A link between the SIGN STEALING and the death of Matthew Perry cannot be ruled out, anonymous sources revealed to the Athletic.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:55 AM ^
Hope Thamel doesn’t hear about this connection

Thamel reporting that five anonymous "friends" demand immediate justice
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:51 AM ^
Stupid double post
My internet at work sucks
BTW is anyone else wondering why, if Stalions was a 21 point or whatever advantage, that vegas wouldn't be adjusting upcoming Michigan spreads accordingly? Instead, Michigan is as heavy a favorite as ever
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:57 AM ^
Sources also mentioned to SI that there have been some murmurings about connections with Bobby Knight's passing as well.
Some kind of link with Covid also not ruled out yet.
Possibly a Jan 6th angle too I heard.
And apparently there is a Stalions-Cobain picture floating around now.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:07 AM ^
Stalions was on the grassy knoll.
Stalions accepted 30 pieces of silver as part of a conspiracy to have a Jewish carpenter killed.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:11 AM ^
Apparently the video with the carpenter is really grainy. I don't think that part is going to stick.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:10 AM ^
I mean, if anyone was part of the insurrection on Jan. 6 it would've been Knight trying to save his buddy, Trump.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:15 AM ^
No the Knight and Jan 6 stuff are apparently unrelated. Sources pointing toward some kind of advanced scouting. Unclear if Stalions involved. Possibly a second staffer and connections with JJ interceptions against BG. Did hear Matt Weiss' name though and a cryptic reference to Shane Morris concussion.
Still developing. Sounds bad though.

Sources: Connor Stallions reportedly outside Colorado’s locker room at halftime during UCLA game, authorities investigating jewelry theft
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:46 AM ^
That guy said that Clemson was going to announce their departure from the ACC during the month of October. Let me just check the calendar real quick...
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:47 AM ^
I think they do these every week, like with the coaches on Wednesday. Everyone on that platform wants to be that guy/girl who trends with info and they know it's going to get national exposure.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:51 AM ^
Should be a wild scene.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:53 AM ^
Gonna go out on a limb here and say this wasn’t worth a thread. Or even being posted anywhere on this blog at all.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:56 AM ^
I wasn't aware they do these every week as some of you have pointed out. Mods please delete this thread
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:01 AM ^
I don't think it matters at this point. This is the wild west of thread posting.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:56 AM ^
There seems to be merit to this. Even though this is a normal occurrence the coaches all crying on the phone last night is going to be the main topic. If I'm Michigan and they try to pull some shit I'm go scorched Earth. I threatened lawsuit and exit to go to the SEC. James Franklin and Ryan Day have rallied the other coaches against Michigan and are wanting to fuck them out of the conference championship and playoff.
November 2nd, 2023 at 9:58 AM ^
I think that call may have been LAST THURSDAY… maybe I read that wrong
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:04 AM ^
Great example - the B1G once again demonstrating leadership through driving - by navigating via the rear view mirror.
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:23 PM ^
I’ve said it before, the Big Ten needs Michigan more than Michigan needs the Big Ten. If the conference wants to fuck around then I totally agree. I would probably enjoy UM games in the Southeast more than Indiana, Michigan State or Rutgers anyway.
The new age of College Football has already arrived. It’s time for the University to defend itself and our great coach/team.

Next you'll be telling us there are rumors of football games being played on Saturday.
Which I will not believe unless sourced from some rando on Twitter.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:05 AM ^
Is Michigan-Purdue being played at night to allow Connor Stalions time to attend the noon OSU-Rutgers game? HOW DEEP DOES THIS SCHEDULING SCANDAL GO?

Not after November in Michigan
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:08 AM ^
This dude posted,"rumors" of a meeting! Glad I drank my OVALTINE!!!
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:18 AM ^
Not sure how credible this guy is so I labeled it a rumor. Most people have had at least 1 bad thread. This was mine and I'll take my well deserved negging.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:20 AM ^
It's all good. You would definitely be correct! I definitely stepped on my Mgoblog house shoes before. +1 to you for being a trooper
November 2nd, 2023 at 11:13 AM ^
I got my bad thread out of the way in like 2008 or 2009. I think it was called "Musburger Mentions Michigan" and it was about a Brent Musburger video where he briefly talks about Michigan football. It sucked.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:16 AM ^
that guy is a fucking Twitter hack, he'll post anything for a click
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:16 AM ^
my infant took a dump in his diaper today.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:18 AM ^
Yes, I received the agenda, one of the bulletpoints:
Tomorrow is Hawaiian Shirt day.
So if you want, you can show up to work at your athletic departments wearing a Hawaiian shirt. . .
and jeans.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:19 AM ^
Everything gets cured by smashing Penn State and Ohio State.
November 2nd, 2023 at 11:14 AM ^
This. Right here.
This is truly Michigan‘s best, and possibly only defense right now. Especially their only defense in the court of public opinion.
Go out there and beat the ever loving shit out of everyone you play. The team might still get punished when this is all said and done, but you at least can prove that the sign stealing is not why you won.
Winning has a way of shutting everyone up. And if Michigan wins now, after all of this is out in the open, then what’s going to be your opponent’s excuse then?
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:23 AM ^
I just started a rumor that literally nothing will come of this, as there was no rules violation in the first place, and even if the NCAA or B1G wants to pretend there was one, it was incredibly minor, and literally every team tries to do it every game.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:28 AM ^
“We should just go to the SEC so we can cheat without other fan bases and couches complaining!” - MGoBoard (probably). lol
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:42 AM ^
Couches...
Staee is gonna burn couches regardless, don't see that changing.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:57 AM ^
The only difference is now the couches will start complaining about it. About time.
November 2nd, 2023 at 12:07 PM ^
There is a perfectly logical explanation for why it's dangerous to be a couch in EL. I'm surprised more people aren't aware of it.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:29 AM ^
I dunno. I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this. I'm picking up an angry mob vibe.
I hope I'm wrong, but if this picks up steam it definitely won't go well for Michigan in particular, or college sports in general.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:38 AM ^
the angry mob would need to be prepared to have the magnifying glass focused on them if they get their way. No way Michigan goes quietly if punishment goes down.
November 2nd, 2023 at 11:12 AM ^
Michigan has been pretty quiet this far.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:49 AM ^
SEC coaches whined about Texas A&M. Saban publicly slandered them. Nothing happened. Coaches can whine all they want. At the end of the day, winning cures everything. Or a new scandal takes over the news cycle. I am waiting for a scandal to break at a different university
November 2nd, 2023 at 1:12 PM ^
Hopefully we've hired private investigators to look into Penn State and OSU.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:58 AM ^
I thought I'd see "This calls for immediate discussion"
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:33 AM ^
Thamel caveats apply, but if there is any truth to the report then the conference call was not a benign one.
November 2nd, 2023 at 12:40 PM ^
Why are people posting Thamel links? Don't click on his clickbait. Just don't do it
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:35 AM ^
People called for me to get banned for sharing another update from my source a few days ago.
I will be ready for the apologies whenever y'all are ready. Doubt if you want but Balas is spinning this, and I told you what was actually happening.
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:42 AM ^
Serious question. What is the thing you posted that is happening?
November 2nd, 2023 at 10:46 AM ^
Basically that the extension was being jammed through by Ono to add language protecting the school whereas the "insiders" were framing it as "fighting back." That Jim and the administration are squarely not on good terms despite contrary reporting, and some other stuff.
"All in all, they’re trying to work it through quickly and frame it positively (I.e. as “fighting back.”). The goal is to finalize this before any/much more comes out.
If it turns out Stalions was at MSU CMU, there is fear that Jim would be implicated as being aware - it is nearly impossible for staffers to…go “awol”…the night before a game…without HC input. Accordingly, that development could lead to the B1G officially opening an investigation. They want these ducks in a row before that happens. Time will tell. Go blue. "
