If Warde allows Juwan to come back, that in and of itself should be a fireable offense.
I don’t give a fuck that he heads the CFP committee. This wouldn’t be tolerating mediocrity. That would be an insult to the word mediocrity. This would be tolerating utter incompetence and negligence. This would be tolerance of being a literal bottom feeder. This isn’t a program where you can sit there and say “Welp, this sucks, but this is kind of who we’ve always been so we’re just going to ride with it.” You were one of the most respected, consistent programs in the country not more than five years ago.
This isn’t Howard’s first year where there is still the promise of better days to come. I don’t know how you can sell me that the program will be any better next year. Your best player is probably on his way out the door.
This may have already been discussed ad nauseam, but there must be an up and coming coach somewhere looking for an opportunity.
This would appear to be the time for something like that.

I know everyone wants to keep piling on Warde but let’s wait a week to see what happens in regards to Juwan. I just don’t see how he can be back and please don’t tell me what the “insiders” say.
Warde should have fired him in-season to get a leg up on the coaching search.

If Juwan is fired within 24 hours of the end of the season (i.e. when they're eliminated in the B1G tournament), I can live with that. I'm ok with waiting as long as it's prompt at the end of the season. There's no way a replacement would be hired before mid April, so there's not really any value to firing him now. The AD can still conduct a shadow search while letting Juwan finish the year.
They aren’t doing that to one of their own and as much as I despise Juwan as a coach I agree. Martelli is shit so no thanks to him taking over a couple weeks ago
