What a fucking clown. Both teams played in the same weather. The game is played in November outdoors in the Midwest. Don't recruit players from Bumfuck McCozyWarmtownyearround if their skin is too sensitive to play in a light snow.  NFL teams play in worse weather. Sorry the game wasn't a patty-cake competition on the beach you insufferable turd.

If true, that would still mean we're a better team. We both played in the same weather, and essentially play in the same weather. They don't play in Florida the rest of the year.

I mean in his defense it was a little unfair that Ohio had to play outside in the wind and snow.

They should have made Michigan play out there in the same conditions

So the weather allowed Michigan to push around the OSU d-line to the tune of 297 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs for Haskins?  You would have thought that if the teams couldn’t pass because of the weather, they could have stopped the run.

If they can't play in foul weather in November, then maybe they should rethink their offensive approach.  It is the Big Ten after all.

Now flu, that's a whole different story.  /s

Is this the same Kirk Herbstreit who picked Nebraska to win the B1G West before the season started?

I was at the game, and - could track the ball from my seat across the entire field.  The difference in the game was line play, period.

It wasn’t as windy as the Buckeyes recent game against Northwestern - and, I hope Kirk keeps giving reasons to rank the Buckeyes in front of Michigan.  Keep giving those boys in Columbus all the praise you can - please, keep feeding everything to them.   I think they’re the greatest team ever assembled - and love the ride their QB has.  According to 247, they were a more talented squad last year, and they’re a more talented squad this year.  The CFP loves them, and it’s always been that way.  Do you remember when the CFP Selection Committee picked the Bucks despite the fact they didn’t win the East Division or the B1G?

Yes, this Bucks team is unbeatable - even Darth Vader thinks they are more intimidating than the Death Star.

wait, was it only snowing and cold for OSU players?

my memory isn’t the best but I swear both teams played in the same city, same stadium, with the same weather …..

On second thought, I’d like to adjust my recollection of last year’s regular season finale.

it was unusual.  During Buckeye possessions, I recall seeing the Abominable Snowman and Bigfoot relishing in the conditions - while Ole Man Winter was dialing in his Blizzard machine.  And, during Michigan possessions - the skies cleared - the temperature increased to 68 degrees - the sun came out - and any gale force winds that might have been blowing stopped, turning into a gentle Spring breeze.

Yeah, that’s what it was like…

I fully believe weather DID play a big role which shows how bad Day is. Michigan was solid on both lines and had a very good run game. Something that transitions to inclement weather nicely. Ryan Day built an SEC type team in Ohio.

There's nothing wrong with stating the weather assisted, because both teams play in the north. Be smarter and build a team better suited for the region you play in if you are upset.

Isn't this what we want?

The more they disrespect our win, the better for us.  They're refusing to accept that we are better this year than last year.

Let them blame the weather, a flu, a starter coming down with the clap, it doesn't matter.

If true, then they're probably going to like this November's game time weather in Columbus even less.  49 degrees, Rain, 15+ mph winds. Should be a lot of fun regardless.

What a terrible take from Herbie. I used to like him as an analyst but he seems to get worse every year.

Honestly I hope that OSU thinks it was only the weather that won them the game last year because that would bode well for this year

i.e. OSU QB is soft.  Stroud has looked really uncomfortable in all of his cold weather games.  Watch him on the side lines, his hands are constantly in his hand warmers and he is basically shivering

Personally, I used to like Herbstreit a lot on Gameday. I enjoyed his homerism too. I expect it and enjoy it just like I do when Howard does it. However, as the ESPN powers have pushed their entire broadcast to promote the SEC as much as possible, the rest of his coverage is now SEC propaganda with some OSU homerism and it's become unwatchable. Everything ESPN has become unwatchable with their start to the ratings war already in progress.

The biggest issue that I have is that everything he does is by design to assist OSU.  And what makes it worse is his pious sanctimonious feigning ignorance of such.
