Harbaugh Garage Sale - Any MGoThrifters Out There?
Surprised this wasn't posted already. Perhaps I missed it but didn't see anything on the first two pages but it looks like the Harbaugh's had a garage sale over the weekend. It sounds like he was selling anything you could fit into a bag for $20. Anybody pick up some of his M gear. I didn't see to many treasures in the photo - looks like your typical garage. Can you think of any other coach or celebrity even that has a garage sale? Never change coach.
Any other MGoThrifters out there? What do you thrift for? Where do you go to find some good stuff?

In the Harbaugh household she's referred to as "the Head Coach."

I thought this was mainly an opportunity for anOSU fans to stop by and look through everything for cheeseburger receipts?
Ryan Day shows up to the yard sale in an effort to smooth things over with Jim. After they both talk, Day walks away feeling great and decides to peruse the items for sale. He finds a DVD copy of Signs. On the inside there's a note that says "To JH, my shooting star. The man who taught me everything. Sincerely, CS"
Ryan Day starts shaking out of anger. At this point he can barely see straight. He looks at Jim across the yard sale. Jim smiles and waves back. Ryan Day storms off to his vehicle with the Dvd in hand. Once inside of his vehicle he takes a few deep breaths, gathers himself, and drives off. A few blocks away he hears someone from the backseat say "That's a pretty good movie isn't it? You know I can't allow you to....STEAL MY SIGNS!!!!".

As to the OP's question about thrifting, ShopGoodwill is an online auction and has some good prices on a variety of items.
It seems like Goodwill is putting more and more of their "good stuff" on their auction web site. Makes it harder to find treasures in their thrift stores.

I'm a big thrift store / yard sale guy. Mainly look for odd vintage t-shirts, music cassettes since my truck has a tape deck, intriguing books, and sports gear for the kids... but often make other fun discoveries. I like that I can go on a shopping spree for like 10 - 20 bucks.
Likewise, estate sales. Great way for people starting out to put together a kitchen, with whole sets of flatware and china often available for cheap, especially if you go in the last few hours of the last day when everything goes to 50% off. I live in a nice area and the estate sales can be fruitful.
My hack: I go straight to the garage and look for tools. I can get a shovel for $5 that would cost me $30 in the hardware store. Also yard art, statues, flower pots. My God, what they charge retail for flower pots at English Gardens is criminal.
Wow. Quite an opportunity for Michigan fans who new this was coming imho.
