My boys use this word.  I…

My boys use this word.  I think you’re on the right track with “all crap.”  I always thought it meant “bull crap” but I’m a middle aged dad who no longer cares about what’s cool and wonder why women wearing skinny jeans went out of style.  (Yes, I get mocked for that one)

It really tough to relate to…

It really tough to relate to and understand the whole situation.  When it happened, I didn't think much of it but it definitely left me trying to envision someone doing that to Coach Harbaugh.  I have no idea how he would react but this crap goes on more often in the league.  Coaches and players all seem "equal" with little accountability and one of the reasons I don't really like pro sports.

From a relationship standpoint, these types of actions give off huge red flags.  I understand everyone loses their shit (I do) but when your on the biggest stage and you can't control it, it's extremely alarming and probably more normal when behind closed doors.  I was once told by a fellow leader "a man who can control their emotions is far more powerful than a man who can't" and that has proven very true thus far.

Next year will be a bit of a…

Next year will be a bit of a step back and is the price of losing your HC and all of the players to the draft. How big of a step back is obviously TBD.
I don’t get the ripping off the bandaid question. Nobody deserves to get the HC opportunity more than Moore. The hire from the outside question is what gets us back to the RR and Hoke era and maybe even worse now with the portal.

The second question is near impossible to answer at this point.

Question is does he love to…

Question is does he love to play football and work his ass off?  Or does he just like dollars?

Nice!  Seems like forever…

Nice!  Seems like forever since we have had a post like this.  Hope it happens.

U of M football won a…

U of M football won a national championship which is sorta really cool but the really good news is that there is far more to life than sports.

I said it in another thread…

I said it in another thread recently but the way he was setting Moore up both publicly and behind the scenes it seems this was part of the master plan all along.  Like JJ, he won cfb’s biggest prize and has nothing left to prove. I believe he said there are only so many grains of sand left in the hour glass so now is the time to go after the Lombardi. Way too much time and energy is put into overthinking why he left.  He’s a very driven and goal oriented man and along with that comes this.

Let’s go!

You can’t…

Let’s go!

You can’t convince me that this was not the plan all season long. I was suspicious when coach kept insisting that Moore was a future head coach.
I also think there is a defined plan for all the assistants too.  I have a hard time believing he would build up the program just to leave it in shambles.

I love this forum and come…

I love this forum and come here for a some good people and good UM chats but damn it’s been absolutely exhausting the last couple weeks.

Nobody knows the future but Moore has earned his shot and this was the plan all along   Why asked these dumb ass questions?

Yep.  Live west of GR and…

Yep.  Live west of GR and didn’t cancel any meetings or plans for this afternoon.  The wife thought I should because according to the weather peeps it was all going down at 10 this morning.  Can’t fool me!  This is not my first rodeo here in W Michigan.

Now….once the lake effect kicks in we may be in for a doozy. That stuff can get crazy and unpredictable.

My plan was to rewatch the…

My plan was to rewatch the OSU, Rose Bowl and NC game on repeat.

However, I just found out a couple hours ago that I DVR'd the wrong channel for the Rose Bowl game.  Ended up recording ESPN 2 with Mcafee's loud ass mouth as the commentary.  I'm pissed!

Hopefully, I can catch a replay of the real game (not the 60 minute version) and record that.

Have seen a lot of the last…

Have seen a lot of the last one about the refs being terrible and “favoring the cheaters.”  Ohhhh… the irony!

Lots of people in shambles today.

Agree!  I’m nervous af and…

Agree!  I’m nervous af and need to be held.  My wife thinks I’m silly (which she is probably right). Your first line, OP, about the unhealthy emotional investment is something I struggle with and it’s unfortunate that my family suffers because of it.  I have been a zombie for the past 2 weeks and maybe even since mid October. This season has been exhausting lol.
I am a small business owner and mostly work from home but I do have some client meetings tomorrow and can say with 100% certainty I will not be performing at my best or be in the right frame of mind to make any good decisions.  The game can’t come soon enough!

As a lifelong casual Lions…

As a lifelong casual Lions fan, I could care less what they do at this point. They made the playoffs and won their division.  A playoff win would be cool but not expected.

NONE of the players looked…

NONE of the players looked like they wanted to play that game last night.  I’m really starting to think that stars do not matter near as much as I once thought.  5 stars and all this NIL money definitely is taking away from the team mentality/culture which is so important in the game of football.
I’m sure keeping a locker room together is a tough challenge under those conditions but Day may also be in over his head.  Kinda fun to watch.

This game is horrendous but…

This game is horrendous but it’s so satisfying watching an OSU team look so aweful.

We are heading to Boyne on…

We are heading to Boyne on Sunday through Wednesday. The forecast is looking like crap as far as snow goes so I may just drink some and watch football.   I’m much better at that than skiing anyways.
Tonight, I just opened a bottle of Bib & Tucker bourbon that was gifted to me by a supplier.  Ive never heard of it but it’s really damn good!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend and good New Years.
Go Blue!

Didn’t put anything on paper…

Didn’t put anything on paper but I thought JJ and the offense would be slinging it around more than they did.  Up until Purdue I was sorta right but then everything changed after that.

Our family is huge on…

Our family is huge on cooking.  From the 7 yr old up to the 13 yr old.
We have the convection oven with air fryer setting and that thing gets used multiple times a day.  Kids snacks like nuggets, pizza rolls, etc are a breeze and easy to get done in no time at all.  Not saying I suggest eating those but they come through when we are in a pinch or have to get someone to sports.

However, the counter space is definitely something to consider as it’s bulky.  I would highly recommend it to anyone who does a fair amount of cooking.  Small example -  I have smoked wings on the smoker and finished them off in the air fryer and they turned out amazing.  I like to finish lots of stuff off in there.  It heats up super fast and blasts it with high temp air creating a nice crust on most anything. I could go on but you get the gist of it.
Have had it for 3 years and It has been the best small appliance purchase for our family.

Edit: I see VAblue’s post now and I second that.

I’m in agreement with this…

I’m in agreement with this one and have rewatched it several times.  That game really made me believe something might be different but I still was cautiously optimistic until The Game.  It was less than 24 hours after my vasectomy but the Erick All TD run had me jump out of the recliner causing some very serious pain.  I will never forget that but it was all worth it…so far.

MHJ is extremely good but…

MHJ is extremely good but comes across as a freaking prima Donna.  As some have mentioned, I wouldn’t doubt that he may be negatively affecting the locker room and culture over there.  His hustle and effort (or lack of) after the WJ interception immediately jumped off the screen to me.  IMO, it spoke volumes as to what type of player he is.  He would fit perfect in the league.

I can’t imagine any one of…

I can’t imagine any one of those guys would decide to stay with all the uncertainty at QB looming.

Definitely comical that…

Definitely comical that spartys 2015 dream team/season is at 40.   Lololol!

That team was the #1 luckiest team in ALL of sports.

I hope McCord tears it up…

I hope McCord tears it up wherever he goes.
For someone who I actually didn’t hate as a coach, Ryan day has really shown his true colors the last few months.  He can eat shit.

Can’t figure out if the…

Can’t figure out if the offense is sleep walking or this Iowa defense is that good.

UWs offense looked very fast…

UWs offense looked very fast last night.  I don’t know if it’s because of the style or way that Penix plays and throws the ball but I was impressed.  They would definitely be a handful and I would be more concerned about our offense being ready to go toe to toe in a shoot out than relying on our defense to stop them.  That said, I hate assuming that this scenario is going to happen and that Iowa is an automatic win.  Can we please focus on beating Iowa for now?  We will have 4 weeks to discuss this!

If I could be half as…

If I could be half as selfless a man as coach, I would happy. This guy is not only a hard worker on the field but he works himself to be the best he can be off the field as well.  What you see is what you get and that’s a great human being.

There is not a single ounce…

There is not a single ounce of BPONE in me.  The Zinter injury is heartbreaking though.

This made me lol.  Its so…

This made me lol.  Its so Harbaugh.

In all seriousness, what the hell do these reporters expect him to say?  Especially right now!!

Nope.  That’s voodoo shit…

Nope.  That’s voodoo shit. Not possible.

Is this for real that there…

Is this for real that there are only two players out and nobody questionable?  Or is it just for the players that traveled or something?

Edit: I see this was already brought up now. Crazy they are this healthy!

I agree with you but admit…

I agree with you but admit that after all this, I’ve surprised myself at how easily I can fall into the bullshit trolling that happens on social media.  Especially twitter.  That place has helped me a lot with many things (business and overall life encouragement) but the OSU and MSU trolls have taken over my feed and it’s time for a break.  The negativity breads the whining and in reality all the goals for the team are still out there to accomplish.  Perspective is key!

Bet!!!

Is this the same thing and…

Is this the same thing and nature as “you wanna bet?” Like when I was a kid….ummmm….35 years ago. Now that I can understand.

Hence the reason I said …

Hence the reason I said “justified”

I think most of us are fine…

I think most of us are fine with a suspension once the investigation has been done and the suspension is justified.  The fact that this all coincidently comes out right before the meat of U of Ms schedule reeks of whiney-loser-strategic bull shit.  I really doubt any of those piling on care about the actual offense and would agree that it really doesn’t give that much of an advantage.  They only care because Michigan is kicking asses and Harbaugh is an easy target to go after.  He’s weird, kinda cold and awkward with the media.   Not to mention, forward thinking and challenges the machine.

You wanna talk about a…

You wanna talk about a miserable fan base?  Those guys are down bad and it’s hilarious.  They care far more about what’s going on with U of M than any of their own stuff (which there’s a lot going on).  Their only wins are any negative press on UM.

Sounds very cool but might…

Sounds very cool but might be the ultimate non-Harbaugh type of thing to do.  This guy seems to always deflect positive attention to others while taking all the other non-fun bullshit upon himself.

A pass play to Harrison Jr…

A pass play to Harrison Jr just to inflate his stats.  They are such a fraud team this year.

I can’t keep up with all the…

I can’t keep up with all the threads and am sure this exact thing could be buried somewhere else but its loaded with some pretty believable stuff and is worth putting out there again.  This is an update to a post I read last night on here (of course I can’t find it).  I’m just going to copy and paste the ENTIRE thing.  Including the original (as called out at the bottom).

“Sent to me from a message board. Copy pasting as it vibes with everything Ive heard. Only thing missing is that Ohio State has practice film from other teams. Including Georgia. Updating my previous post. Just giving you something before Sam gives us his early morning uodate. I'm off for a nap after this.

1) Connor Stallions is a friend, any worry about him going against the program are gone now. Whats important is that he doesn't have to stay quite once again.

2) Jim Harbaugh and other coaches didn't know, are holding by that. Petiti didn't provide any information contrary to that.

3) Big Ten is a playing a political game. That is why their are so many conflicting reports.

4) "If Petiti really had something, he wouldn't be asking for Michigan to give a 2 game suspension instead would be doing it himself." He is a lawyer and knows the situation he is in.

5) No evidence shown by NCAA or Big Ten to prove Michigan had practice film. Rumours that is actually Ohio State and they are just hoping other programs do too at this point.

6) Ohio State is behind all this. Has gotten the conference all worked up. Ryan Day and family members are directly linked to Felony level hacking. This doesn't bode well for them. They know the firms involved. Some concern about what information from computers from schembechler hall are in the hands of Ohio State and other coaches. "They will have to pay. Be patient. When/if this goes to court this case will be thrown out. Their will also be prosecutions quite possibly."

7) This doesn't affect the contract being signed as of yet other than it may be a little more later down the road. This is all me.... Be loud and show your support for Purdue. Jim Harbaugh and team chants all night long.

Previous stuff below.... Update for today 11/3....

1) Stallions resigned, and he is no longer required to "stay quite".....I am told he is still all Blue and won't be singing anything bad to anyone. But leaks may come out or he may sing praises of Harbaugh and company. "He is gonna do some favors for Michigan. The opposite could still happen but don't expect that."

2) No damning or new evidence presented. "Not sure where you got that." I'll be as surprised as you." Other person: "Rumours that it can be linked that 1 or all 3 of Minter Jay Harbaugh, and Partridge knew what Stallions was doing. But very unsubstantiated rumors right now."

3) Commissioner wanted 2 game suspension for Harbaugh to be handed down by the university. Ono kindly told Petiti no and to leave. "Why would we do that given the allegations, evidence, and due process? This conversation is over."

4) It's clear Petiti came in with "blood in his mouth." Doesn't want "Michigan to suffer but does want Harbaugh to suffer." Had the backing of other Presidents and ADs apparently. Clarify-Blood in mouth means he was anger and disturbed and was clearly motivated by others.

5) Michigan is lawyering up. Expect a fight. Phone calls gonna be made to AG and others. Update: Petiti is actually more level headed than some others in the conference. Lots of angry folks who want Harbaugh gone for someone on his staff speeding 5mph over. Petiti is feeling it but he is a lawyer too. So wait and see next moves now. Michigan isn't gonna sit with its hands tied.

My recommendation once again is to email Santa Ono and regents to show support for Harbaugh and to fight this thing. Also, contact the state attorney General if you can.

There is definitely a lot of garbage on that site but just keep scrolling and you will get to actual content.

Yes!!!

He’s weird.  He’s…

Yes!!!

He’s weird.  He’s odd. He’s quirky. And he’s ours.  The positive impact he has made on the university far far outweighs any of the bullshit fabricated narratives.  Haters have run out of negative things to say and are now grasping at straws.  We are truly back!  Please give this man his money and make him stay for the long term!

I really do too but…

I really do too but according to Isaiah, there are some people in power who could care less about the football program’s wins and losses and are much more concerned about the embarrassment this is causing the university.

I admit, some of this is…

I admit, some of this is really funny but not far off from what I’ve read in threads here.  I prefer to take our head coaches suggestion and move on with humble hearts.  Football teams are very fragile. We (or most of us) know too well that it takes one bad coaching hire to screw everything up.

I saw the half time score and was like “meh”

To wake up and see that Stanford came back and won is beyond shocking.

I’m assuming there was no “watch flex” at the end of this game.

I almost did not click on this because I'm admittedly a bit bored with her schtick.  I saw the OP had 15 upvotes so i decided to watch and am glad I did.  That was really funny and well done (and quite accurate).  Much better than what I have seen in the past.  Thanks for posting OP!

Thanks for sharing OP.

As a father of 3 boys, I can’t get through stories like this without getting choked up. I’m unable to fathom the pain of losing a child but my heart breaks for that family.  Also, JJ always comes across as such an outstanding human being.  How great it is to have him as a Wolverine.
