More bad news coming?

Insider boards (Balas mainly) are buzzing that there’s more damning evidence to drop

Seems like we are still in the space we were a couple weeks ago, with the only difference being Stalions resigning.  Stalions' acquaintances recorded sidelines in many games against future opponents.  That is not a violation of rules.  Is this incorrect?  It's a grey area and a loop hole in the rules.  The "spirit of the rule" was to protect financially disadvantaged smaller schools that couldn't afford similar luxuries.  So it's not even breaking that either.

And nobody knows if that was Stalions on the sidelines of the CMU-MSU game.  This is still the biggest unanswered question in all this.

I agree, it was a grey area of the rule. If Jim and staff did not know about Stallions activities, then it looks very minor. If Jim and staff knew and used the stolen signs to game plan then it could be more impactful. But it looks like Santa believes Jim over the so called proof that Jim should have known and is the reason he is coaching Tomorrow and will probably coach through the end of the season. The only thing the B1G could do is to keep Michigan out of the B1G championship game, which may keep them out of the playoffs. Michigan could sue the B1G if that were to occur.

Balas news seems like:  Big 10 spouts a bunch of stuff and says "someone should have known!"

Meh.

Big 10 coaches (and media hacks, and no-nothing fans) have been raving about "sign stealing" being illegal.  It isn't.  They whipped up a lot of noise, most of which is bogus.

All that's against the rules is "in-person scouting".

Was Stalions at an opponent's game?  If so, yes, that is not allowed.

A Baylor staffer got caught doing that.  The penalty was being suspended for half a game:

"A third Baylor assistant, Jeff Lebby, was found to have committed a Level III violation in 2015 for off-campus, in-person scouting when he spent part of the Tulsa-Oklahoma game on the Golden Hurricane sideline. This was a violation of NCAA rules regarding in-person scouting of a future opponent. Tulsa coach Philip Montgomery had previously worked with Lebby at Baylor and the two were friends. When Lebby was informed that his presence was a violation, he left the sideline and ultimately was suspended for a half when the Bears played Oklahoma last year."

Last paragraph of this article:

Someone took a mole hill and whipped it up (via a smear campaign) into a mountainous media circus.

If Stalions was at N games, OK, precedence is suspension of him for N/2 games.

If it's been turned into a witch hunt, well, the slavering enemy mob will go as far as you let them.  I'm glad Santa can realize what's going on and not fold.

You're getting downvoted, but more bad news game last night and Balas and Co. are all signing a different tune today.

Things are really bad. Even talk of this being Harbaugh's last game.

Just about everyone is resigned to the fact that this is a minimum of a two game suspension.

Or, the B1G says indefinitely. Michigan files an injunction and Harbaugh coaches through the season and leaves after this year. The NCAA wins and hits him with a show cause that prevents him from ever coaching in college again.

I personally get the sense that whatever happens...is happening by next Wednesday. Now there could be more that happens, but I think we'll know if Harbaugh is coaching the OSU game by Wednesday.
