The OWI in itself is no bueno #1.

The challenge for me are the areas where Scruggs demonstrates a clear lack of judgement for anyone in a leadership/mentor capacity.

A) not bothering to get an Uber

B) what is he doing out at 3AM during his first week on the job

Unfortunately, based off of those factors alone my sense is that he should be let go.

He’s not gonna be able to hold those players accountable in the manner he needs to.

Sucks, because it looked like a great hire.

The first sign of real change I noticed was at Wisconsin in 2021 when Michigan’s whole team really got into Wisconsin’s “Jump Around”.

i remember thinking, huh, this team might be a bit different. Had zero clue about how good they would be for three seasons.

It’s been, OF GLORY!

LFG boys! Looks like the threat of a JJ run gave PSU something to think about on that drive.

Winning the redzone battle so far, need to keep it up.

I’m gonna go with 31-17 Michigan.

I suspect Michigan might fire up the JJ run game a bit more this week; which could give the running game an additional dimension.

As far as the passing game, I wouldn’t be surprised if Edwards is on the field a lot with Corum more this week (lined up all over the field ie. Percy Harvin, Curtis Samuel, etc.) in an effort to get him more involved in the passing game along with Wilson, Johnson, Loveland, etc.

Just think that this year’s Michigan team can do too much on offense, and is too experienced for Penn State to beat (aside from perhaps a perfect storm of turnovers, special team blunders, etc.).

Go Blue!

To me it seems as if Urban might wait to see what happens at Texas A&M over Michigan State.

Underrated suggestion here. His ability to scheme and develop talent was on full display during his time at Mississippi State.

Chris Creighton could be a good one to add. He’s been nothing short of a miracle worker at EMU (although MAC to BIG10 is a pretty steep jump).

Bluey is the best kids show hands down. My wife and I watch it with the kids (11, 7, 5, and 2) pretty often.

Great messages, fun storylines, and good characters.

If the ACC were to invite Cal and Stanford that would effectively break their grant of rights (opening the floodgates for Florida State, Clemson, UNC, etc. to leave).

i highly doubt they would do that to preserve ND’s rivalry with Stanford.

It’s a lot of fun, you start in D3, and work your way up to better jobs as you go. Includes Recruiting, Roster Management, Game Planning, etc.

I’ve worked my way up to Texas A&M, and applied for the Michigan job after the last season (but didn’t get it). Has been a good way to pass the time during the pandemic, and I’ll keep playing it.

Worst:

Worst:

Watching Curtis Samuel run into the end zone the play after “The Spot” in 2016. Michigan had the better team that day, and let a game slip away that we should have won; (and could have completely turned the tide of the rivalry).

Best:

Woodson INT that clinched the National Championship. That year was so much fun, and Charles stepped up so many times

I work as an executive at a software company in Southern California, and we have been fortunate to put some key foundational items in place to allow us to weather this storm for some time. COVID-19 has impacted our Q1 bonus numbers, but we have elected to pay out full bonuses, and have made it a point to announce we have zero plans to do layoffs. Reasons for this are as follows:

1) We want to give our employees (company size of around 110) one less thing to worry about, and some unexpected positive news

2) We have very strong fundamentals as a business, with strong EBIDTA numbers even when not hitting targets

3) We have a single owner (not PE backed) who understands the importance of building loyalty in a SoCal market that is highly competitive for talent).

I’ll be working remote, taking precautions, and enjoying the extra time with my wife and kids since I won’t have to travel.

While not great for Tuesday night vs Nebraska (and potentially for the rest of this year). I like Juwan asserting himself here, especially with an alpha like Simpson.

A significant part of how we evaluate new managers and leaders within our organization is how comfortable they are doing uncomfortable things that are necessary. This would certainly qualify as an uncomfortable thing for Juwan that could reap more long term benefits for the program than short.
