Isaiah Hole: Hold Steadfast....
This has been the way I have approached it.. As many of us had state that all this does not add up... I commented about his video last night on one thread that teams are trading scouting information, etc.. I believe one of had posted a comment about that too...
At the end, his perception is what I thought.. There could be some consequence but not close to what the "media" are wanting and demanding it to be..
October 27th, 2023 at 9:15 AM ^
To do that UM would need to hire an agency to push that narrative....kind of like somebody hired an agency to drag UM through the mud.
This goes deep into OSUs hatred of UM. If the Big10 is pissed off...fine we go independent like ND.

It's almost like the media is full of shit. Fake newwwsss
October 27th, 2023 at 10:43 AM ^
Listen here, Mr. Brightside...are we doing just fine?

He sounds like TEH KNOWLEDGE in human form.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:07 PM ^
So, we should all just be patient and wait to hear the official news from the University or the NCAA??? No, I want to jump to conclusions!! Where’s my jump to conclusions mat?
October 26th, 2023 at 9:08 PM ^
Is your name kris balass?
October 26th, 2023 at 11:26 PM ^
Still adding flair to it, be right with ya!
October 26th, 2023 at 9:08 PM ^
I know things but I can't tell you.
This is clickbait. And I usually like the guy.
Spit it out or shut the fuck up.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:09 PM ^
Things'll go your way
Hold On for one more day

Before or after?
October 26th, 2023 at 9:13 PM ^
It sounds like he's confirming those that are speculating are correct and the truth is being discussed even if they don't know it. That makes it sound like it's OSU that hired the firm. Some speculation that Warde Manual and Stapleton don't want to see JH get the big contract, but Santa wants it. Wild if true. I don't think Isaiah would burn his sources of they didn't want this out yet. He said he's spent 40 hours on the phone and he'll tell us eventually how he knows. Says Michigan will get what seem like more bad news soon as more leaks, but we'll be okay in the end. All of his unrelated sources are saying the same thing.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:14 PM ^
Who gives a shit what Stapleton wants?
October 26th, 2023 at 9:17 PM ^
Nobody should, but if he has pull in the NCAA violations committee he could be helping orchestrate this. He seemed pretty mad about what JUB said.
October 26th, 2023 at 11:30 PM ^
This will all come out in the light of Day.
October 27th, 2023 at 10:53 AM ^
What you did there, I see it.
October 27th, 2023 at 2:11 PM ^
2nd time I used it. Want to give the devil his due.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:45 PM ^
Apparently Warde and Stapleton had dinner together a couple weeks ago.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:24 PM ^
Then fucking fire Warde! None of this makes sense.
October 26th, 2023 at 10:09 PM ^
Why wouldn't ono fire manurel's humongous ass if that's true?

Clicked and realized it's a 30 min video. I'm not sitting through this shit.
Avoid premature ejaculation, spend an extra minute and offer bullet points.

Tuck is that you?
October 26th, 2023 at 9:15 PM ^
Summary of Video:
State:
The objective truth of the event is already out there. Most of those have been sent out to the public are more or less speculative.
Michigan fanbase:
Hold Fast... Hold the Line.. Hold Steadfast...
Details of the Washington Post report do not really show if the staff even accessed or not.
Obvious Questions:
Who is the investigation firm?
Who hired the investigation firm?
How did they get the material?
Initial NCAA investigation went well but no interview with head coaches.
University of Michigan is supporting Jim Harbuagh
Seem like it is more political than a sports story... Questioning Connor (and his character) but really the main target is Jim Harbaugh... With the extension of JH's contract and now it is in the backburner to if he is going to the NFL.... "Awfully convenient"...
The danger is not only the one presenting the material, other teams being quoted in the articles, etc. but also, inside the Michigan (this could include academia, etc.).
So Michigan fans should speak out and make your voice be heard! Brought up Mgoblog and speaking out against David Brandon... Brought him down...
There will be some things that will be revealed but held back for the time being as per Isaiah Hole..
October 26th, 2023 at 9:20 PM ^
He implies he knows who hired the investigation firm. The speculation seems seems to be that OSU paid for hit or it's Stapleton. Stalions acting mostly alone? If any of those are true it could get interesting.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:26 PM ^
University of Michigan is supporting Jim Harbuagh
Should I just take his word for it? Are they just whispering into his ear? Haven't heard shit publicly to support this. This is as vague as the recent anonymous sources.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:52 PM ^
If the bit about the contract is true, why are we not removing Manuel and replacing him with someone who will work to keep Harbaugh for a long time and pay him more than Ryan Day?
October 26th, 2023 at 9:17 PM ^
I just hope the school is smart enough to move forward and give Jim what he deserves. The guy is always on the up and up and has always coached with the integrity you expect from a coach. Sign Harbaugh and wreck everyone in our path from here on out.
October 26th, 2023 at 10:09 PM ^
I really do too but according to Isaiah, there are some people in power who could care less about the football program’s wins and losses and are much more concerned about the embarrassment this is causing the university.
October 26th, 2023 at 10:28 PM ^
But it would be asinine to let JH swing in the breeze, which is exactly what OSU wants, which is why they have orchestrated this fiasco. Don't give in to the Evil Cooler Pooper Empire.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:21 PM ^
He didn’t say anything that would make us feel good. All he said was “I know things but I can’t say it” and that “at the moment” this and “at the moment” that. He’s damage control for Michigan as is Sam Webb. They’re all hinting that There is something just not as bad (at the moment) as rival fans want it to be. No shit sherlocks that’s usually how it works.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:43 PM ^
He's spent hours on the phone talking to separate sources who all say the same thing. What have you done to inform your opinion? I think Isaiah is credible.
October 26th, 2023 at 11:14 PM ^
This is a “hold two thoughts at the same time” thing for me:
- Isaiah seems credible to me, too
- That video was not worth my time
These ain’t mutually exclusive. A tweet such as “I talked to everyone today and still feel fine” would have been an equal or better contribution.
October 26th, 2023 at 11:29 PM ^
Yeah, overall I like the guy and he seems legit but he has a knack for talking a lot but not saying anything.
October 27th, 2023 at 11:40 AM ^
He didn’t actually say anything though. I’ve also spent 30 hours on the phone over the last week.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:34 PM ^
I've listened to his podcast for 20 maddening minutes and all he does is speak in the most vague cryptic terms without saying anything concrete or substantial. He's doing podbait.
October 27th, 2023 at 12:30 AM ^
He did say a few insightful things about PrizePicks, Fanduel, and LinkedIn though
October 27th, 2023 at 10:59 AM ^
I tried listening to this podcast and couldn't make even 10 minutes.
He may or may not know what the hell he's talking about, but there was zero real information in it—he just gave us his feels, and that's not worth my time.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:40 PM ^
I thought it was pretty good.
Synopsis:
He claims to have talked to a lot of people in the know.
He says among all the speculation and wrong ideas here, the whole truth (as he knows it) is here, too.
He feels that the situation is not technically a big deal.
But he worries that there are too many bigwigs in the Michigan ecosystem, who aren't keen on the football program, and who would be happy to harm the football program to enhance their virtue signalling.
He urges fans to hold fast, support Michigan football, and oppose any overblown self-flagellation on the part of the above-described bigwigs, as he feels we fans collectively do have sway.
October 26th, 2023 at 9:55 PM ^
Yeah. He’s effectively saying that 1) we’re not guilty of anything truly serious, which could affect the season but 2) we’re probably guilty of some minor stuff, which wouldn’t matter at all at a lot of schools but we’re a school where it might matter, because we have a a faction on campus that loves to virtue signal and self-flagellate. Consequently, 3) it’s important for the non-insane majority to not let the self-loathing minority control the narrative (which could mean preventing a contract extension for Jim) when it’s over.
October 26th, 2023 at 10:12 PM ^
Well put! +1
October 26th, 2023 at 10:14 PM ^
Once again, Michigan is Michigan’s own worst enemy…..
October 26th, 2023 at 11:13 PM ^
OMG “who aren’t keen on the football program”!?
These people suck.
All this winning and happiness is upsetting people!?
My dislike for people grows every damn day
October 27th, 2023 at 12:25 AM ^
I'm with you. I think those people totally suck.
But --
Isaiah Hole is right that fans collectively have a lot of sway.
His point is to keep perspective. And when folks see that this is not a huge issue -- fight back through posts (here, Twitter, etc.). Argue against those working to blow it out of proportion and promoting self flagellation. Be vocal about it.
Hold fast, he says. I think it is great advice. Go Blue!
October 27th, 2023 at 6:03 AM ^
Exactly. The Michigan brand is Michigan Football. It's the straw that stirs the drink. Whoever those people are and in whatever fashion they profit from the University of Michigan, that opportunity exists today because of the Football program.
October 27th, 2023 at 8:07 AM ^
Eh, I'd say UM Health is the driver of the University. Football is a drop in the bucket, comparatively.
October 27th, 2023 at 6:15 AM ^
Have you ever sat on the home side of a game around the 50 yd line? There’s plenty of blue hairs that are pissed that they don’t have the stadium to themselves. We had an alum/ prof pissed when we beat OSU in 21 that fans stood the entire game. I’m not talking about a down I’m front deal either. This jaggoff was literally in everyone’s ass the entire game making it well known who he was.
