This for sure is not a good look for us. I will say that using a cell phone to record is not a violation and they keep using the term sign stealing. That is not illegal but it does say we were doing in person scouting which is illegal. The problem I have is if it is interns mostly at games are they really considered staffers? I just don't like the way we look in this article and it really could be bad for us. I just don't know how much to believe and who hired the law firm. Seems like that could be a violation in itself.
Did anyone see the SI article? It basically said a good majority of all this ticket purchasing and such was all when he was not on staff. I think they were trying to help push the narrative and failed. I feel like every article only ever mentions sign stealing which is not illegal and just shows OSU really is trying hard to distract us. Maybe if they tried this hard against us they would be better off. They always have an excuse for us winning. Flu, snow, etc.
I honestly cannot see serious penalties coming from this. It sounds a lot like hearsay and conjecture. Let's face facts, if this was us accusing OSU, ESPN wouldn't even lift a finger. Thamel is such a clown and a guy who only spins his own narrative for benefits of the network. The whole thing is a clown show. We will smash everyone in our path and there is nothing they can do about it.
