federal Govt. Contributed by the States who support welfare programs, may be with a couple of exceptions. This whole welfare programs and State comments are just talking points created by self serving politicians, who would not hesitate to get support from government if it suits them.
