Isaiah Hole: Hold Steadfast....

Submitted by dbrhee on October 26th, 2023 at 8:51 PM

This has been the way I have approached it.. As many of us had state that all this does not add up... I commented about his video last night on one thread that teams are trading scouting information, etc.. I believe one of had posted a comment about that too...

At the end, his perception is what I thought.. There could be some consequence but not close to what the "media" are wanting and demanding it to be..

So, we should all just be patient and wait to hear the official news from the University or the NCAA??? No, I want to jump to conclusions!! Where’s my jump to conclusions mat?

It sounds like he's confirming those that are speculating are correct and the truth is being discussed even if they don't know it.  That makes it sound like it's OSU that hired the firm. Some speculation that Warde Manual and Stapleton don't want to see JH get the big contract, but Santa wants it.  Wild if true. I don't think Isaiah would burn his sources of they didn't want this out yet.  He said he's spent 40 hours on the phone and he'll tell us eventually how he knows.  Says Michigan will get what seem like more bad news soon as more leaks, but we'll be okay in the end. All of his unrelated sources are saying the same thing.

Clicked and realized it's a 30 min video.  I'm not sitting through this shit.

Avoid premature ejaculation, spend an extra minute and offer bullet points.

Summary of Video:

State:
The objective truth of the event is already out there. Most of those have been sent out to the public are more or less speculative.

Michigan fanbase:
Hold Fast... Hold the Line.. Hold Steadfast...

Details of the Washington Post report do not really show if the staff even accessed or not.

Obvious Questions:
Who is the investigation firm?
Who hired the investigation firm?
How did they get the material?

Initial NCAA investigation went well but no interview with head coaches.
University of Michigan is supporting Jim Harbuagh

Seem like it is more political than a sports story... Questioning Connor (and his character) but really the main target is Jim Harbaugh... With the extension of JH's contract and now it is in the backburner to if he is going to the NFL.... "Awfully convenient"...

The danger is not only the one presenting the material, other teams being quoted in the articles, etc. but also, inside the Michigan (this could include academia, etc.).

So Michigan fans should speak out and make your voice be heard! Brought up Mgoblog and speaking out against David Brandon... Brought him down...

There will be some things that will be revealed but held back for the time being as per Isaiah Hole..

I just hope the school is smart enough to move forward and give Jim what he deserves. The guy is always on the up and up and has always coached with the integrity you expect from a coach. Sign Harbaugh and wreck everyone in our path from here on out.

He didn’t say anything that would make us feel good. All he said was “I know things but I can’t say it” and that “at the moment” this and “at the moment” that. He’s damage control for Michigan as is Sam Webb. They’re all hinting that There is something just not as bad (at the moment) as rival fans want it to be. No shit sherlocks that’s usually how it works.

I've listened to his podcast for 20 maddening minutes and all he does is speak in the most vague cryptic terms without saying anything concrete or substantial. He's doing podbait.

I thought it was pretty good.

Synopsis:

He claims to have talked to a lot of people in the know.

He says among all the speculation and wrong ideas here, the whole truth (as he knows it) is here, too.

He feels that the situation is not technically a big deal.

But he worries that there are too many bigwigs in the Michigan ecosystem, who aren't keen on the football program, and who would be happy to harm the football program to enhance their virtue signalling.

He urges fans to hold fast, support Michigan football, and oppose any overblown self-flagellation on the part of the above-described bigwigs, as he feels we fans collectively do have sway.

Yeah. He’s effectively saying that 1) we’re not guilty of anything truly serious, which could affect the season but 2) we’re probably guilty of some minor stuff, which wouldn’t matter at all at a lot of schools but we’re a school where it might matter, because we have a a faction on campus that loves to virtue signal and self-flagellate. Consequently, 3) it’s important for the non-insane majority to not let the self-loathing minority control the narrative (which could mean preventing a contract extension for Jim) when it’s over.

I'm with you.  I think those people totally suck.

But --

Isaiah Hole is right that fans collectively have a lot of sway.

His point is to keep perspective.  And when folks see that this is not a huge issue -- fight back through posts (here, Twitter, etc.).  Argue against those working to blow it out of proportion and promoting self flagellation.  Be vocal about it.

Hold fast, he says.  I think it is great advice.  Go Blue!

Have you ever sat on the home side of a game around the 50 yd line? There’s plenty of blue hairs that are pissed that they don’t have the stadium to themselves. We had an alum/ prof pissed when we beat OSU in 21 that fans stood the entire game. I’m not talking about a down I’m front deal either. This jaggoff was literally in everyone’s ass the entire game making it well known who he was.
