Submitted by dbrhee on November 7th, 2023 at 6:05 PM

I know this was repeated in other conversations and threads but there is more coming that will be some known connections with Ryan Day...

Other Notes:

Steward Mandel is slowly moving away from the mob side....

No ESPN reporting...

More to come...

Yes, along with Sam McGrath. I've been wondering why those names haven't been mentioned since towards the start of this whole circus. The venmo transactions between those two looked exactly like the ones involving Stalions (which sucknuts wanted to cancel our entire football program over). Mr. Zdebski also appeared to have wiped his Venmo account shortly after his name had been dropped before. It really makes those able to think, think!

I want to download the espn app, just so I can delete it

I want to subscribe to espn+, just so I can un-subscribe

The E doesn't stand for ethics, evidence or equal. It's Entertainment.

They have become cable news, they only care about one side and ignore (or don't look for) anything positive on the other side.

Rumors are the company is headquartered in Manchester, NH and the founder went to the same high school as a certain coach with a vested interest.  Is that a "known connection" like a family member?  Who knows.

I do not know but the link/connection to Day with Decoding Gate that NCAA stated "did not see a known connection" seem like it will be revealed in the coming days...

Again, no wonder Day can't refute that he is not involved when reporter directly asked.. Really, no comment?.

What they basically did was advance scout. Purdue used their buddies from Ohio St and Rutgers to scout Michigan in person during the season. Same thing Stallions did. Only difference is Harbaugh didn’t know, and Day, Schiano, and Brohm all knew. It makes their offense even worse.

Do you think petitti is pulling his hair out?
like: you fucking assholes spent 90 min yelling at me to suspend Harbaugh forever because of the worst sportsmanship in the history of the world and you’re all doing the same shit? Come on.

You don’t understand the situation.  We’re not doing what Michigan is doing.  We’re banding together to screw Michigan over.  You see - we’re giving each other information that we found - and, this enables us all to compete more effectively against them.

At Michigan, it was just one guy that went off the reservation to do something - we’re working together - demonstrating sportsmanship and teamwork - even though we’re from different teams.  We value sportsmanship so much, in fact, that we give the information we’ve gathered to any team we think could possibly defeat Michigan if they had an edge.

That was the part where he should have said:  "Are you all sure you want to do this?  Are you sure all of your own houses are impeccably clean before I attempt to take down a Big Ten member?  Because I may be an outsider but I've heard some stuff about some of you."

But he flubbed that opportunity and now here he is.

I thought about it and why we got killed when he was did a Benedict Arnold in 2019 and ended Don Brown more or less in 2021.. BUT this is post Don Brown where Greg had more or less retired and might not have the deep knowledge..

But Greg Mattison would not be surprising but not as effective in terms of duration.

I'm hoping this lack of new leaks coming out from our end is because the B1G is coming to their senses.

While other teams colluding to have our signs certainly takes away the 'competitive advantage' angle, the smear campaign has been executed and we are still way behind in public opinion. I'm really hoping this isn't all we have at our disposal.

Yeah I just don't think that really moves the needle much. Evidence that schools colluded against us was the leak yesterday- showing 0 competitive advantage existed between what CS did and what other teams do.

Today we get the teams ID'd.

Tmrw- as Hole alluded to- we get names of staffers?

I guess I'm just trying to see how that changes anything. Now if you tell me they also had minions who recorded other teams- ok.

I have to think Michigan has more than what we've seen. It could be that like I said above, maybe the B1G realized they were in over their head on this one. Just hard to imagine them backing off now with the ridiculous posturing they decided to do early on.

You very well might be right that the conference is backing off. I think UM is being pretty deliberate in what it is choosing to share. The leaks so far are designed to show that Jim had no knowledge or connection to signgate, that sign stealing is so commonplace that any idea of a competitive advantage/player safety argument is BS, and that other teams are colluding against us with their own advanced scouting (completely undercutting the "sportsmanship" part of this. Today I think it was about demonstrating that OSU is behind it, just a shot across the bow. Each part is tailored to fit those four points. Leaking more things, going nuclear, will be what they do if this escalates. I bet tomorrow is the names of the staffers (Brent Zdebski, Jordan Huxtable, maybe Sam McGrath), and maybe some unsavory details they share over text. Then we wait and see what the conference does.

Public opinion's irrelevant right now; what matters is the opinion of an as-yet-unnamed judge. What's gone public the last two days makes it easier to argue selective enforcement; not only have other conference programs engaged in very similar activities, it was public knowledge before the conference took action.
