I mean that's like 75% based on a true story

I took my younger son to the game. On our way out the Fox talking head booth was right at our exit. I sent my HS-aged son a photo of Charles and Urban and he wrote back "Is that Kanye?" I put it in the "you know you're old when.........." bin.

Charles is one of the few guys I could see having a pet wolverine.
Plus, it would curl up on his lap and cuddle.

Hello there children!

Nobody cares - Charles is always relevant, even redundantly!

So nice that it got posted twice

Best part is that it's true!

The Bentley account also states that both Biff and Bennie lived for a time at a small zoo near the Natural History Museum, "but eventually became too vicious to remain on campus and were moved to the Detroit Zoo."
One of the essential keys to football success has always been to have a mascot so vicious that it has to live in a habitat roughly 40 driving miles from campus. A lot of teams do not know this, it appears.

Does LSU still have a live tiger in a cage outside of the visiting locker room on game days??
November 14th, 2023 at 8:58 AM ^
Don't know if its still the case, but a few years back Baylor still had live bears on campus in some sort of small zoo type deal.

I don't think Greg Brady and his chums would have gotten very far stealing the Michigan mascot. I'd love to see what his attic bedroom looked like after that.

Didn't know this ... great find!
November 13th, 2023 at 9:52 PM ^
Eddie George looked like that in 1995 too
November 14th, 2023 at 9:44 AM ^
I like the reference. Although watching the video I thought it looked like both those dudes could suit up and play this saturday for their repsecitve teams. Some Heisman winners have aged better than others.
November 13th, 2023 at 9:52 PM ^
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
All the respect in the world to Eddie George. They say we mellow with age. Whatever it is, kudos to his spirit.
He and Chuck were great.

Charles Woodson is awesome and always will be awesome

I can tip my hat to a few Buckeyes. Chris Spielman for one. Eddie George is another. Now I’m at a loss to come up with a third name.

Jesse Owens?

CJ Stroud never beat Michigan!
Jesse Owens is another

J.K. Simmons? J. Jonah Jameson in my two favorite spiderverses.

Eddie George is actually a classy dude. I met him after The Game in 2011, and he was pretty nice (despite the fact that they had just lost, lol).
November 14th, 2023 at 8:06 AM ^
He really seems great. This video makes me think twice about judging OSU players. We all made terrible decisions as teens.

Eddie 3.6 YPC George.

You need to change your user name to “Not a Nervous Bird”.
November 14th, 2023 at 6:42 AM ^
Kudos to Eddie, who was masterful in the sad-sack victim role. The Wolverine was all the more frightening for never being seen, a nice Hitchcock touch, and Charles was the best.

This is another reason Tennessee fans hate Michigan.
Peyton can't participate in these heisman commercials, and he's always been a commercial whore.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:06 AM ^
Don’t be so quick about that. I can see them doing a commercial with some Heisman winners in the back yard of the Heisman house, having a great time hanging out, everyone smiling and laughing. Then the camera pans to the fence showing Peyton, Suh, and maybe mcaffrey or some other runner up, in tattered jerseys with sad sack looks on their face, bemoaning their Heisman race loss. And as the camera view widens it shows an overgrown backyard and a dilapidated house with a couple of rusted out clunker cars in the driveway.
Actually, now that I think about it, that’d be a hilarious commercial. Also, manning would probably do it.

A pet Wolverine… or a mascot..
If only we could have a mascot “cage match”…. All are welcome - who will enter first?
November 14th, 2023 at 8:43 AM ^
Maybe we can place a caged Wolverine near the ESPN set.. and see if McAfee wants some cage match action.
November 14th, 2023 at 9:18 AM ^
Suggestion: Change your name from Nervous Bird to Late Bird.

The most ferocious animal in the world. This is a nine minute video that describes "things" about the Wolverine.
Enjoy...

From Wikipedia:
”The University of Michigan Athletic Department reports that Biff and Bennie “grew larger and more ferocious,” leading Yost to conclude, "It was obvious that the Michigan mascots had designs on the Michigan men toting them, and those designs were by no means friendly."”
