I'm not sure the Lions needed a jersey redesign. Still, the new home unis are awesome, they knocked it out of the park on that one. The away jerseys are just ok, like others have said they need to ditch the "Detroit" on the front. Also prefer the road combo to be white tops / silver pants. The black jersey, well let's just say I'll need time to warm up to that one.
If you watch the clip, he's getting his hair cut and BSing with the barber. It was posed to him as a hypothetical question and he was like, sure why not? I don't read much into this.

Always on Time is a banger but it came out in '01. Chip was still in New Hampshire at that time. His peak was around 2010/11 so more Party Rock Anthem or Like a G6.
The matchup isn't exciting to me and I'm bitter about the Lions. Going to work out and/or mess around on the Xbox, then catch the 4th quarter if it's close. I want 49ers to win just because of the Michigan guys, but think Chiefs will win.
Yes I'll root for the Chargers, I'll slot them as my third favorite NFL team after the Lions and Bills. As for Jim and the Chargers winning the Super Bowl, it's possible but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm not sold on Herbert, and from what I understand they have roster/salary cap issues. Still, Jim is a turnaround expert so anything is possible.

Agreed, and honestly I'm confused about the Harbaugh angst going around now. I thought it was a given that Harbaugh would interview with NFL teams and very possibly move on after this season.
I think this is the longest Harbaugh has been in one place period. He grew up moving around since his dad was a coach. Longest NFL stint was seven seasons with the Bears.

This is how I feel as well. We won the national championship right as CFB is about to change into something else. We are the last Big 10 champion before the conference becomes completely unrecognizable, the last team to win the 4 team playoff, the last team to play against Saban, we beat the final Pac-12 team, etc.
After so many ups and downs of the late Carr era, Rich Rod, Hoke and now Harbaugh I feel this national championship is the culmination of it all.
I'm trying to be as zen as possible but it's tough. Winning this game would be huge. We've been through so many ups and downs we should be ready for anything the future holds.
One thing that helps this team is that during the entire year their focus has been on the championship - Corum coming back to win it, Harbaugh with the 15-0 tattoo, etc. Winning the Rose Bowl is amazing but it never was the ultimate goal.
I was also under the impression that no one cared about the Connor Stallions stuff at this point other than 11w/RCMB types. Michigan in the national championship game is a nightmare for them so they need to take comfort wherever they can.
I love that we went with the classic look for the Rose Bowl - especially against Alabama who always wear their traditional uni. For the National Championship I'm good with all blues. Same uniform we beat Washington with back in 2021.

I can't think of another Michigan team that snapped a significant streak, but Harbaugh's Stanford team beat USC to snap a 35 game home winning streak.

Personally I think of this timeframe as two separate eras - the BCS era and the 4 team CFP era
