Does this mean Jim is gone?…

Does this mean Jim is gone? So not firing Warde will cost us 1 year of JJ and 10 years of Harbaugh. Everyone knew keeping Warde would be toxic.

If we offered all these guys…

If we offered all these guys obscene amounts of money would they come back? Or would they have still gone pro because they won the natty? If it’s the former, I’d be really ticked because OSU was able to get all their guys back with money. Even Trevyon with a RB already there.

Do you think JJ leaving…

Do you think JJ leaving means Harbaugh is leaving?

Why aren’t we paying these…

Why aren’t we paying these guys more to come back like OSU? Or do they wanna go pro no matter what?

Great idea. Another great…

Great idea. Another great idea not about money - firing Warde would do more for Jim coming back than anything. Who wants to work for a boss you don’t like?

How was this story hid so…

How was this story hid so well before this ruling? Oh right, because every school has the media protecting them but us.

So Harbaugh might not come…

So Harbaugh might not come back because of the NCAA. Just what Jimmy Stapleton and OSU wanted with the whole “scandal.” We MUST fight back. The only reason OSU did this to us is that’s they are crazy but also bc they knew we wouldn’t fight back

Of course it’s FSU. Every…

Of course it’s FSU. Every team does it but FSU had a beef with the NCAA so the NCAA stick them against Georgia and does this. The sport is being ruined.

They’ve always done whatever…

They’ve always done whatever it takes to win. Their system is set up like Alabama’s. Win at all costs, literally. Our natty made them nervous chickens.

And we are stupid for not…

And we are stupid for not paying him.

Hasn’t been a player as good…

Hasn’t been a player as good as Bryce. This is on Michigan. The coaching staff identifies players it wants and UM can’t get the better ones bc the school stupidly doesn’t do pay for play. Why do they care about the NCAA anymore after this year?

$$$. And that’s Michigan’s…

$$$. And that’s Michigan’s fault.

Will people stop with this?!…

Will people stop with this?!! Michigan was interested in him so the staff obviously thought he’d fit the culture. Michigan doesn’t pay recruits and it’s an incredibly stupid way to operate. Michigan doesn’t get JJ or Donovan in the era of NIL. It’s going to get much harder without adapting.

Why is it so unethical for…

Why is it so unethical for Michigan to offer the bag? What is one good reason not to do it? And I don’t wanna hear team player BS. Michigan goes after some of the top players now so it’s not mutually exclusive.

Portal? Hell no. Michigan is…

Portal? Hell no. Michigan is just too stupid to pay players. Players who fit Michigan and those that get paid are not mutually exclusive.

Is that Connor Stallions…

Is that Connor Stallions bottom left with the stache?

How does going after money…

How does going after money equal having an ego? That’s extremely shallow and you’re missing the bigger picture. If Jim Harbaugh is interested in the player, that must mean he’d probably fit in pretty nicely. And how do you know that JJ wouldn’t have taken money if NIL was around?

Michigan should be able to get the guys they want, whether or not they want money. People confuse players wanting money as players Michigan doesn’t want. False. Michigan just refuses to pay anyone money. THAT’s the problem. This isn’t on players.

It’s both. But mostly you’re… It’s both. But mostly you’re right. Why won’t it change sometime soon? What is so against paying players? Lol
And this is where UM needs…

And this is where UM needs to have media relations contacts of their own. But nope. That’s why they continue to get picked on

And what is UM leadership… And what is UM leadership gunna do about it? Expose Thamel? Nah. Fight back against OSU? Nah. Until they do fight back this will continue to happen.
Here’s where you see how a…

Here’s where you see how a school that has a clue of how to treat the NCAA gets away with this. I should have asked Santa of fight back when I had the chance today.

What’s the solution to this?…

What’s the solution to this? Ryan Day’s desperation turned into a media mob against Harbaugh and Michigan and UM does nothing to fight back against them like telling ESPN to stop, preventing Gameday from coming, etc.  basically the weak UM leadership confirmed everyone who picked on them’s beliefs that you can pick on us without any retaliation.

So you’re saying we should…

So you’re saying we should have beaten TCU last year.

It won’t that much. The weak…

It won’t that much. The weak leadership will be there to stay. That’s why they got picked on. And the weak leadership convinces harbaugh to leave. Offer Harbaugh all the money you want, but what would make a bigger difference is firing Warde. How many of you want to work for a boss that doesn’t support you and is a barrier to success?

Your anger is directed to…

Your anger is directed to the wrong place. Be mad at Michigan “leadership” for not having the stones to fire Warde, not having the stones to fight back against the NCAA, Big Ten and OSU. They pick on Michigan bc wee the only school that actually recognizes the governance of the NCAA. College football is all collusion, politics, etc. Which sucks enough, because it all were fair I think Michigan would crush it. But it’s on the UM leadership to ADJUST and not approach football how they think it should be, but instead how it is. And Warde is the worst in that as we are already waaaaay behind in NIL and will catch up when it’s too late. So Michigan is either to ignorant or stupid to play the politics game with college football and being “pure” is only a detriment to themselves, and weak leadership is using it as an excuse

Or maybe our leadership can…

Or maybe our leadership can actually have stones and fight back against the NCAA and OSU. Our leadership’s reaction of laying down to the NCAA and not exposing OSU on what they do basically confirmed to OSU and NCAA why they did what they did. This is a Michigan problem.

Why can’t this have been…

Why can’t this have been reported, by, you know, an actual media source not affiliated with the school? There are two key problems: Michigan being treated differently than other schools who do far worse, which is related to the second problem of terrible leadership. Our leaders never fight back against anyone, whether it’s the NCAA, OSU, etc., they STILL, even after this year, bow down to NCAA authority instead of seeing them who they are, institute a bogus no pay for play standard that only hurts the team’s recruiting and talent level, and that nobody seems to have the power to fire Warde, who may be the worst athletic director supporting teams in a very long time. All of these direct back to weak leadership and not adjusting. If this year didn’t galvanize UM to do it, I’m not sure anything will. They’ll accept NIL 10 years down the road when we’re too far behind to catch up.

So why can’t Michigan take a…

So why can’t Michigan take a hint that rules aren’t policed, and then wanting to govern themselves and change college football into what they think it should be has turned everyone against us. It’s gotten to the point where I place the blame on UM for not adapting. We’ve already been exploited of having weak leadership. This continues to trend in the wrong direction. No fight back. Why doesn’t UM ask the NCAA of this is allowed?

Is it illegal if it’s never…

Is it illegal if it’s never policed? In fact, Michigan’s stubbornness to operate how they see college football should be governed has turned the whole country against us. This is on UM for either not adapting or being cheap. Warde is also a huge detriment to NIL but Ono can’t fire him because power is spread among the academics. We’re screwed.

What’s bad about him taking… What’s bad about him taking the bag? Michigan is the ONLY big football school not to do that now. Make fun of us if anything because our stubbornness and weak leadership will send us down the tubes. This is the start.
Right, which is why we went…

Right, which is why we went after him. I get you’re sarcastic, but anyone who believes the whole “I wanna take a guy who wants to win, not someone who goes after the bag,” then why is Michigan interested in so many of the top recruits and recruit them really hard? Going for the bag and being a team player are not mutually exclusive things. The “philosophy” of not taking players who want the bag is a coverup for UM not to be willing to give them the money they deserve.

It’s only shocking bc UM…

It’s only shocking bc UM doesn’t play the game. We’re only hurting ourselves. All taking a “stand” against how college football should be governed has done for us is collect the whole country against us and sending recruiting and transfers down the toilet. Leaders and best!

I mean we’ll never get any…

I mean we’ll never get any transfers or recruits that really matter and UM does it all to themselves. College football is going down the tubes picking on Michigan while much worse happens. But part of that is due to Michigan trying to out moral itself. With NIL, it’ll be near impossible to compete with the big boys. And while leadership bows down to the NCAA and doesn’t fight back against OSU, these are very troubling developments. We’re in deep deep trouble.

So Bama is now playing a…

So Bama is now playing a player who was just arrested (with no media scrutiny about it of course) AND making fun of the sign stealing in a way that makes no sense AND hiring a former Michigan coach. Any of those things done by Harbaugh the media would have gone nuts. What’s the solution to this improper treatment? Why does the whole world hate UM when you look at what Bama has done just the past two weeks?

Most schools just try to…

Most schools just try to work whatever the current system is to win, no matter how much of a joke it is. Harbaugh wants to better the system. Manball.

The ego thing is exactly…

The ego thing is exactly what he’s doing bc he can’t get fired due to support from people with power. It’s crazy such a fine institution like ours can have in-house fighting.

Warde is still there because…

Warde is still there because Ono doesn’t have the power to fire him. The power is spread out at Michigan and Warde has a block of people who have voting power support him (why? Who knows). But just imagine UM with a real AD and higher ups that support athletics. We would have turned playoff seasons into great recruiting coups. Wouldn’t have stupid inhibitions on NIL or pay to play. No school would have ever tried to take down Harbaugh or UM like OSU did. And if someone did, UM would sure as hell fight back. All due to weak leadership and AD. It’s probably like four to five academics who think football is unethical who love Warde trying to ruin Harbaugh. They think football is “dirty” and “unethical” when the very thing they are doing, abusing their voting power, is unethical.

You can poke holes through any UM leader’s argument about anything  all UM is, is a bunch of old hags with a power struggle and therefore can never get anything done. Not a great look when “inferior” institutions are able to do this.

It’s never about money for…

It’s never about money for Harbaugh. When he says he wants to feel supported, how would you like working for a boss you don’t like and does nothing to support you?

All Harbaugh wants at…

All Harbaugh wants at Michigan is a boss who supports him and supports his team. But instead, his boss doesn’t even attend an end-of-year banquet to support the #1 team in the country. But Ono doesn’t even have the power to fire Warde, who has support from all the academics of course. So we’re stuck with him, which is a driving factor in Jim looking at the NFL. Fin.

It’s the fault of people in…

It’s the fault of people in power at Michigan who aren’t public-facing. Unfortunately the president himself doesn’t have the power to fire the AD. Lots hold power we dont even know and some, enough to prevent to vote him out, support him

Warde has the power to not…

Warde has the power to not provide him with the NIL he deserves.

Santa di

Santa doesn’t have the power you think. I heard elsewhere that the power dynamics are different behind the scenes where there is a faction of people who have power that support word and block any chance to vote him out. These people need to be outted.

He does because Santa Ono…

He does because Santa Ono doesn’t have the power to fire Warde despite what it looks like. And there are people in power that are Warde supporters that have become a voting block to vote him out. Only at Michigan.  Those in favor of Warde need to be publicly outted.

If Warde is too tired of…

If Warde is too tired of Harbaugh’s antics every year, you can bet it’s because he’s friends with Jim Stapleton. So because Warde has supporters, Stapleton has power. Or maybe Stapleton is directly friends with those in power at Michigan?

That takes leadership. Weak…

That takes leadership. Weak UM leadership has caused:

1) Warde not being fired

2) UM not giving Harbaugh all the reasons to stay bc Warde is still here

3) Having ridiculous transfer admissions rules

4) Not believing in NIL which will directly impact the talent level and success level of future teams

Am I missing anything else?

Yup and typical leadership…

Yup and typical leadership and its fans will only enact NIL when it’s too little too late. We’ve ain’t this song and dance before. If not, they’d be doing something about it now.

Exactly. And how many of…

Exactly. And how many of their fans are pissed with their AD and leadership like Michigan is? It’s not hard. Recruiting plus coaching = success. Most schools can’t get the good coach, but most every school commits to pay for play. Miami and Texas AM don’t have good coaches. Michigan is the only school who has done the hard part and found the good coach, but has such a cluster as leadership that they can’t support paying players and recruiting well.

Again, why is it bad to pay… Again, why is it bad to pay kids up front? Most kids who get paid up front Prove it on the field. It’s an investment. And if most fans understand that, and people as tuned in as Brian and Seth get it, why doesn’t UM?
If you take all the…

If you take all the prevailing philosophies at UM like no pay for play, yay revenue sharing, they don’t hold water. So they want players to get paid, just not before they come? Who cares? Or they want the players to benefit from revenue sharing but don’t want them being paid by boosters to commit to a school? So their whole argument hinges on that they care so much about who and when players get paid, that they sacrifice recruiting because of it? Nonsense.

So why has t he been fired… So why has t he been fired yet then? Where is UM leadership when we they are needed?
