We won the Big 10 with Cade at QB and a good defense. All we need is a Cade-level QB with this defense. Find the guy who best protects the ball and we will win many games. That should be our plan. It's that simple.

Over the last three years, OSU has had some running backs who ran tough and slightly scared me. Each time, OSU limited those backs in favor of a flashier player who can take it the distance against Indiana/Purdue defenses. The softness is in Ryan Day's DNA, not necessarily all of his players' DNA.
Given conference consolidation, OOC games will mean less. It'll all be candy ass OOC schedules because many conference games today would have been OOC games last year.
I get excited to watch these, but I always stop after a minute or so because I find them boring. Roman Wilson was awesome, and I loved watching him play, but I don't really care what the Houston Hilton escalator looks like.
Warde may have done well on the hire (time will tell), but if it's true that the powers that be forced Warde to fire Juwan, then I'm not sure how much credit Warde should get for the overall transition.
I'm still of the opinion that Warde is a mediocre athletic director who is unable or unwilling to adapt to college athletics' changing landscape. And for that, I refuse to appreciate or apologize to Warde Manuel.

I’d love to see the number of auto bids for all conferences fluctuate annually based on the previous season’s performance in the tournament. It would add a feeling of relegation and promotion, add conference rooting interests, and give us more reason to hate Ohio State when they lose to a random SEC team.

The lesser teams that are fortunate to be in the Big 10 shouldn't knife the revenue generating teams in the back because the revenue generators can leave. Before last season, I wouldn't have been in favor of a super conference because it will destroy the lesser Big 10 teams. But now? They showed us that we're on our own.
The players are going to be paid from the revenue. If there's a super conference on the horizon, the best chances for survival will be to join and cut out the fat. If Michigan refuses to join out of solidarity with Illinois, we'll become Illinois. I don't want to be Illinois.
I don’t remember the lesser teams sticking up for Michigan during the regular season. Rather, I recall the Illini and Purdues trying to sink our championship season with their hyper dramatic sign gate BS.
I can’t wait to leave those peasant schools to fend for themselves. What kind of TV deal will the CW channel give Northwestern, Illinois and Purdue etc. when Michigan, OSU and PSU aren’t transferring wealth to them anymore?
During this run, we were recruiting (and signing) a bunch of players that developed into NFL players. I hope we keep doing that.
I don't want to see us investing time and effort into recruiting the top guys only to see them go to schools that pay incoming recruits NIL. We're better off finding the dudes who love the football grind, have leadership potential, and want to be at Michigan. That's what has worked and will work in the future.
