Okay, wait. If the meaningful quote is “someone should have known” I’m not really buying it. Let’s assume all the details of ticket purchases are true. That is a TON of evidence that Stalions spent a lot of time and money in this. But that does not mean that someone “should have known.” I think I can wait to see what the new thing actually is.

Maybe I’m missing something, isn’t the issue with the letter of the law (method) rather than the spirit of the law? What could he have done with respect to the rule that was so bad to get fired? Wasn’t the initial, before stalions, that Harbaugh knew about it or was involved?

There is no news yet though, is there? Just the Big Ten saying that someone should have known. If the Big Ten had incontrovertible evidence that puts Harbaugh in a bad light, I don’t feel like they would have “asked” Ono to suspend Harbaugh. And I feel like this overwhelming evidence would have been leaked by now, as so much else us already come to light.

The fact that President Ono declined to suspend Harbaugh speaks volumes. As for the other half ass, cryptic messages from Balas looking to maximize clicks, fuck him. Seriously, say it or don't, but the intent is self-serving. No way in hell Santa is putting his neck on the line, if he sees a hint of evidence against Harbaugh. My money is on him accurately evaluating the situation and trusting his decision to stand pat and support Harbaugh.
