Need a link or this is a worthless post
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:21 PM ^
The bad news will drop tomorrow on Gameday. Someone will get another text in real-time, and report it on air. Just my hunch.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:28 PM ^
My thought is that if Harbaugh is not suspended tonight…the B1G will definitely not suspend him on gameday.

Are we still getting bent out of shape over behavior that would be legal and fine if video was posted online by fans? Has everyone lost perspective on the trivial nature of the alleged infraction, even if the worst case picture is true?
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:59 PM ^
Not just if video was posted online, but — correct me if I've missed something — would have been/was unquestionably 100% legal if Stalions was already doing it when he first worked with the program on a volunteer basis.
You know, hindsight is 20/20, but I can honestly see a path where it's plenty reasonable for Stalions to have believed he was operating in a valid loophole, which would explain his apparent brazenness.
November 3rd, 2023 at 11:11 PM ^
Up to the point where he attended games in person in disguise, if that is what he did.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:22 PM ^
FUCK TRUSTAGE!
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:28 PM ^
As active as today's threads...
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:24 PM ^
God it's never ending, just release everything and be done with it, please.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:43 PM ^
Well that's the good or bad thing about coordinated PR. You never have to release everything because you can always gin up a new rumor.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:31 PM ^
I just paid a $ to learn nothing. There is literally no information shared.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:34 PM ^
But you paid, so mission accomplished.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:41 PM ^
$1. Then immediately cancelled. They can enjoy 1/10th of a Starbucks, on me.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:35 PM ^
He literally just says "it's bad." "My source wouldn't tell me what it was." "
and then defends himself a bunch.
Honestly it's super unprofessional if nothing else.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:39 PM ^
Balas really is a message board poster-level guy at this point. Like, even the Day/PI stuff had some validity but only in the broad strokes it sounds like.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:58 PM ^
Its exactly what Hole is doing except saying its good. People just like good news better so that gets upvoted
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
Is it 7:30pm EDT on Saturday yet?
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:39 PM ^
Ryan Day is no longer a pussy?
November 3rd, 2023 at 11:55 PM ^
That'll never happen
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:42 PM ^
I’m sure it’s just the same stuff but Balas went to Twitter and posted an article

November 3rd, 2023 at 8:52 PM ^
yeah this basically sums up the gist of what's going around the boards.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:45 PM ^
Harbaugh was caught peeing on hookers from Ohio?
November 3rd, 2023 at 11:34 PM ^
Not against ncaa rules.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:48 PM ^
Without divulging specifically what is being said on the ON3 boards, reading tea leaves it sounds like this is either:
1- Something new that we don't know.. ie. a coach or coordinator knew about it
2- Evidence of Stallions actually at a game
IMO, it always seemed unlikely that literally NO ONE knew. I do not think Harbaugh or the coordinators knew, but other low level staffers? Interns? I bet someone did. People talk and Stallions seems like someone to brag based on some of his leaked texts.
With regards to whether Stallions attended games personally or not, I know a lot of Michigan fans were holding out hope that he didn't, but if he did, and no coaches knew about it, I am not sure how much it moves the dial?
To be clear, this is just my opinion based on the vibe coming from Balas. Not something he explicitly said or even implied. I just don't know what else would cause him to be so doom and gloom all of a sudden.
Sigh.. We will see..

It moves it exactly 0%.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:05 PM ^
That's my thought as well.
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:26 PM ^
I think it is the second simply because Harbaugh is still coaching tomorrow. I have no proof though
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:49 PM ^
So what I'm getting is big ten has more evidence given to them, but originally past evidence was given to the ncaa?
Why would this be? Why not go to the ncaa with new evidence. Smells fishy.
Also Connor resigned, wasn't fired. If it were bad evidence, wouldn't they have fired him?
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:53 PM ^
lol any evidence would be nice. I can almost guarantee it’s nowhere near damning though. Even that would be welcome because this has been infuriating. They cheated, let’s a summarily judge. Any proof? Nahhh
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:57 PM ^
It sounds like they are rolling with the "he should have known" card. Which... fine I guess? Hard to argue that. At this point, I am just happy to hear it seems like the worst that will happen is Harbaugh gets suspended and the team can still play. If you could tell me we could suspend Harbaugh and make the story go away and I can stop doom scrolling twitter, I would accept that deal lmao.
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:28 PM ^
I cannot imagine Harbaugh accepting blame if he didn't know. He would not accept it when they called him a liar about burger thing. So, I don't seem accepting a suspension if he didn't know about CS. I wouldn't if I didn't do anything wrong.
November 4th, 2023 at 5:30 AM ^
I can see Harbaugh accepting “he should have known”. Ultimately that’s gonna bring on some sort of punishment.
November 4th, 2023 at 8:29 AM ^
This probably won’t be well received around here, but if he refuses to take any modicum of responsibility, that comes off as kind of lame. He is the head coach after all. THAT SAID, the degree of responsibility he takes shouldn’t equate to significant suspension or firing. But accepting a degree of responsibility for not better monitoring staff and a brief suspension seems like a happy medium that hopefully puts some of this to rest for now. Just my two cents and I realize there may be implications from a PR or investigation standpoint that would lead to accepting no responsibility as the “better” option.
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:57 PM ^
Don’t bother, lotta denial on this board.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:13 PM ^
There's no evidence to confirm or deny so why would people on this board concede this?
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:45 PM ^
Other than an image of someone purported to be the SpyMaster on CMU’s sideline, which has not been proven either way yet, there’s been nothing submitted to the public other than allegations.
Purdue’s coach claims there’s evidence tickets were purchased…well…put it oit to the public. What games? Were the tickets scanned at the gate? Who was there?
Generally speaking, people react without everything being presented. If an until that happens, may the rest of the B1G be shut out.
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:07 PM ^
Bro, denial is after you have actual crimes committed. What are you saying? Take lumps for unsubstantiated claims? Prove it and the tune will change. You/they have had weeks
edit: trump card here is they would ejaculate anything worthy of evidence they have in day 1
November 3rd, 2023 at 8:59 PM ^
One thing I find odd is if they have overwhelming evidence, why would they not conclude their investigation and openly say what's up? Why would Ono still say no to suspending him if you have such evidence? Why would the B1G not suspend him if you have evidence that cannot be questioned?
It just seems odd that there's so much talk about how awful Harbaugh and Michigan is, but there doesn't seem to be any leaks of this overwhelming evidence and the conference isn't openly saying what happened.
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:00 PM ^
Because that is not how investigations work. You don't just stop at one piece of evidence
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:30 PM ^
You mean one piece of overwhelming evidence? LOL.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:07 PM ^
Maybe Balas' source is w/ the B1G... the phrase "overwhelming evidence" is certainly up for interpretation.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:10 PM ^
Sam says the Big Ten doesn’t just want him suspended “they want his head”. Didn’t say anything about new evidence and did say Michigan still isn’t conceding.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:13 PM ^
Welp- hello SEC
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
Big Ten meaning other coaches and AD’s? Or Big Ten Commissioner?? And where is Sam saying this?
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
For this? Okay
The conference demanding that a program fire a coach is…odd.
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
Not what I would do, but sounds like they want to settle for 2 games as a middle ground
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:20 PM ^
When did he say this?
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:32 PM ^
Yes tonight, more than ever, we need receipts from where the insiders are speaking from!
November 3rd, 2023 at 9:21 PM ^
I think Pettiti and the Big Ten are playing with fire honestly. This sort of trial by mob could sour Michigan to the Big Ten and as much as we’re usually a unified group, theres realistically 2-4 athletic departments carrying this whole league. Michigan could up and leave and the whole league would crumble
November 3rd, 2023 at 10:02 PM ^
2 departments - OSU and Michigan - carry the conference. Take one away and the conference withers. The PAC-12 additions don’t do squat. Without Michigan, those four teams are trading mediocre PAC-12 teams for mediocre Big Ten teams plus OSU. That formula didn’t bring riches or sustainability to the PAC-12 and now every athletic department in the new Big Ten just ballooned their budgets for a formula that won’t bring in another big contract without Michigan. The Big Ten commissioner is definitely playing with fire and that’s an understatement. He better pray that Nebraska returns to glory under Rhule.
