That will sting; right up until he looks down at his 7 fingers that are covered in super bowl diamonds.

Perhaps the sickest burn last night was the one Tom gives Eli's brother.

An aside: Randy Moss & Ben Affleck should have stayed home. Kevin Hart and Nikki Glaser stole the show for me.

He's a two way player, the guy can be on the DLine in a pinch.

Vikings should get the inverse grade that is assigned to the Falcons.  What the hell are they doing?

Exactly this.

Exactly this.

He can go to the Vikings and…

He can go to the Vikings and come up short at least two times a year against the formidable Lions.

Keep em coming, coach May.

This team - in year one - might turn out to be a very fun one to watch.

If those mocks are right;…

If those mocks are right; that is huge value from Corum and Zinter in the fourth-ish rounds.

I hope if he's not drafted that the Lions are in on Barnhart as a FA.  I think he would be a great OL pickup as a signee.

Excellent!!

#56 isn't bad when you consider all coaching positions have changed or are new.

Yes please!

Science.

If this speculative roster…

If this speculative roster holds up, I'm impressed in the work May has put in.  This is a team I would buy a ticket to go watch.

Good luck to him.  I'm sure…

Good luck to him.  I'm sure his game will develop.

I have a glimmer of hope…

I have a glimmer of hope that some of this movement to the portal is a game of chess by KBA.  In order to get more NIL flowing to WBB in general, it may be necessary to show that collectively they have power to help themselves.  I don't think they can "unionize", but working together to bring NIL money their way collectively may be a tremendous strategy.  Of course there is a risk that some team pulls a player or two but in order to upset the apple cart going forward it might be worth the risk.

Did the team give a massive…

Did the team give a massive NIL deal to Mel Tucker?

Take that UCONN MBB.  Suck…

Take that UCONN MBB.  Suck it Dan Hurley.

I know we won't end up there…

I know we won't end up there, but currently sitting at #41 in the 247 ranking, it sure would be great to get some momentum going.  Now that our coaching staff hires are (hopefully) complete, we should see the commitments coming in for the good guys.  Go Blue!

At least May won't have to…

At least May won't have to say he doesn't have his own guys.  From Day 1, the guy has a clean slate.

In late for the bang.

In late for the bang.

The dude has made a career…

The dude has made a career out of knowing his shit about Michigan sports (especially Football/Basketball).  He clearly loves the U and has their best interest at heart.   If Santa, Warde and/or the Regents are asking, I'm for Brian representing the fans.

Surprised the "Just for Men"…

It is a nice letter; but…

It is a nice letter; but this is a coach that likely wants to continue to do so probably back in the NBA.  A classy letter is the only way to make that aspiration a reality.

Sad he couldn't make it work in Ann Arbor, good luck to you Juwan.

There's a B1G tournament…

There's a B1G tournament going on right now?...hm, who knew.

The problem is that action…

The problem is that action of firing assistant coaches is a year too late.

When you are proud of the EFFORT there is nothing else to be proud of.  Come on Warde, this is a simple decision.

Those first two sentences in…

Those first two sentences in your second paragraph may be the most impressive humble brag I have ever read.  You win.

Now that the season is…

Now that the season is gratefully over - in his words - Warde can now examine the complete body of work on the season and make his choice on the future of the MBB program.

If its anything other than Howard not being the coach next year and decided in a timely manner to get the new coach search going, Mr. Ono should fire Warde.  On any objective measure and most subjective measures, Howard just isn't the right person for this job.  It should have been obvious from last year's results, but if it isn't now, Warde is blind.  Blow it up.

If we needed a coach mid…

If we needed a coach mid-season to fill in while a coaching search was ongoing; Beilein would have been great.  For an actual rehire, no thank you to Beilein.  His UM legacy is established and I don't want it tarnished.

Get an up and coming young coach that can be here for 10+ years.

I'm not sure what else…

I'm not sure what else Howard can show that would prove to you that he's not a good head coach.  His teams play as if they don't know what they are doing.  No fundaments, seemingly only iso offense, have trouble with entry passes to Big Men, turnover the ball over and over, can't defend without fouling, play scared in pressure moments, no positive culture to speak of, and no player development.

Force a resignation and move on.

To be fair, if the NIL at…

To be fair, if the NIL at Bama is so much better he could make more $$ this year while still being a top 10 pick.

Thank goodness!

Thank goodness!

I presume that the wrist has…

I presume that the wrist has been bothering him for some time and the team is finally realizing that the season is over and to get this fixed so it doesn't impact next year....

....when hopefully he's playing for a new coach at UM.

Here's my take:

1) the…

Here's my take:

1) the yearly results are on a downward trend, not just one bad year.

2) Last year, he had 2 high NBA draft picks and an All-American center and could not make the tournament and also lost early in the NIT.

3) He has made zero changes to a coaching staff that isn't getting it done.

4) He slapped an opposing coach after a game.

5) He ran off a long time highly successful Strength Coach for sticking up for the trainer when Juwan's son was yelling at him.

6) His teams show a lack of simple fundamentals in playing the game (turnovers, bad shots, no offense, can only play defense by fouling).

7) His - arguably - best player is only eligible for home games since he's not going to classes.

8) His current team is dead last in a very down B1G conference.

Time for him to realize that resigning to save face is a smart approach.

I sure wish that Texas game…

I sure wish that Texas game was much later in the year when UM will have more time to be comfortable with the new coaches and the weather might be favorable to Mich players.

If UM makes that game competitive, we should be in good shape to have a great season.

I love the home field aspect…

I love the home field aspect.  Great for the teams, fans, universities and cities that gets to host those premier home field games.  I just hope that the devil (i.e. NCAA) doesn't get the money from the gate and concessions.

Your points are noted,…

Your points are noted, however, you are leaving off the rebuttal that matters.  Both Harbaugh and Beilein showed that after terrible seasons that they were able to identify what needed to change and they were confident enough to make them.  Both of those coaches changed their staff.  In contrast after a terrible showing last year (no tourney with 2 high draft players and an All-American center), he made no changes to his staff.  Its time for him to go.

Since the Beilein players…

Since the Beilein players have dropped off Juwan's roster this team's success has dropped off a cliff.  Watch the product that he is putting out.  They now lack basic fundamentals.  For example: This team has a hard time throwing an entry pass to a big man.  They can't seem to play anything other than iso basketball and can't play defense without fouling.   From a team that wasn't able to make the tourney last year, they had 2 NBA high draft picks and an All-American center, that is just bad coaching.  From last year's awful results, I don't believe they made one change in their coaching staff - not one.  Now the team is last in the Big Ten....LAST (currently, 3-12).  Its time.  I hope Juwan bows out and resigns in the post game presser after their loss in the first round B1G tourney game.
